Just some thought for September planners based upon my notes from last year and our experience (we've gone to Disney in September 6 times so far!)

Dates for Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party were released in late April and tickets went on sale in early May. The party started second week of Sept and dates for the party were Tuesdays and Fridays. You could determine the dates beforehand by checking the Magic Kingdom's calendar - the park closed at 7 on the party dates (except the first Friday in Sept - park closed early for Night of Joy music festival.)

Free dining offer came out in early May for September dates.

The weather will be hot and humid and it will probably rain a little. We've never had a day entirely washed out, but we did have 1/2 days entirely washed out by rain. (Funny thing is, we've had rainy days at Hollywood Studios 4 years in a row, so I'll have to let everyone know which day we're going there and you can count on that as a rainy day lol!)

We love September at Disney! Can't wait for our trip!

I just started reading posts on here and I'm glad to see I'm not the only one planning for Sept already! My hubby thinks I'm nuts, I no sooner get through New Year's Day and I'm pulling out the Disney planner!

We're going the same time as last year - Sept 13 or 14th through the 21st but we're going back to the Wilderness Lodge (last few stays were at the Beach Club.) I love the Beach Club but their prices increased so I'd rather stay at the Wilderness Lodge and add an extra day!

This will be our 12th trip (hubby and I have gone 11 times, my son has been there 6 times, my daughter 5 times - and they're only 7 and 5!) I'd say we're hooked!

I'm already planning our dining (should get free dining again,) and we're definitely going to MNSSHP again, it was a blast last year! Sooooo excited, I love to plan!

Although nothing is officially booked yet (waiting for the DVC 7 month window) we are planning on going September 21 - 25. When I discussed this trip with him, DH made the fatal error of not saying no, which I took as a yes. So now the wheels are in motion and he realizes it's too late to stop me now

We are going September 25-Oct 6th!!! Hoping to do a split stay between Pop and POFQ so we can appease everyone in our party...there will be 13 of us. Kids want Pop, adults want POFQ 258 days!!!

I think the adults win on the hotel choose don't let the kids win on nothing but the rides let then choose those

Looks like our trips are reversed! We were at WL September 15 last year and will be at Beach Club this September 14-21.

Have you stated at the Beach Club before? We love it, we've stayed there more than any other resort! Just felt it was time for a change!

WAITING PATIENTLY FOR FREE DINING... So my best friend can go with her three boys. We've already secured FD as a bounceback for our room, but she desperately needs to be able to go! Keeping fingers crossed.

book a preferred room if you can afford. Makes nightly trips to get refills on mugs a bit less of a hike! We LOVE POR. It's where we will be at in September too.

high crowds during labor day. that's about it. with the heat and crowds i can't deal! LOL i wait for the week after everytime.
