You should be able to us US dollars in Ensanada, but you may receive your change in Pesos. If that's the case, you had best spend them while you're still in Mexico because they'll be worthless in LA. Dollars may spend in Mexico but Pesos aren't accepted in the US...

Thanks Susan. We had a cabin on the port side but are now GTY for a mini-suite since we saw the price drop. Haven't been on any other cruise ship other than Disney so we feel we might be a little lost at times but will make the most of it knowing we have 12 days on the Wonder ahead of us.

Of course we're not even remotely close to having EVERYTHING done and ready, but the wedding plans are coming along nicely. Yes, we've got everything set and reserved (I think. FH is handling most of the details, but he's staying pretty on top of it all! ). Can't wait!

At first, I'm not a English speaker, so please forgive my poor English.

My friend and I will join this cruise from Japan.
This is our first time cruise, so we are very excited!
We will arrive at LAX and visit Disneyland before the cruise,
then will move to Vancouver on Monday.

At Victoria, we booked afternoon tea at Empress hotel.
Unfortunately, the city and shopping tour at Ensenada was full,
so I'm making plan to enjoy the town by myself.
Can I use dollar at restaurant and souvenir shops at Ensenada ?

At least it worked out well in the end Me and my mum have the worst look when we travel, so were just hoping that everything goes ok. We've been stuck in Paris due to a strike by the pilots, so our flight got cancelled. We got stuck in Orlando 2 christmas's ago because we'd had really bad snow in the UK, we were delayed for 3 days and we got stuck in Barcelona due to the ash cloud last year. Our flight's from LA to Orlando have been cancelled on this trip but we have managed to sort out new ones with a different airline. I think we're just jinxed lol.

oh well there may not be much in Swinden to see - esp when you can travel to places like Paris...Barcelona, LA & Orlando!!

I'm so excited about our trip and just want to go right now! I'm so impatient.
I know it's going to be a blast!
Our first cruise was only 3-nights and was over way too fast and just felt so busy, that we couldn't do everything we wanted (we never stepped foot in one of the pools, though ds did get to try the splash area). I'm looking forward to those sea days to just relax and check out the pools and activities

I want to make a "countdown chain" for ds, but then I also wanted to just pack up the van when he's not looking the night before and tell him we are just going to the aquarium or zoo or something on THE day and just let him figure it out as we get to the port.... hmmm, I guess I'll have to ditch the chain idea, since "Surprise, we're here!" would be way more fun right??

Hey would everyone like to see the tie dye Mickey shirts that my son and I made for our trip??? We made one for each member of the family (my mom and brother too), but here is a pic of just the kiddos trying on theirs. Just ignore the funny look on ds's face, he does like his shirt, but he thinks that when the camera is out, that means its time to make silly faces, lol.

I agree totally! It's been so busy at work the last couple of weeks that I've been able to put it out of my mind rather than going out of my mind with excitement! Part of me wishes I'd stop wishing the summer away but then I look out the window at the lousy weather and wonder 'what summer?'

We were going to do the surprise on the morning of but then decided we'd give the kids about a week's notice or so...DH wants to tell them now so that we can threaten to cancel the trip if they're not behaving Yeah, like they can't recognize an empty threat when they hear one!

There is a tutorial somewhere here on the DIs for it, maybe in the Dis'igns area?
You can probably seach tie dye mickey and find it.
Basically you draw out a mickey head on the shirt, and then use waxed dental floss and hand stitch around the tracing and pull it tight and dye that part seperately from the rest. Then you pull out the floss afterwards and a mickey head appears

We are doing this too. My husband is so glad I found this tip on this thread. We just printed our boarding passes the other day. Yeah!!!

My custom made FE gifts came in the mail the other day and they are so nice!!! Even though we still have two months before the cruise I've started to pack my carry-on bag. We can't wait!!!

So cute Crystal , (kids and the t-shirts) my kids and grandkids seem to all get a silly look on their face when I want to take a pic - oh right, I do too - must be inherited.

I am just doing bling shirts for us - not son-in-law - he isn't into bling . Good job on the shirts.
