Mine came via USPS however, they were sent by allseas not DCL directly! I cant believe I am the 1st one! I am never 1st at anything! Now I can do a double happy happy joy joy dance!

We are about 3 1/2 hours from the port. We live about 5 miles inside Ga. Right off I-75. We will go down to 10 then across to 295/95 and high-tail it to Cocoa. Hopefully there will not be much traffic and we will have smooth sailing.

mom2sean, if I may, without offending you, ask how much you are paying for that room in Cocoa Beach, and what hotel it is. Priceline is really not to hard, and you may be able to save alot of money. We are like you, we only need a place to sleep. Especially since the kids will not be with us this time!

No I'm not offended. LOL We're paying about $50 for Motel 6 in Cocoa beach.

It will be next week before we get our docs.. I e-mailed the TA and that is what she said. Hopefully they will be here before we leave for a short trip to WDW.

Is anyone packing Princess dresses to take with them? We are thinking about taking both a Cinderella and Snow White dress.

Dominique just informed me that i could stay home and she would go with Mickey Mouse by herself..LOL

Count my husband and me in. This will be our first cruise, and our first time away from our kids in almost 20 years. We are getting really excited. We are flying in the night before and plan to be at the port about 11 or so. See you there!!

It will be noon or so before we get to the port. I will have on my DIs lime green shirt with name on it and dom will have on a lime green short set. Not for sure what misti will have on. It isnt much longer now. Two work weeks and then we are off!!!!!

I can't believe it! Less that 30 days!!!! Woooo hoooo!!! It's getting closer and closer and it's been really fun watching the paper chain disappearing!!! That's been as good for me as it has for DS! I can see it getting closer! Then I come look at one of my posts to see the EXACT count down! I will be sure to have green mickey ears somewhere on me! My HD had a ton of them! LOL

Yipee everyday gets closer and closer! No one else has gotten their docs yet? I am such a mean mommy taking a cruise without my hoodlums! I hope I dont feel too guilty to have a good time! (NOT) LOL I dont feel too bad, as we have a cruise planned 2 in Novmeber for the whole family, that the kids don' t even know about! They are going to be ooo excited to find out! I have been teasing them so bad about them not being able to go on a cruise! ( I know I am mean ) I haven't decided when to tell them about it yet. So what rooms has everyone been assigned to? I think we are in 6131....no upgrade for us :-( We may buy one at port if it is not full and not expensive! LOL

I've been to Nassau twice, we are planning to do Atlantis this time.. we 'toured' the first time, and as a grad present, me and dad 'encountered' the Dolphins the second...

Dad works for Delta, so we a Cat 6 gurantee through interline, Perx. Great deal, Balcony and all...

We havn't done Disney before and I'm excited....

just think 4 weeks from tomorrow, we'll all be meeting...

We are going down the Fri before, (2 days early, driving, mom hates flying unfortunately) relax, and do the space center there on Sat...

We live near Atl... closer to six flags...

I am small, red hair... blue eyes, hard to miss....

Well, I think that covers everything.

We're in the last few weeks!! hooray. Soon we'll be on board and sailing away. My husband and I are going without our kids, too. But I don't feel too guilty because we're all going on a cruise next year. We are going to WDW for 2 days after. See everyone real soon!!

Has anyone done the Champagne Brunch at Palo's? Does anyone know what kind of dress is expected for it? Is it the same as in the evening, or is it just casual? Thanks for the help

Yay another kidless couple! LOL Now I dont feel so bad! We did the Champagne brunch as Palos in October and it was Yum. We dressed more as you would at dinner, IE business casual? I wore a dress and my DH wore a polo type shirt and nice pants. I am just so happy that I am not alone in leaving the kids! LOL We actually had our Novmeber cruise booked 1st, from last year. We rebooked while we were aboard. But that someone one the DIS broguht my attention to what a great deal our sailing and the sailing after it had, so I jumped on it.

I'm not really sure what we'll be doing on Nassau day. Since we've never been there before we were thinking we might walk around and see some of the sights. Our real goal for the trip is just to relax. We want to do a little snorkeling, too. We already bought our masks and stuff, my DH sometimes has trouble getting the masks to seal tight and ends up with water inside. Sooo since he wanted to snorkel we bought our gear here and will bring it with us.
Four weeks from today!! can't wait.

dodle, I had brought our masks and fins here in town also. But when we took them with us we still had trouble getting them to seal properly. I want to snorkel also. I dont know what to do. I have not booked ANY excursions and here were are less than a month out.
Did you all read the very sad post about a fellow DISers family tragedy? It is very sad and it makes you want to hug everyone and tell them you love them. It is titled indescribable tragedy.

My DH tried his and it sealed OK. Since he is the one who has all the trouble that was what I was worried about. Mine is OK too. I haven't read that yet, but I'm going to try to find it now.
