I know someone on this thread asked this question, but I'm not sure I ever saw any "no" responses - are there any parents who are against their kids getting candy in their FE's?

Um...they heck with the kids, what about me? Oh wait, I like my sugar diluted with rum!

Hey there. We're going to be on the repositioning cruise, and are very excited! I just found out about this site, so hopefully I'm not jumping on too late for a meet-up. Any information anyone has to share for a new cruiser? We have NEVER been on a Disney -or any -cruise. We've got two girls (nine and five), and would love any thoughts, ideas, meet-ups, etc!

Was just reading back and realized I missed this first post. Welcome to the group. We have two girls age 10 and 6 so will probably run into each other at the kids clubs at least . Mine are the bossy ones

No kidding! LOL! I am SOOOOOO glad that I'm not working right now! I lost my job in June, but they knew I was going to be quitting in September anyways, but it DEFINITELY worked out for the better because I can't IMAGINE trying to plan this wedding, make FE gifts, pack my ENTIRE house AND work!!!

Yikes, just having to deal with one of those would push me over the edge! Doing all of it is beyond my imaginings . So it's *this* Saturday for the wedding..? Wow, hope you both have a wonderful wonderful day!

Watched the video - so cute -and what a great way to let the girls know about the cruise. Does the dog get to come too?? - seemed just as excited.

Sigh...I wish. That's the part I'm not looking fowward to...being away from my furkids for 10 days!

FergusBC - We did the big reveal, too - we couldn't wait either! We told our girls last weekend. We used the DVD, too - that thing is pretty darn handy to reveal the surprise. We're already getting the "I can't wait anymore!" complaining, even though they've only had to wait a few weeks, and we've known for MONTHS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Every day gets a little closer!!!

We're leaving our four dogs... always painful. Fortunately, I'm not sure they care whether we're home or not... They usually just wag at whoever feeds them.

Not right next door, because we are in an inside cabin and you have a balcony. But.... we should be able to touch each other's doors at the same time. Looking forward to meeting you, hubby and the girls. Make sure you bring a Fish Extender of some type. So that those of us who have extras can leave a couple of things for your girls.

A friend on mine on the Queen Mary 2 right now wrote yesterday that when she was looking around onboard she came upon the kennels onboard - she now wishes she took her buddy along with her - wonder what the fare would be on a pooch onboard $$.

You did such a good video for the kids you should make one for the pets too for when you are gone.

We are on early dinning with a requested rotation of Animators, Parrot Cay, Parrot Cay (pirate night), Tritons (semi-formal night), Animators OR APPTA for short.
So if anyone gets the same rotation, keep an eye out for us

so you can REQueST A dining rotation? do you still have to wait till you get to your stateroom to know what the rotation actually is? thanks
