Sept 19th,2004 revisited.....

Add one more to the list of who's on the Sept 19th Wonder!:earsgirl:
My last post described a change in our plans. Well, another change of plans, but this one is good. My sister has decided she wants to join us on our cruise! Due to the excellent Florida resident rates we were able to add her to our booking and get the Florida resident rate (she lives just north of West Palm Beach), which means we will now be in a Cat 5 stateroom (vs the cat 7 we had originally booked) all for only 32.40 more! So excited! Guess her move to North Carolina can wait just a bit longer! :Pinkbounc :hyper:

Wow! Thats a great deal! Based on our thread here, it seems that our cruise my not be full!! Yipee maybe I can get a cheap upgrade at port!

We are assigned the same room as we had last year. I was quite happy with it. If and that is a great big on we get upgraded that would be nice too, but i kinda liked the 7th floor aft. It was just a few feet out to the "secret deck,"

Not much longer now though. We worked on the schedule and it is about 8 weeks now. 4 working weeks.. Not too bad.
See yall later.

Just wondering if I am the only one who waited until the last possible day to pay the final payment? Oh, well, now I can do the "Final Payment Dance"! Can't wait to do the "Got our Docs Dance"!

Ladypoo, we are on deck 7 also! See you there!

Surely there has to be more people out there cruising these particular dates! So far only 8 (yes, 8) dis'ers have checked in. Oh well, guess we will all have plenty of elbow room & there will be no one "fighting" for pool/beach chairs (so I've read on other threads) on our trip! So far we have ladypoo, dzneprincess, kikibob, woody309, debbie1967, ericamanda01, justice&jordan'smom and yours truly on this sailing.

Anyone else out there:confused: ? We'd love to hear from you!

Counting down the days:hyper: .........

See you all soon:wave:

See ya there too.. Look forward to it. I cant wait to see the look of amazement on her face when we board Mickey's "boat". We are going to wdw for a short surprise visit this week.. It is wonderful living so close.

See yall later.

:earsgirl: My family, DH and our two boys ages 1 & 3, and me of course!! We'll be driving down the night before. Thrilled to be waiting on our first ever cruise!!!

Hello To All the September 19th Cruisers! I'm so excited! Our family of 4 (DH, DD 11 & DS 8) will be going on the Wonder! This will be our children's first time on a cruise, hubby & I's third, but first Disney Cruise.

I'm really looking forward to it. The kids are excited and hoping to find new friends in their age group.

Counting down the days!!!

:bounce:

Wow, we were on page 3! We should be yappin up a storm as we are a little over a month away! Can you believe it! I hope we have no hurricanes! Charlie was horrible! Does anyone have any ecursions booked? Is anyone thinking about upgrading at the port? If it isn't too expensive we are considering it. WE do not even have any excursions planned, or for that matter any idea of what to do! We have been in Nassau 2wce b4 and I remember it was pretty boring, because we did not plan any excursions. Has anyone gotten their docs yet? We should be getting them soon!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 Well, no docs yet, but it seems like everyone else cruising in the weeks just before us are getting theirs, so we should be doing the docs dance soon too! No, we don't have any excursions planned yet (we're open to suggestions). I was thinking maybe the historical tour (husband is big on history~loved St Augustine for that reason!), but don't know if it would be worth the $ or if we should just venture out on our own. We won't be getting an upgrade at the port as we sorta already got one. Our original cabin was for 3 (cat 7), but when Florida resident rates came out, we added my sister & for 32.00 more than what we had already paid for just three of us we were able to get a cat 5 for the 4 of us. We are excited! My biggest fear now is not being able to get into Orlando because of bad weather/hurricane (we live way down at the southern tip of TX~just before the Mexican border). We are flying in the day before though, so that should make things a little easier (I hope!). We will definitely be watching the tropics over the next few weeks! See you all real soon!:wave2:

No docs here either, but have been watching the doc dance threads with great interest! I'm waiting for ours to come now!! I can't believe it's getting sooo close!!! Wooo Hooo!!! I don't see how some of you stand to wait 200-300 and more days for the cruise! I booked ours out 50 days. I doubt we'll upgrade just because I want to spend the money on other things LOL. Now I wouldn't complain if I were given an upgrade!!

We will be driving down from NC so I am not worried about hurricanes, as far as our travel, not that I WANT one but fortunately we won't have the problems with airlines/airports! We are driving in a day ahead tho that's for sure!

This will be our first cruise, so I'm totally excited! Here's to our vacation :sunny: and no hurricanes!!!:sunny:

We are coming in the day before also. Where is everyone going to stay at? I am thinking about trying to get a room cheaply on priceline, in Cocoa Beach. Has anyone had success with priceline for the evening before our cruise?

I got the Marriot Orlando Airport for the night before (and the night we get back since we aren't flying out of Orlando until Friday) on priceline for $33.00 per night. I got 2 rooms for each night (one for us~DH, DD & I) & one for my sister & her dh (only my sister is cruising with us and her dh is driving her up from Jupiter on Saturday to meet us). I had never used priceline before & wanted to try for a room in Cocoa Beach, but even the 3* hotels had many mixed reviews (older hotels, I guess), so I figured we couldn't go wrong with any of the 3* airport hotels. They accepted my bid on the first try, too. I was really surprised and very happy to get the Marriot. Anyone started packing? I don't even know where to start!!!! Help!

:Pinkbounc Very Excited to be going on our first ever cruise & even more excited that it is DISNEY!!:bounce:

We are driving down that morning. Meeting my brother, he is taking us to the Port and then picking us up. We are going over to WDW after we get back for 3 days.
We havent even begun to pack. I do have stufff together.
We havent gotten documents yet either.
I think we are just going to stay on the ship Nassau day.
Our only excursion is going to be parasailing on CC.

We're staying pretty cheaply, using one of the motels that the passporter recommended in Cocoa Beach. I don't have a clue how to use priceline, so I didn't figure this was the time to 'learn' LOL Don't want to mess anything up! I figure I really only need it to have a bed, a shower and a toilet! ;)

We don't have any excursions planned. We are planning to make our own way in Nassau. I've got an idea of some of the things we may do, and lots of info but won't be doing any of the Disney excursions.

Did you see that someone on the I think it was the 9/25 sailing got their documents?!?!?!?! We should be getting ours very soon!!! :sunny:

I did see that someone cruising after us got their docs! No fair! LOL Is anyone else here booked with allseas?
mom2sean, if I may, without offending you, ask how much you are paying for that room in Cocoa Beach, and what hotel it is. Priceline is really not to hard, and you may be able to save alot of money. We are like you, we only need a place to sleep. Especially since the kids will not be with us this time!

Hey ladypoo. I have probably asked b4, but how far from you to the port?

I got em I got em I got em!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yippee yippeee yay!!!!!!!!!!! Anyone else?

Our chain is getting shorter and even my dh that is not a Disney fan ask me how many days left daily. I hope this is the best family vacation ever, so we can go again. We live on the west coast of Florida (only 25 miles north of the now famous Punta Gorda) and will be driving over Sunday morning as it is only about 3 hours away. Our friends that we met in Feb. at Disney will also be coming. They live in New Jersey but will be flying down to see us first. I cant believe after 80 something chains we are now down to 33. Im so excited Disney just gives you that happiness that is unexplainable. As for excursions we will do a banana boat somewhere as the kids liked that last time and in Nassau we plan to visit with my husbands uncle who is an Ambassador of the Bahamas.
