Sept 19th,2004 revisited.....

:teeth: Taeja, I hate to laugh but your DD just looks so proud of herself. I remember doing the same thing to my hair and my mom was shocked. Remember the only difference between a good haircut and a bad one is two weeks. By the way she looks as adorable as ever! princess:

She IS still adorable, T. But, she did do quite a number on herself!!! The wedding was nice and we had a blast at the reception. We were laughing all night. I was very prous of myself. I solved the murder and won. My prize was a spyglass and a Sherlock Holmes Hat. Those may come in handy in my line of work. :confused3 The brunch today was delicious. I ate SOOOOOO much food. I dodn't really have to anything else after that. I am still working out at the gym 3-4 times a week and walking 4 days a week. I have lost a totsl of 12 1/2 inches but only 11 pounds. Still working on that! We leave on June 18th for 10 days in New Hampshire. I can't wait. I need a break from work. I miss my home state too. How was everyones weekend?

Hello every one, I've been doing a lot of lurking this weekend. I had a great weekend. So far, it sounds like every one had a nice weekend too. Leonor- where are you?

:Pinkbounc
But what I really want to know is HOW WAS THE CRUISE DIZNEprincess: AND LADYPOO????
:cheer2:

Kimi has had no regrets about cutting her hair. I got her dressed for church today and out of habit she went to pull up her hair as I was buttoning the back. She went to lift her hair and of course nothing was there. She said, uh-oh and giggled. *sigh* :sad2:

Hello ladies! I talked to Amanda and she said the cruise was fantastic! The double stop at CC was the best. She said that stopping at CC the first day was great and knowing that they still had the rest of the cruise to go and another stop at the island made it all the better. I guess I never realized how bitter sweet CC really is.

Anyway, I have a few more papers left to write to I will have to finish them but I wanted to jump on and say hi :wave2: and let you know that I am still alive!

Hi everyone! Amanda, glad to hear that you have a light at the end of your term paper tunnel! :thumbsup2 I am glad to hear that Amanda had a great cruise. CC is truly paradise. I wish I was there right now.......We need to have a girls reunion cruise on DCL sometime!!! :beach:

So glad you are surviving finals! I bet it felt good to go see a movie than look down writing papers. I was going to take DS to see Cars today, but the timing of shows didn't fit our schedule. I wanted to see the movie since you highly recommended it Amanda.

Speaking of Amandas, I'm so glad Amanda (our DZneprincess: ) had such a great time. I lurked on their *live* thread and have looked at their cruise thread. I think I saw several pics of DZNEprincess: in one of the other cruisers photos. Looks like every one had a great time.

I would love a *reunion* cruise. that would be fun. I requested a DCL dvd for my DH's aunt and her family. I went to the park w/ my kids and her dd and she asked about DCL. I gladly told her. I probably sounded like a bad infomercial. LOL.

I am so looking forward to a vacation. I need a break from the usual routine minus my DISing of course!

I hope you all are having a great weekend. Cyndi- how's the tropical storm behaving?

Well, I tried to post last night but the server was too busy. Looks like the tropical storm is headed directly to where I live but I don't think that we are getting anything more than rain and a little wind. Its supposed to be starting to arrive this evening. We'll see what hapens. We can definately use the rain! I hope that everyone has had a great weekend. Mine was busy. We had cookouts on both Saturday and Sunday. We leave next weekend for 10 days in New Hampshire and Canada. I really need to start packing. There is not enough time in the day

It was nice to see a movie, but what's so funny and a little ironic is that the last time Eric and I went to the theather to see a movie was to see the Incredibles. Can you say "Need to get out more often"! Actually after paying almost $20 just for ticket I think that going to the theater every two years is fine with me. But we did go to a brank spankin new theater. The seats even rock. It was nice and I will have to go there when my little sister comes out to visit next month.

Which reminds me, I know that I will take her shopping, a lot, and some other tourist type things, but does anyone have any good ideas for how to entertain a 15 y/o teenage girly girl? There are movies and eating, but what else?

shopping for sure! How about a scrapping project? Do a day spa thing together, Go to the zoo, go to bares and noble together and read books or an art gallery. Umm, I'll keep thinking....

Have a pajama night. Rent a couple of movies, order pizza, paint each others nails, give each other facials, etc.....

Wow, that sounds like fun too!

Well, tropical Storm Alberto veered north of us. We are getting heavy rain and a little wind and thats about it. I am not complaining though. We needed the rain badly. This is giving us a good soaking and hopefully curbing our wildfires. So rain, baby, rain! :umbrella:

How is every one? :listen: popcorn::

Ladypoo wrote a trip report for her 2x CC cruise. Sounds like she had a great time! Good night all.

Cyndi- glad Alberto's away from you.

Amanda01, are you seeing double yet?

All is well here. I have been cleaning and packing. We fly to NH on Sunday and return late on the 26th. My nieces and nephew are visiting. Keeping very busy!!!

I hate gas! And not the kind that Mason and Eric seem to have an endless supply of! :teeth: Airfare for my sister is outragous! My parents are taking a huge vacation to europe right before she was to come out here. So that is taking up most of their money, but we had no idea that the airfare would be so high! So now she isn't coming. She is so dissappointed. But we have promised her that no matter what she is coming out next summer. And I am going out there a week early to spend more time with her.

Our other sisters are to self involved to spend time with her, and she resents them for it, as do I. So I don't want her to think that this is the start of me saying that, "oh well maybe next year" crap! AAAHHHHHH!!!!! :furious: Stupid gas!

I think I am seeing double. :badpc:

:rotfl:

CALGON TAKE ME AWAY!!!!!

Gas in my area right now is about $2.81 a gallon. I drive about 30 miles one way to work. I feel your pain! The van that I had was getting anout 17 mpg but my new accord ha been getting between 28-30 mpg.
