Question:

How are the Disneyland trip people getting to their hotels after the cruise?

I've booked with Karmel Shuttle. Seemed to have good reviews. Coming from Whistler? I've got about a 40 minute shorter drive to Vancouver than you. Heh.

Bummer about the change in the weather! We have just had an amazing 2 weeks of 80-90 (27-32 for us Cdns!) degree sunshine!

It won't be too cold or wet though. I promise

Since we're staying at the Grand Californian, we're getting the Disney Cruise Bus. I can not wait!!!

we booked with Lotus Transportation - but we're going to LAX to rent a car to drive to Anaheim - only spending the rest of Sunday at DL - then driving back to Gilroy that night

i have not had a chance to pack other than pirate stuff.....nail appt / pedicure / tan appt / hair appt / drs appts....i guess i'll be packing friday night after picking up sister from SJC & finishing up sat before we leave for the train station....nothing like "last minute" packing

Adding an umbrella and sun screen to my packing list. I just looked through a bunch of pages of the cruise food pictures. So excited and SOOOOOO hungry now!

a cruise is SUCH a good excuse for a bit of pampering - i will be signing up for some 'spa treatment' too but i LOVE your idea of "winning one"

I was catching up on the posts this morning and giggling over the posts about Keurigs, Rainforest spa, fireworks, surprising the kids (awwww) etc. Looks like we have a really fun group! I started packing last night. For our last cruise in Feb. it took me a week to pack so I am hoping I've got it all figured out this time. I usually pack pretty light, but I just had to call the airlines to see how much they charge per bag to check in because it doesn't look like I can get clothes for 3 people and a boxful of FE's into one bag! Luckily it's only $20 per bag so you won't have to picture me sitting on my bag sobbing while my dh complains about me buying too many FE and tries to zip it closed. LOL!
We are taking the train from Seattle to Vancouver on Monday (19th) and I was told there is work being done on the lines (as someone mentioned in an earlier post) but it will not affect the journey as the work is being done later in the day. Our train is at 7:40 AM and I was told to arrive at the station an hour early to go through immigration/customs. So if you see us at the train station, we'll be the excited but haggard looking couple trying to entertain a 4 yr old boy (who hopefully won't be cranky from having to wake up early).

YAY!! i could never fit 3 ppl's clothes into one bag!!! glad you don't HAVE to either

The current list shows Tim & Pam in room 7076. I have them as username PiratePug & crossed out as 'cancelled their cruise'....

Is there another Tim & Pam that I'm getting confused with? I don't want to not deliver. I guess if there's a FE hanging at that cabin I could just leave something in it and if not, well, not!

I just love throwing in the dancing banana 'cause I know someone somewhere is gritting their teeth every time they see it

Alas...my husband and I will not be joining you guys after all

My husband just accepted a new job and doesn't feel comfortable taking vacation so soon. I am soooooo bummed but he has needed a change for a long time and although this cruise probably won't happen again I know we will take other Disney cruises together.

Y'all have a blast - can't wait to see pics so somebody please post a trip report!

OMG Norah - i read this first on my 'email' which doesn't show the quotes like the board does and i thought YOUR family was cancelling out of the cruise - i was about ready to die - after all you did to surprize the girls etc!!!!! OMG - talk about heart failure!!!

Just thinking about it gives me the collywobbles! My DH would would have to get one heck of an unbelieveable job for us to cancel at this point . He even has a countdown clock on his computer that counts down the seconds. Apparently we dropped under a half-millions seconds last night Nope, I'm afraid you're stuck with us Bananas and all!
