Hello fellow DISers! We are booked for POP Sept 13th-18th. DH's b-day is that week and Free Dining snagged us. We were just in Disney over Christmas and we weren't really planning on returning for a year. Then we saw the price of POP with free dining and we booked. Our families think we are nutty, but we have such a good time at Disney. It's our fav. vacation.

I thought I posted to this thread but I guess I didn't.

We are planning our first trip (after having to cancel last year) for September 20 - 26 with FD!!!! After having to explain to my kids (10, 4 and 1 at the time) that we weren't going and breaking their hearts, we decided not to tell them this time. Obviously the youngest has no clue but the other two understood.

We are staying at AKL and I am so excited!! Now just to wait until hours are released so I can figure our ADR's out.

We just changed our July trip to September - YEAH!!! We are going Sept 12th - Sept 19th and staying at the Wilderness Lodge. Can't wait, just praying for NO HURRICANES this year. We live in Texas and had to change our trip around last year due to IKE so we are keeping fingers crossed for this year!!

So ever since I booked our trip (like 5-6 months ago), I've taken a hiatus from disboards because it was just too depressing with the trip being so far off!

Well, go figure, 2009 is flying by! So I just now found this thread.

DH and I are going to WL Sep. 12-19 for our first anniversary. We spent our honeymoon at the Poly last year, and we had such a great time that within a few weeks of coming home DH told me to book our anniversary trip for 2009. We were planning on doing FD, but then we got that 40% off discount in e-mail, which saves us approximately $87 more than FD would. That's $87 worth of souvenirs!

We're really, really excited. I've currently got vacationitis and Disneyitis in a BAD way.

Going Sept 1---8th I think. Give or take a day, lol. Staying at Movies. Went last July stayed at CBR, going in May staying at POP, Sept at Movies and again in Nov staying at Poly

First timers to WDW! Sept. 17-26. We are unbelievably excited, and becoming obsessed! My DH, and DD (6) are letting me plan, along with my sister and her friend. Thankfully, they are veterans of this process and are helping all along the way. There will be a total of 14 of us going, all staying at POP. Can I leave now!?

My family will be staying at POP from Sept 12-19th. We were suppose to go this May but had to cancel. I am even more excited about Sept since its free dining and its to celebrate my birthday! Not only that I love MNSSHP so this just might be the best WDW vacation my family has had.

We (me, DH, dS 6 & DD 5) are at the POP w/ Free Dining from 09/19/09-09/26/09. It is our 10th Anniversary on 09/25/09, we honeymooned with the land/sea package and then hit DL on our 5 year anniversary. THis will be the kids first trip. Seems like a busy time at the resorts anyway! Hopefully the parks won't be quite as busy. Does everyone have their ADR date down? I'm already trying to figure out where/when I want to book my TS meals. I wish Sept hours were up already! At least I'm going mid-month so I'll have a little time to tweak plans once they're up before making Adrs

Add me to the list. I will be staying at VWL from Sept. 25-Oct. 2nd. Had a week booked for October but had to change it. I wasn't thinking too clear about temperatures & hurricanes! Something else to obsess about!

It is a trip to celebrate my Dad's 70th birthday. I was shocked when I asked my sister and brother to join us and they said yes. No kids, no spouses just us 5. I'm not sure if I should be excited or scared to death None of them are planners (which is totally against my nature) so I don't think I'll have many ADRs...and I'm not sure what to plan.

Not eligible for free dining since it's an RCI exchange into DVC.

Don't know if I should get hoppers because I'm not familiar with off peak hours. I've only been during peak times with longer hours and more crowds. I am so excited about going off peak!!!! I really want to be laid back.

We are getting the military salute tickets thanks to my dad.

It's gonna be wierd for me not having my kids (15, 12, 8) at the World.

Don't think we will do the MNSSHP

Looking forward to see what you all plan to do.
