But if we're stateside, things should work out.

Hey that is the room we always stay in but missed it this morning. If you change rooms or back out will you PM me so I can switch to that room? Currently we are 6062 so if you stay in that room, we are neighbors!!!!

OK - adding to the cruise list:
ME - Shirley
DH - Bobby
DS - Trenton will be 12
DD - Emily will be 7
room 6062

I made several for the PC Repo. They looked like this. Don't know why I don't have a picture of mine.

They really are great! I have ours hanging in the bedroom - told DH I want him to use it as my Christmas stocking this year

How cool to see the list continuing to grow! I see by the clock that the cruise line offices closed in 6 minutes, and I know the agents must be very glad. And it's great to see all the glad people here on the DIS who snared this cruise...the price is unbelievable considering that we'll be well fed and entertained for two whole weeks, not to mention the ports. It's gonna be a blast.

Wow for 2 that's so expensive!
I'm on hold with TA who is talking to them now. i couldn't added it to the booking myself since it was made thru my TA. we'll see what they say... I'd rather fly in the day of than fly in late the night before and pay that much (or more for our family of 5) for a hotel night!

thanks- I decided I'd take your advice on that and I'm on hold with TA working on adding flight.

Okay good to know. I figured they can't hold the ship HOWEVER long- that depending on how long you delay was that there'd be no way they'd hold the ship that long- but good to know that there is some guarantees that they'll get you on next port or something like that. I'd hate for that to happen though!

Hey Shelley - good to 'see' you here

I would think that if you were to choose to fly in early, you would be responsible for the hotel costs. But if DCL did it, they should pick up the cost. I'm thinking about adding air now, then pricing it out on my own as we get closer.

Hi All,
I am popping in to add us officially to the list (I think Erik may have mentioend already that we would be booking). We have 2 gty 11s for less than the dummy date pricing was (for one week 12/05/08)--how cool is that?!
We are: Hadley (that's me), Dave (my awesome DH) and DD Marika (who will be 13 by the time we sail--gasp!) and DS Rio (he'll be 11)
I look forward to getting to know you all over the next two years (man that is a loooong time).

Hi all!

Sounds like you all know each other... hope there is room for 2 more! :goodvibes

Hubby and I were in Orlando this morning, and we got up at 7:45 this morning to book the cruise. Bless his heart, my late sleeper husband dialed the regular DCL # on his cell, and I dialed the CC # for DCL on my cell, and we played the game to see who got answered first.

He never wound up getting through on the reg line. I finally got a ring on the CC # at about 8:10 and was on hold for 15 minutes.

We were THRILLED to get one of the midship Cat 3s. I was shocked that one was still available just before 8:30. Plus, I must say that we are only paying about $900 more for this 2-week cruise than we did for a regular 7-night Western just this May. We were also thrilled with the price! :thumbsup2

Here are our stats. I will also email the group list:

DIS Name AlexandNessa
First names of those attending Mike & Jodie
Ages of Kids -- No kiddos.
How many cruises 8, 2 of which were on Disney + 2 more in 2009 (one Disney, one HAL)
Where you are from New Jersey
Celebrating anything special? 5-year anniversary
Stateroom # (especially important for gift giving ) 8032
A Photo: Hmmmmm, never one not to be able to laugh at ourselves, I will post this one for now, and find a more appropriate one for the website:

Looking forward to chatting with everyone!

hey there- good to 'see' you too! :)

Well I got the airfare added on and they gave me the CHOICE. Either just the airfare... or to fly in the night before and then the price goes up for the amount of the hotel. The price with just airfare had me flying in that day I guess flying all night. I dunno. LOL

Howdy all!

We're officially in! We're very excited as this is only our second cruise. Looks like we got some amazing people already, can't wait get to know everyone and have some fun in 2010!

I'll be sure to send our info to the roll call later :goodvibes

DH and I are booked also! We were lucky enough to get one of the last cat. 11 rooms available! Couldn't pass up this deal! Looking forward to chatting with everyone!

Yea! Vicki and Tom are in! You will be on every disney cruise that I've been on now. I'm stalking you! hahahaha...want to get in on a car to the airport with us?

I'm so scared!:laughing::laughing:

We're always interested in sharing rides to the airport with you. We've got a little time to plan that, I think. This wait is going to be excrutiating:goodvibes

Too much time on my hands now. I've been told tonight to take a breath and not do anything until it's time to book the airfare...next OCTOBER! the waiting will be painful!

We are in!!!!! GTY 11. which is what we were in for the last TA. Cant wait to meet up with the lot of you guys!!!!!

I've been lurking and checking my email every 10 minutes to see if there was any word from the TA - she just got back to me - we are in cabin #6641!

YAY and welcome aboard cruisers!

We are officially booked. My sister Annette(acourtwdw) and I. We've wanted to do this since the Magic made her first sailing. Can wait.

:welcome: Aboard Mates

 Or just a suggestion, begging the pardon of the Captain and the supreme knowledge & experience he brings to the table in the category of logos and pirate-wear, would it be possible to alter the logos (this & the Med) so that they can't be confused with the EBPC logo we've already had? I mean, even the 3 POTC movies had 3 different pirate skulls: swords, flames, & bones...

So hopefully nobody will make me walk the plank for suggesting such a thing, but better now than before anybody actually starts ordering magnets, etc - and that could be soon! :rotfl:

Okay, so now that the "day of booking" saga is over, maybe I can get back to job hunting tomorrow... :scared:

I hope I don't get a walk on the plank too- but I kinda agree with you. something slightly different might be nice. Or maybe ONE logo for both cruises also- that way we can get a shirt for both cruises if we want? I like the designs you showed too.
But if it's gonna look the same- I'm thinking I'll just let Jeff wear his repo one he already has and no one will really notice unless they like look really close and READ his shirt- which I doubt. LOL Any pictures (like group or something) he can just cross his arms to cover the writing that's different. hahahaha

Nope , wont be changing the Logo ... The whole Idea about keeping it the same but with Different writing is that we are continuing our Journey as Pirates ...and those that are New finaly get to be apart of our logo . Changing to the Torches or Swords wouldnt make much sense since most jolly rogers involve the skull and crossbones and thats why It was used in the third Movie ... Plus the website has been set , the cruise banners have been added to alot of peoples signatures and this was something that was done and decided over 57 pages ago , cant help it if you guys are johnny come lately's :lmao: :lmao: You know I love you both

I just went to the website and saw the roll call pictures. What a surprise to see you and your family!!

I am your husband's aunt, and my husband and I booked this cruise today, along with Jane and Rocky. We are all also in Cat 11, and at late seating.

What a small world....
