WOW! I've seen posters from both my TA cruises! COOL! How could I NOT go on this one, especially since I have two years to save! I'll have two in college by then...two less to pay f..errr... take...bummer.

BTW, it was not that great gaining an hour. I have read the excitement on another thread. I fell asleep early every night, so dancing and comedians, which I love, just didn't have the same appeal. zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz It was funny seeing everyone up at 6am on vacation!

Not yet--thanks for keeping us in mind though The future boss (who did at least let us know he wants Dave last Monday ) was in Tokyo all last week so couldn't work on any of the paperwork until this week. I sure hope we see something sooner rather than later--my nerves can't take much more waiting

Help - can anyone give me any information on the cheapest airline for one way flights from Orlando to the UK. I have been looking at quotes and the one-way flights seem a lot more expensive than the round trip fares. I have been quoted between £700 and £900 per person for a one way flight.
Th flight would be as much as the cruise itself - which is ridiculous!

Also is it possible to book a round trip but only use the flight in the one direction?

Yes, you can use the initial flight and not take the return. As a courtesy, you should call the airline (maybe a day or two before?) and let them know you won't be on the flight, so they can offer up the seats to stand-by passengers.

If this company is anything like ours, the paperwork takes the longest. Glad to hear that they at least told him that they want him!!

We found BA was the cheapest last year. It was expensive (I think £500) one way! You can only do a round trip if it starts with the Orlando to UK leg and we found that this was more expensive than the one way flight. Also wasn't sure if there would be issues with being a non-US citizen and having a flight that returns to the US

Pam wants to come on this cruise too, and will either be my roommate (big sister has first right of refusal) or we'll bunk her up with another pal. Now just waiting to hear from Linda and Pat...who HAVE booked, but may not have shared that info with the DH's yet...

Oh it will, I am sure We had dinner with an out of town friend who works in finance in the company and was in town on business. He says he would not be surprised if we do not have official paperwork or numbers until mid January (I am sooo not gonna handle that well) and they want Dave t o start in the position February first so basically it is plan on moving and do as much as we can and then have a serious whirlwind the last two weeks

My DF and I just got back from seeing Bolt! It was really cute and Rhino the hamster really steals the show!!!

Thanks for sharing! My kids can't wait to see that movie. We were planning to see it on Thanksgiving, but now I have to cook. . . maybe Friday . . . I can't wait to see the hamster . .LOL

Howdy everyone,
I thought i'd better pop in and say hello. so you wouldnt forget who I was
I have been busy since our mini meet with Angie and Dennis.

We came home to a furnace that wasnt working Even the neighbors heard it squealing while we were gone.
Of course it was 32 degrees last night.

Luckily we have a small electric heater to help. DH called a repair man today and he got here about noon and had a new motor installed in 30 minutes I have heat again!!

I spent the rest of the day sorting FE gifts for next weeks cruise and checking my lists and organizing some stuff.

Hope everyone here had a good Monday.
I will be able to keep up better after my cruise when I'm not so busy.

Totaly angelic, globespan are dfinatly the best, but only from scotland I think, depends where in the uk.

Welcome...we too are booked on both the EB and WB to "hedge our bets"...we waiting to see how some issues here play out...jobs, time off work, time off school, etc, etc. Both groups of peeps are great!
We are leaning more to this one, because of weather and the extra ports.

Great to hear from you again.....we have alot of time to "convert" you to the Pirate Way! ARRGGHHH! Actually, I'm not a huge pirate fan, I've only see POC one time! My DD is the one who wants to walk the plank and loves to say "me hearties."
