Hey, did DIS forget to "SPRING FORWARD"? Mine shows 5:38 and it's currently 6:38 here in TX!

I am soooo not awake yet. I decided that I wanted the house clean. And I mean clean. And boy am I tired. Spring break is over and classes start today so I knew that I only had yesterday to get it all done. But my goodness it sure felt great to wake up and see the whole place in order.

Wow I didn't know you all were having such bad weather. I hope your ok. We just fiinished having a month where it rained everyday. That's right it rained everyday in March and so far everyday in April. Oh well, that's what they complain about here. Rain, it's either raining too much or not enough. I hope everyone has a wonderful monday. And remember were one day closer to vacation!

I'm glad that you guys are all right! I'm a pro at bad weather and it can be very scary. Especially the tornadoes. Hurricane season starts in June for us. Ugh.... Its supposed to be even worse than the past 2 years. We'll see what comes our way. We could use the rain though. Wildfires are starting to spring up here. DH and I are going to see Heart at Universal Mardis Gras Saturday night. Anyone want to join us??

Well it appears that Spring is here. I didn't need the space heater last night, I used a quilt instead of the down comforter on the bed and I woke up with my eyes and noes itching and I look like I ran through a field of pollen my face is so puffy! I love my spring look. Oh yeah, I was sneezing so much I look like one of the seven dwarfs and I sound like a man! But in all honesty I love it! I was so sick of winter this year I will gladly shell out $10 for alergy meds from Walgreens later today so I can take Mason for his first spring walk. I just hope I don't have a puppy with alergies! Can you just see it, me and my dogs sneezing down the road! What a sight!

HEY! We made it to page 200!!

Amanda: I would gladly trade your winter for our LACK OF ONE!! I don't think we are even having spring.................just straight into SUMMER!!! Yesterday was in the lower to mid 90'S and it'll pretty much be that way for the rest of this week (and beyond!). I really prefer winter because atleast you can layer on clothes and keep warm. Summer around here almost makes me want to join the nudist camp in the next town over!

OMG I just realized that I haven't had a haircut in 9 months! I really need to take a step back from school. Tomorrow, haircut! Supercuts here I come! No wonder I look like a insane woman when I wake up in the mornings!

Well that's the thing my hair grows pretty slow in the winter so I didn't notice the time since the last cut. But hey super cool news, I got a letter in the mail today from my school, I made the Presidents list. At first I thought I was in trouble, I had no idea what it was, so I called the only person I could think of, my mom. Then she explained that it was better than the Dean's list. Then I got excited, I know what the Dean's list is but the President's list I had never heard of! GO ME!

Congrat's Amanda!! That's great. It has been in the upper 80's here. I miss the cooler weather already too! Logan has spring break next week so I took the week off. We are going to Universal Studios, the beach, picnic at the springs, geocaching, fishing, and taking in a couple of movies. It will be good Mommy & son bonding time. I can't wait.

Well then let's get postin! Today I am on a mission! I am gonna "goodwill" clean the house! By that I mean I am going to clean out every that is going to goodwill and drop it off today, I hope! We have just too much that we don't need or use. I plan on working my way from the bed rooms to the kitchen. This will take all day, I just know it.

I hope I get to see when we reach 3000, but we are going out of town this weekend. It's NASCAR weekend in Ft Worth , so we are headed out there today. I won't be going to the race itself, but I'm just glad to get away for a few days! Take care and have a great weekend everyone!!

Well I have given up on the goodwill cleaning idea. I hurt my knee a few years ago and for the life of me I have no idea why but it is bugging the heck out of me this afternoon. So rather than risk making it worse I need to stay off of it. Inside I really am upset about it.

Edit to add: I just got our insurance renewal and it seems that it went down $240! So now Eric can't give me crap for, how does he put it, driving like a grandma! This has been a great week in the Rossman house!
