I just went to the website and saw the roll call pictures. What a surprise to see you and your family!!

I am your husband's aunt, and my husband and I booked this cruise today, along with Jane and Rocky. We are all also in Cat 11, and at late seating.

What a small world....

I really wish you were kidding. This could be just about the only thing that could ruin this vacation right now!

Hey Shelley - good to 'see' you here

Yay, Monica - good to see everybody!! Our meditating over the wine on Sunday in Napa worked!!

I hope I don't get a walk on the plank too- but I kinda agree with you. something slightly different might be nice. Or maybe ONE logo for both cruises also- that way we can get a shirt for both cruises if we want? I like the designs you showed too.
But if it's gonna look the same- I'm thinking I'll just let Jeff wear his repo one he already has and no one will really notice unless they like look really close and READ his shirt- which I doubt. LOL Any pictures (like group or something) he can just cross his arms to cover the writing that's different. hahahaha

Hey Shelley, guess we'll be ordering stickers with "Med" and "Transatlantic" on them to wear on our PC shirts so we'll blend in, huh? pirate:

Nope , wont be changing the Logo ... The whole Idea about keeping it the same but with Different writing is that we are continuing our Journey as Pirates ...and those that are New finaly get to be apart of our logo . Changing to the Torches or Swords wouldnt make much sense since most jolly rogers involve the skull and crossbones and thats why It was used in the third Movie ... Plus the website has been set , the cruise banners have been added to alot of peoples signatures and this was something that was done and decided over 57 pages ago , cant help it if you guys are johnny come lately's :lmao: :lmao: You know I love you both

"Johnny come lately's?" I was post #10 on this thread! Guess I'm just such a small wench that you overlooked me, right? :rotfl: I only waited to bring it up because I didn't want to cause a mutiny early on, Cap'n.

I've been lurking and checking my email every 10 minutes to see if there was any word from the TA - she just got back to me - we are in cabin #6641!

YAY and welcome aboard cruisers!

:woohoo: Hi Paula!

I just called DCL regarding airfare. It would be $1,038.22 from Washington, DC. I think that is a little high! DCL said I could add the airfare at anytime but I am sure if I wait the price will go up. I booked it. I feel if there is any delay it would be up to Disney to get me to the ship. I am also leaving on the 16th so I will have one full day in Barcelona before boarding the ship. Did anyone book hotel reservations yet? Disney is using two hotels Le Meridian and AB Skipper. Has anyone stayed at either place?

Karen

Don't forget that there are other options out there and that a taxi ride in a cab or van is much cheaper than the price of the transfers. Depending on where you stay - its relatively cheap. And the taxis were allowed to drop you right where the entrance to the building was.

OH! FOR SECRET MICKEY PARTICIPANTS:

Pam AKA Disney Sweetie will be more than happy to head that committee up! :rolleyes1 :lmao: :rotfl2: :rolleyes1 :rolleyes1

 Pam! :teeth:

I'd offer to help but Steve said if I took anything on that I would be giving up one of my cruises and possibly Peru so you know I help if I could - Sorry! :rolleyes1

OH CPT JACK! Ye be proud of me - I 'membered how to update my logos. ::yes:: Yes sirree - all by my little lonesome. You proud of me?

Oh yeah - DH got called by some of your local event planners - you all must be hurting a bit too as they are gracing us with a 2 bedroom suite from 12/26 - 1/4. That's 2 weekends - too bad your going to be in WDW! In the meantime DH says he doesn't want to jeapardize the offer and so we will not be going up to your area until then. :sad1:

eek... yeah those are good reasons. Didn't think about that.

LOL that might be all we can afford to do!!! :lmao: Well maybe this time I'LL get the shirt to match everyone and Jeff can just figure out what to do with his old pirate cruise shirt. I really don't care and I'm betting he won't either. LOL

DH and I are booked also! We were lucky enough to get one of the last cat. 11 rooms available! Couldn't pass up this deal! Looking forward to chatting with everyone!

the cat 11 wasnt showing yesterday when i got home from work. waited a half hour and it showed up. actually i think at tier 1. 999 a person for 2 people plus taxes and fuel surcharge came to 2,345.46. no insurance or transportation. i will add transportation later.went on dcl site 10 minutes ago cat 11 is showing up.

Tier one must have been lower than that because we came in at $2101 per cabing with two in a cabin gty 11. I LOVE our travel agent:love: That is without transfers or air or insurance though so perhaps that is where the difference lies.

I do think I will know half the ship:rotfl: Hi fellow double dippers! Brooklyn, it will be fun crossing the Atlantic with you and your lovely daughters again. I am guessing you will not be hauling lovely chocolate bars to Barcelona in your luggage for us?!

Whoever designed the website--it is great--thanks. So, here I am new and asking favours already . . .I am looking at all those lovely flags along the top of the spage and hoping that at some point somone much more computer savvy than I will make them all into a nice, printable graphic and add it to the graphics and manets section;) Just sayin':rolleyes1

i guess i didnt get tier 1 than. had to work a double night time than day work didnt get home until 2:30 yesterday eastern time.

Hi all! just booked; a cat 10- that's all that was left unless I wanted to spend more $ LOL; we are 2 adults and the base price was 3213 we took the air and ins for $ total of 5007.26 I didn't think that was too bad.:confused3 anyway-can't wait! I had to wait until today as DH got paid!:goodvibes

You still got an amazing price though didn't you? I prices online and got what you got--but our TA (who we found thanks to Erik and Jason) was on the phone right away and she is really good at these things. I am thrilled to pieces with the pricing overall (it is MUCH less than the initial offering prices for the TAs in 2005--though the came down to almost free by the time all was said and done for the May repo:lmao: ). Anyway, I did not mean to offend or say your price isn't great--I was just adding info for those who like to keep track of what the tiered pricing is (not me--I just get the rates I get and hope they work for me and that is that!).

so 897 a piece for air is pretty good. in 2007 i was on the aug repo it was 905 a piece for air. and dcl gave me really great flights phl to bcn nonstop, and mco to phl nonstop at really great times.

im in for the 24 night just booked the 10 night with points. i was just thinking is this cruise selling better than the 07 aug repo. no cat 11 is showing up for sale now. in 2007 i booked a cat 11 6 months after booking opened up.i will think that this one will be harder since its school time.

OK, all or UK Pirates pirate: , I have a question.

We're set for the Renaissance Chancery Court for a two-day pre-nite. A couple of things.

What is a Must See in London? Big Ben is on our list. want to get an authentic Bobby Helmet for collection, The Palace Guards, and the Towers.
What would do and what beer would/do you drink?

Hey Everybody - good "morning after"! We got our cabin late last night and it is cabin 2130. We are very excited because we have family on one side of us and very good friends on the other so all 3 reservations worked well. I will get them to sign on soon.

Welcome to everyone that is new. Hadley - good to see you!!!!:grouphug: Hopefully today will be a lot calmer for everyone. It was stressful yesterday. I don't know how to add the banners and all that stuff so I hope Cpt. Jack doesn't get mad at me!!!:sad1:
