Sept. 2009 @ WDW! Be a Pop Tart 2009~come share your(Bounce Back or NOT)Dates !!!

I just spent all evening helping DH recover from a virus attack...horrible!! But it's fixed now (I think...)

Yikes :scared: :faint: I would not know what to do.. and did not even know about the virus/worm till around 11:00PM... thank god for another Diser friend.. kinda got some help to get ready....

The sad part is that it wasn't even the new horrible one, it was just an old horrible one! :scared:

Good morning... i hope it is all better now.. old or new it is not a God thing... in my case... I called several people to make sure I did what I needed to do.. and the last call well it was just an excuse to chit chat... :lmao:

Diva-:grouphug: lots of prayers your way:hug:
DM Jess-we use MDW or IND/MCO. Our Oct flights were $58 one way. MDW was $79 but better times. Now I just have to wait til Air Tran changes flight times & switch:rotfl2:

April-who else has their heat & winter coats still on besides Ang????
:flower3:

Winter coat - don't have one anymore. But my friends back home are still wearing theirs. Poor things. ;)

Good Morning Poppers!! Happy Wednesday!! :yay:

well its 49 and raining here.... but I did not even get to wear a winter coat this year...:confused3

It's 60 here and will be 68 or so today...Spring has sprung in NC!! :flower3:

Supposed to rain here too, Timmy, but overcast right now. Last week we had 5 days of pouring rain...everything is so green now!!

Good morning, almost afternoon everyone!

I am sitting here trying to think of what I did yesterday because I missed a lot on this thread. Oh yea, that two hour nap! Obviously it worked though because I got out and trimmed all my hedges and was done by 9:00am this morning.:cheer2:

I was a little upset about Space Mountain closing, but TTA. No, they can't close it. Since Jacob is on Spring Break next week we will be heading over to MK to ride those two. He doesn't care for Space Mountain, but he'll live. I want to see what changes they make.

Hey, and :welcome: to the new Pop Tarts.:yay:

Well, since they don't have July hours up yet, I guess I will go clean house. Hope everyone has a great day!!!

I see the Confliker did not get any of you. Good! I was out and about yesterday. Had to take Tom for a blood test. It is usually me getting poked. Met the saddest lady. She had been flooded out last year, had to stay at a motel and fell there, broke her leg. Doctor did not fix it right and told her that she was too old to bother to fix. Another doctor is offering help as she has no money. We need some sort of clearing house where folks can go for help. I helped set one up years ago but it does not seem to work too well. Folks around here do not like to ask for help. Those that do are often the ones who do not need it much either. :sad2: People tell me stuff.

Pooh, glad you to hear that you are able to go back to work even if not for full time. Takes your mind off things a bit. Take it easy. :)

M&N, it might be a tad bit hard for you to get the discounts that I do on my AP's. I use credit cards that give me cash back and am usually able to accrue about $400-500 each year and then I have a stack of one day tickets so if you figure that the AP's can be used over a two year period, if one chooses dates wisely, I can usually get them for free, every two years. WEDway, at night, is the best. You can often stay on and ride over and over again if it is not busy.

Diva K, I am so sorry to hear of your loss. The grandma was part of the family that you visited at Christmas? I hope so. I hope your return home is safe.

WIC, you might consider a $50 debit card for Kellie so she can see how much she has left. Also the Disney area at the WM down past Crossroads is a great place to make your dollars stretch. BTW, the sign is RED. I could not find it until someone pointed that out. I kept looking for blue. :rotfl:

DisneyMoon, Lisa and Tigger, welcome! You have come to the right place. These folks are wonderful, friendly, and knowledgeable. I will not mention a bit crazy until later, after you have become addicted. :rotfl2: (BTW, Lisa, the mom in me demands that I suggest that you pick another screen name. Not much awful goes on around here but you would not want to make it easy if someone was a jerk. I assuming that is your real name).

For those of you who know Dan Murphy, you might want to know that he has been in the hospital and has been diagnosed with the same thing as I, atrial fibrillation. He seems to be having a harder time of it. There are a couple of threads over on the CB.

Have some flash cards to make. Some of my kids are champing at the bit to be able to really read so I am making cards from the best first reader I have found "Go Dog Go". I just love to see their faces when they figure out how to sound out words and such. It is magical. Even better than DW and that is saying something for me.

Fantastic, SG! I miss the days when I did such things. ::yes::

WedWay: I can't imagine going around just once...twice is the least and often more. Also a nice way to put your feet up and cool off on a hot day. :) Even that humid breeze is better than walking in it. ;) Oh, yes, and at night it's even better!

Welcome Ms. Kreamer. Wish our dates matched but sadly they don't. Deluxe dining is a whole lot of food and time spent in restaurants. If your main goal is to enjoy all the restaurants or lots of 2 credit places like the castle, hoop de do, and the luau then Deluxe is for you. If you are more geared toward experiencing the parks and doing as much as possible you might want to go for the regular free dining and not be tied down to getting to ADR's on time. HTH

I am pricing our meals right now. Thing is, we LOVE to eat. We aren't the type of family that can do 1 meal a day and split entrees. Plus we want to do Hoop and Luau and maybe a signature place or two. So most days that would give us 2 meals per day, with snacks. I am going to go through and budget to see if we break even or save.

DH & I actually passed some of the last 24 hours talking about our trip in August (8/15-8/22.) Anybody know when Southwest will release dates after 8/14?!?!?:confused3
Do you need to reserve (or can you?) the Water Mice? Where is the best place on Seven Seas Lagoon to rent one (CT, GF or Poly?)
Pop Tarts...Pop Century...Timmy came up with it and I LOVE it!:cool1:

Hey, Kris!

We always rented the water sprites (oops, mice) from the resort where we were staying (Poly or CR back then), but CR has a small snack bar nearby and tables with umbrella's for those who might be on share waiting. :)

As far as I know, it is walk up rental, no reservations - but once you arrive at your resort you could call the CR Marina rentals to be sure.

My gosh, I'd forgotten SW dates for mid August are not open yet!! It is so hard to be waiting to book fligjhts! Hope it happens soon - sorry I can't be more help.

Hope you are all doing well. No bad weather, I hope?
