Leonor, I was just thinking about you. And there you are at the top. Happy to hear that you and your family have found high ground. I am trying to get ahold of family and friends in Bay City but I think they have all left, thank God. I just know that if Bay City gets hit it will destroy it. I just had to check in and see how every one is doing. I haven't seen Leonor fly like Mary Poppins over our house yet.

We are home... and I so missed Amanda!!! WAAAAAAAA!!!!!!

Once we got out of the rough seas it turned out to be a hot day in Nassau! Then a nice day at CC. It rained periodically thru the day on CC but that was enough to clear the water of people for a bit... ya know get out of the water because they might get wet? LOL This was my parents first cruise, and they had a blast, my dad is a former Navy guy, and he had a blast on the ship and was a great judge of how fast we were traveling.

The drive home was fine, ok except for the 2 whiney children in the back.... My parents will definitely go on another cruise, and I hope we will too!! DH is picking next years vacation.... so we will see what that brings. He is looking at DCL online and making comments about staterooms! (cross your fingers)

We had a blast and I am sorry it is all over! Oh and Pirate night was way cool.... although I was sound asleep before the party and fireworks! LOL

Hi everyone! I am home as well. Jen, I thought we had a DIS meet planned for 3pm at the overlook bar. I went up but no one ever showed up. We had a wonderful time, although we missed Eric and AManda tremendously. We just did not connect with anyone like we did last year. Jen, might I reccomend the 09/16/06 Magic sailing? Me and Amanda will be on it. Lenor, Taeja I snitched some extra lotion for the girls. Send me your addresses please. Jen, I hate that we missed each other again, but dont feel to bad, the cabin number I posted was night correct anyway. We had been assg to 2598 but paid for an upgrade at port for $298 from a cat 9 (we orig booked cat 12) to a cat 5 7114........I could not remember your last name, or I would have called your cabin. What dining rotation did you have? We had PTTA......late dining....

Funny enough all our stuff had said late seating, but we ended up TAAP F1 (5:45) I couldn't remember your last name either! ACK! I remembered the meet time, but couldn't remember where! My mom and dad so loved CC that she wants to book the Sept double dip..... It is scotts year to pick and he is SO not into a 7 night, so I know we won't be going on it. He's never done a 7 night but doesn't want to even try one! My parents LOVED CC and are getting quotes on that cruise!

Good morning everyone! I am glad you two had a great time. 8 months and 3 weeks until my next cruise ( but its not on DCL ) We'll be waiting for some pictures!!! Food & Wine festival for DH and me next week! Fun, fun! I am still working on that one. Leonor, are you out there? Did you avoid Rita? Amanda, my nieces loved the shampp and lotion from DCL. Our room steward gave me enough to last them a year! Good stuff! Its been a beautiful day here in Florida! Nice change from a week filled with rain. Went shopping this weekend. Spent lots of $$$$. Shoes! Purses! New clothes! Yippee!

You know what? I should've cruised this year before my perscription motion sickness patches expired earlier this year (May). Duh! Can you hear me banging my head on the table?

I just looked at a picture of CC (its not recent), Jennifer and Amanda, what did CC look like this time compared to last year? Is it lush and green? Are there flowering plants? If you have pics, please post them.

It was very green and I saw lots of pretty flowers! Hibiscus, some pretty yellow ones that were the size of my palm, and some teeny tiny little red flowers. I will have to boot up my laptop and post some of those. If you remember the wooden Frances sign, it is now gone, and the catwalk that went from the dock to the outer mooring posts that was gone has now been replaced. It was very pretty and nice to see the big difference between last year and this year!
