Hi ladies sorry I have been away so long. I went camping last weekend at an annual fair and had a blast. But it was soooo crowded that I didn't get to meet up with a fellow Dis'er. Turns out that a member of my upcoming cruise thread also attends the same fair. But with 18,000 people in attendance on Saturday we missed eachother by mere minutes. Oh well we will see eachother in 1 month and 3 weeks. Now I have am fighting off the beginings of a cold. My BFF has it really bad but I refuse to get sick. I have far to much to do around here before I leave for my moms next week.

So how is everyone doing?

Hi all, I've been super busy trying to prep for our upcoming cruise, keep my summer sane, and hire a new pastor. We're in the final stages, and god willing the congregation will accept this guy as our new leader, when that time comes. Its a gruelling (sp) process. I didn't think it would drag out this long. Now we are in a rush rush mode to hire some one BEFORE the school year starts. So, that's how my life has basically been. My current cruise thread is taking off. I can't keep up. We've got late night DISers and Pacific coast DISers so posting happens at all times it seems like.

I'll be sending out that reunion e-mail, PM, e-mail invite soon for this thread. It would be nice if we could start posting before I leave and let it go from there. Amanda, you leave OR when? How about a reunion month???? That would cover it wouldn't it? A reunion open house.....I'm just being a smarty pants.

I don't know what I'm going to do after the cruise and after I get through cruise withdrawl. I've got two pages of thread subscriptions and my PM box is 1/2 full. Maybe I can help plan some one else's cruise.

There's a ray of hope however. My Aunt who has a dd my dd's age is curious about DCL. It would be awesome if we could cruise together. We'll see.....some where over the rainbow, way up high..... (don't I sing perfectly on the computer?)

Amanda, get well soon. My dh has the sniffles and I'm treating him like he has a plague.

Finally. I thought that I was the only one left here.
I am doing well. Been busy too. I have been taking classes and I am starting up my own home based business. A travel agency. Scary , but exciting. Lots to do to get everything organized. I am preparing for my retirement in a few years with the PD.

My next cruise is in October. I can't wait. Just me and my BFF. I booked a cruise for next December too but thats SOOOOOOO far off.

Amanda, I think the sky is blue because it would look silly if it were red or yellow......

OMG today has been one problem after another. First there was an issue with the VA and Eric's GI bill payments. They told us we owed them money! After months of trying to get it straight and hours upon hours on the phone I was about to get an answer. This morning I was on hold and the guy comes back and says, "Ok heres what has been done. We. . . .". . . the line went dead. The dog had hit the phone jack and disconnected the call. I freaked out! I threw a stack of papers across the living room and walked out of the house and stood on the back porch until I calmed down.

Then I had a problem with getting our airline tickets for our trip in Sept. Turns out they only have a few seats avalible for every flight if you are just using miles. I was pissed! We ended up leaving on friday night, instead of Sunday, and we are retuning on sunday morning instead of Saturday night.

But I just figured it all out. I know what the real problem is. . . pms! I think I will take 2 glasses of wine and call you all in the morning!

Hey on the bright side I get 3 extra days at WDW!

I fixed part of my PMS problem last night. We went out to Noble Romans and I had pizza and breadsticks. I didn't hold back, I gobbed my breadstick in the gooey cheese. Today, I had cake for breakfast. Don't worry, I had a asian chix salad from Mc Donalds (it was really good).

Stay cool every one! or should I say, stay calm every one???? I feel like going on a PMS rampage.

Hey. I am PMS'ing too! We've been together too long, I guess. I am on a diet and have been craving Hershey bars with almonds. I haven't given in yet but its getting close. The dried apricots and Triscuits aren't doing it for me.

Cyndi, good job on controlling your urges....

Yummmm. I gave in to having a hershey's choc. bar with almonds...a week ago. That's when it all started and it (the control) went down hill from there.

I haven't lost any more weight. I'm still where I was what 3-4 months ago? *sigh*.

Do either of you know where the link to a wesite is with extra smilies? These smilies have the drinking smilie, the devil and angel smilie, there's another page of more dancing banana's I think....I can't find it. I've been looking for the link provided by the mod and I can't locate either. I'm going out of my mind trying to find something I know exists.
