Sept 2014?

the rumor is May for free dining!!!

Hoping! If the history of things is correct it could be announced anywhere from March 5 to May 5. Everyone says "Disney doesn't HAVE to do this...so don't count on it. It's hard to argue with history, and I just count on it too often I guess. :pixiedust:pixiedust:pixiedust:

Just my opinion, but for a first time visit for your kids I would scrap Rose and Crown and go to Chef Mickey's. The kids will love it and they get to meet Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Goofy and Pluto at one meal. It's my kids' favorite character dinner (we haven't try tried their breakfast.) :)

Joining in. NOJ weekend again in 2014. Its a special mom and DD trip we started in 2013.

Ok so I have officially added a day to our trip. We are now arriving on Sept 27. I did this as someone has mentioned on fb that they received a FD pin and last day was Sept 27 and usually GP is about the same. I know this is not a guarantee but better safe then sorry. Plus who wouldn't want an extra day in Disney. :lovestruc

If we could be updated from Sept 28-Oct 4 to Sept 27-Oct 4. thanks. :)

We are taking my brother, his wife and their three girls (12, 9, 2) for their first ever trip to WDW in Sept 2014.

Booked September 6th, at BLT Theme Park View room for six nights, then we are off to Universal Studios for three night (planning on booking an onsite hotel for the front of the line passes), then back to BWV Boardwalk View for five nights.

I am really apprehensive about doing a 14 night theme park trip with three children, but as they are from Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, this is a once in a life time opportunity for them and they really wanted to see Universal, so we added that in.

Much planning to do in the next few months so that we can make this trip go as smoothly as possible. First time I will be using Magic Bands, so I have a learning curve to go through for that, but other than that we are seasoned WDW visitors, we go ever other year (except we have now done two years in a row, this trip will be three). I should hopefully be able to plan our days so that everyone enjoys themselves.

Hi all, Yes just hubby and me,staying in a moderate, using the military discount for lodging and tickets, waiting on info for free dining to make reservations, I have a question is it better to wait until FD dates are announced or secure reservations? Thanks

I would book then you can call back at any time to see what discounts would be the cheapest for you!!! That's me and my giddiness of wanting to book.
CM's are WONDERFUL people who will help in every step of planning... So are the people there too... ;)

Add us to the list! We tried to go last year and it just didn't work for us. But we are on for this year! We will be leaving Sept 7th and coming home the 13th. Plan is to stay at POR. Hope they come out with free dining during that time! Now to keep it a surprise from my kiddos!:ssst:
