: I just received a vm from the DCL Lost and Found. There's a black Samsonite camera case that's been found. There was a remote, charger, and a memory card. The interior of the case is gray. There's mesh pockets on the outside as well. Krystina's mommy, does this sound like your case and contents? Any body else?? I posted the DCL's Lost and Found number on the discussion page (pg.27?), so, if you need the number, you'll need to scroll through.

Nope, not mine. Mine was just a lonely mp3 player (silver/gray with a blue clip). Don't guess they'll find it. Did they not find your camera case (was it just the case, or the camera too?)?

Tell your DH I said thank you! How in the world could I ever be offended by that? DD would've loved hearing it too, she LOVES Lilo. We used to think she looked like Boo when she was younger because I used to make her the little pig tails & those BIG eyes! But, she's growing up now and has lost some of her baby features.

You know I was curious about that myself. So just called him at work and I asked DH what he meant. He said that he didn't want to be un-PC and offend you or your husband if you were a different nationality than the character in the movie. I explained to him that disney has no race and he realized that he was being silly. And by the way she was too cute with her autograph book!

No, it wasn't my camera case. Luckily, our camera wasn't in the case. I don't know how or why we kept the two seperate, but we did. I started packing and thought the case would show up in our luggage, guessed wrong. All well. I'm sorry it wasn't your mp3 either Leonore.

A friend of mine forwarded a photo to me. It was a map of the United States and FLA. was surrounded by Montana, Wy, ND, and SD w/ the caption, "Enough was Enough". I tried copying the photo to paste it on our thread, but it didn't work. At least, you get the idea of the photo.

My sister (who lives in Jupiter~about 15 miles South of where Jeanne made landfall) sent me that same email last week. Atleast they can laugh about it! I actually got the same email from 2 other friends in opposite ends of our Lone Star State. Guess it's been making the rounds! If I still have it, I'll try to post it too.

Leonor, you DD does look like LILO! When were were dining at Animators, and they played the clips at the end it dawned on me that my baby looks like Pinocchio after he has been made into a REAL boy!!!!

Unlike some of you lucky ones, the only thing I CAN do is live in the past (since DH refuses to book another cruise!). I have to just keep reliving the 4 glorious nights we spent on the Wonder

Although I love that idea, who do you think I could get to fund it? I am a stay-at-home mom (by choice~although I worked up until Lilo.......uh, I mean Krystina was about 2). While Leo is not the type to keep track of every cent that I spend, I do think he would miss a couple of thousand that it would take for me & Krystina to take another cruise (keep in mind we also have to fly because I am not willing to make that drive~extreme southern tip of TX to Florida~ on our own) and he did already fund a trip to WDW this past March for just she & I (with my SIL, niece & nephew) while he stayed behind to work. I'm hoping he'll come around (he usually does ) if I just give him some time. Just send some pixie dust our way & hope for the best!

Hope you all don't think DH is a meany (guess he wouldn't have taken us on the first cruise if he was), he's just a firm believer in saving for bigger things (such as paying off MY Ford Explorer this coming May~2 years early~ and we did just move into our new house less than a year ago). Guess I'm just a Disney addict who wants to go again!

Hi All!

I think we should definately keep this thread alive! I am still having such cruise withdrawals, it really does help to come back to the boards and "re-live" the moments with everyone!

Leonor, what if you just give your husband some time and than slowly work your way into another cruise?

I had to do that with my husband. It's not that he's a scrooge with our money, but combined with the fact that he is a home-body and (an accountant) that he thinks about the various things that the money spent on vacation could buy it's hard to convince him to take a family vacation. It took me months and months to convince him to take this past trip with the kids. He really enjoyed it and actually said he wished it was longer. I've already started dropping hints about another trip, but know I just have to plan and plot and than hit him at the right time!

Oh by the way Amanda, I had to let you know that as soon as we got home our family came down with a nasty cold. Since we didn't have the opportunity to meet there's no way this one can be blamed on your "cooties."

Leonor & Amanda (dzneprincess) I think you both should be at Disney's doorsteps with your "character" look-alikes! They are sooo precious!

I'm (reluctantly) for our thread to be moved to the community boards. But, will we be notified? What if I clicked on my e-mail notification, "Sept. 19th Wonder Anyone?" and I don't get linked to our new location???? Talk about SERIOUR WITHDRAWL if I can't locate y'all-AUGHHH!

I served my daughter lots of ketchup and some eggs on our red mickey mouse plate we have w/ a matching fork. I walked up to her humming the Mickey Mouse Club song. I just got a weird look from her. How sick is that.

I'm so glad everyone is still around. We had a super time on tche cruise, but had to deal with the hurricaine issues as soon as we got home. We left the plywood up on our master bed room window since it is big and very hard to cover. I just asked him today when he was taking it down and he said "Christmas". I am supposed to be out cleaning the garage to make room for the plywood storage unit we made so we dont have to spend $300 on wood again, but am having too much fun here.

I want to cruise again, but have to pay off some bills. I know my DH and aunt want to go again, but we havent' mentioned it to each other because thats how we ended up on this cruise after doing the 3 day in march!!
