Ang and M&N, lately I have been inundated with folks who have differing ideas on just how old the Earth is. There are those who think it millions of years old (scientists) and those who think it can only be a few thousand years old (religious) but they are the extremes of either POV. Most of us (scientists and religious) reside somewhere in the middle and a few of us are smart enough to know that we do not know, for sure. I met a young lady at DW while waiting for a ressie at O'Hana's. She was home schooled and she told me that she liked it because she did not want to learn the wrong stuff. She informed me that the Earth could only be 2,000 years old because of Jesus. I might have argued against that theory but for my idea that parents have the right to teach their kids what they want to. Later on the same teenage girl believed me when I told her that when she put the glowing ice cube in her mouth the light radiated out her ears.
It is not what we do not know that is worrisome but the things we think we know that are wrong.
Diva K, while it is true that the laundry will wait if you wait too long it might sprout legs, or at least mold. Hope breakfast was good. I know the company was.
Waiting for grandson to show up. Today we are sorting stuff out. Should be fun. I sit at the top of the steps and aruge with him on where things go. He is good at the big stuff, not so good at details though. Wish his demented little brother with the OCD would come over too.
