I can see the magnet design - I love it!
How do you make this into a magnet? Can you buy magnetic paper that goes through a printer?
I had never made magnets before our Med cruise. I do not trust the magnetic paper with our temperamental printer and the sticky magnetic tape does never seem to stick for very long. Before our Med cruise, some people on the cruise meet thread recommended a Xyron. The Xyron is a cold laminating system for which you can get various cartridges. They have one that is laminate on the front and magnetic on the bag. This worked out fantastically well. I had the graphics that I wanted printed from an online photo printing site and then used the Xyron to turn them into magnets. It was so easy and I had great fun decorating my door.
Hi everyone.DH and I are on WBTA. Arriving in Barcelona on Sep 15. Looking for suggestions on how to get from airport to Hilton Diagonal Mar Barcelona.
Looking forward to meeting everyone!
Sandy

on board.
We are staying at SSR for 4 nights after the cruise, normally we buy a 14 day ultimate park hopper but with only 4 days this year we looked at a 4 day pass, $277 so then we looked at an AP, $414 with DVC discount

So we have ordered two APs and we will get next years trip out of them Dont know yet about
MNSSHP as we have done a few so might give it a miss this year, F&W is a must though
I did this last year. We were at WDW for 9 nights last year and knew that we would stay for at least two nights after the cruise this year so it worked out a lot cheaper to get the DVC annual pass. Now that we are staying for 5 nights, this is even better value.
I waited to join this cruise meet thread until we were PIF which happened today. We signed up for this cruise way back on opening day Oct. 2008, but didn't want to jinx anything by writing about it too soon. On this cruise it will be myself, DH, DD-13, DD-9. We are beyond excited to take this trip. My DH and I have travelled before, but we have never done anything like this as a family. See you in Barcelona!

on board.
I don't think the pillows were feather pillows .... I had my best ever nights' sleep on the Disney Magic. Beds and pillows were very comfortable. I hate feather pillows too .... and we had them in Manchester.
Corinna is back from her cruise .....
WELCOME HOME CORINNA
Looking forward to all the details

Thanks for the welcome back.
Someone asked for a photo, so I had DH take one... It isn't real easy to see Beccas costume, and it was itching her legs so she kept her pants on... Must go and find tights for her to wear onboard so she doesn't get too itchy - otherwise she will refuse to wear it... (Any suggestions on how to soften the heck out of a costume?)
Those costumes are wonderful.
DH and I want to try the Pelican Plunge on CC. Anyone else?
I am desperate to try it, but DH is not keen. I think I have to sent him to Serenity Bay while I have a go on the slides and then join him later.
Now that was down right crule!!!!
My wisdom is.... take a bite , run a mile, take a bite... RUN!!!
BTW.....
DCL called, and I asked them again about the time at CC..
Looks like we can dock
We'll be getting in at 10am and leave at 5pm. Things are looking up!
Things keep going our way, we'll be arriving at 5am and leave at midnight
Ann
That is great news.
Hi Everybody! I haven't been on the boards because we cancelled the trip back in January, but we rebooked and so excited! It is just my DD (13) and I. My DH couldn't get that much time off, that is why we originally cancelled but we decided just the two of us will go because we were so excited to read about the EB TA. I love the Cinco de Mayo table and Becca's outfit and beyond that I have not read, but I am sure a lot is happening.
We have our travel through Disney so we do not arrive in Barcelona until Saturday morning. I would like to be on the FE list again, but if that is too late, I understand. I am going to go back to Page 1 and read the first thread with all the info. I look forward to meeting everyone!!!!

back.

My waitlist came through!!!
So now we have our villa for two nights after the cruise.
We can now purchase our MNSSHP tickets for Sunday. We can decide where to eat Saturday and Sunday. We can start looking for Southwest flights to go on sale to return home.
This was the last unknown. Now we have a villa at the Boardwalk. I've never stayed there so it goes along in my idea of staying at all of the DVC resorts.
We can boat or walk to EPCOT on Saturday. Eat ourselves crazy. Ride Soarin' a couple of times. See Captain EO.

I wanna do breakfast at Cat Cora's place. Also want to try Jellyrolls. Also want to go to Kimonas sushi bar.
I want to get coffee in the morning and take some panoramic photos of the boardwalk area in the early sunlight. I want to walk across the little bridge and get ice cream from Beaches and Cream.
I want to watch the first half of the Eagles/Redskins game at the ESPN club.
I want to go to the party!! I wanna see the Boo To You parade! I wanna see the headless horseman. I wanna get candy!
I should cheer up shouldn't I???
Congratulations on your waitlist coming through. I promised myself to never waitlist as I know how much stress and misery this can cause, but when I tried to make my reservations at 7 months out, I could not get the booking category I wanted at Bay Lake Tower (Bay Lake View) for the first two nights. So I booked the Magic Kingdom view and the cast member talked me into waitlisting the nights for Bay Lake View. Within 24 hours this had confirmed.
I purchased my tix with the discount and the discount is about $5. Not much but I was happy to get some discount.
Thanks, I see a phone call to Member Services in the not too distant future.
I wish I was quite so organized. Well, I have part of my gift figured out now and actually just ordered it, but this is just a bit of fun. I really have to get my thinking caps on for my main gift. I have got one or two ideas, but nothing specific yet.

ok
I just wanted to ask, do you think they will have big taxis at the airport?
What about public transport.
How was you journey after all the planning to get to barcelona?
I did not really check at the airport, but I would assume so. As far as public transport is concerned, you can either take the number 46 bus, which is supposed to run every 30 minutes and goes to Plaza de Espana. This cost EUR1.35 per person. We will be taking the train to Barcelona Sants (to drop off our suitcases) which costs EUR2.80 per person. From Sants you are then onto the Metro and suburban train network.
Our journey was fantastic and everything worked like clockwork. We had great fun. Of course, when we got back to Manchester, the first thing we heard was that a train was cancelled. We had used trains extensively in France, Spain and Italy (in ports of call) and they all operated exactly to time, but as soon as we get back, the trains no longer work.
Corinna - I think we need to all employ you to come around and pack for the cruise!
My DH would fall off his chair if he read this. He thinks that I always hopelessly overpack.
