For all of those guy's from the UK worried about space for all your clothing, surely the simple answer is just to pack one formal dress

and just keep "GOK-ing" it"" :rotfl:

I realise that reference will be lost on almost everyone... (SORRY)

"Gok" is a famous TV "fashion stylist" here in the UK, he takes a dress that costs £1 and rips rouches and embelishes it then displays it on a catwalk along side dresses that costs thousands!!

Maybe i'll pack him in my carry on.

I love GOK, he is just gorgeous! He could buy our complete cruise wardrobe in one carry on, must remember to accessorise! I want to be GOKed! :goodvibes

Hi Everyone,

So, I have-
littledisneylovers - Hayley and Terry (that's us)
tinker1bell - Terry
orlandothebeagle - Lynne and Len
birkner - John and Noel
bareacuda - Ann and Howard

Anyone else, come on people, when else can you go to a restaurant in your PJ's with messy hair and morning breath? PM me if you want to come!:goodvibes

So, everyone that cares - quick weigh in!
25 actual fish extenders, or 25 people?
keep the kids together? Spread them out?

Seriously, the easiest thing is 25 actual FE's and letting the kids fall where they will. But I am willing to do whatever!

I just want September to get here!!! I am ready to do a FE exchange, Secret Mickey, candy swap and a ladies tea all while wearing my DIS meet t-shirt and my lanyard...

I am very jealous of Mr Woody right now!!! I wanna go too!!!:rotfl:

Sue Im happy to go with what ever suites you! I think the 25 FE seems like a good option and as said let the kids fall wherever.

Does anyoine know if you can bring candy that is home made over seas and on the ship? I was thinking about making Georgia Pralines - but if it is going to cause a problem, I will look to buy them made and individually wrapped...

Not sure about on to the ship but it may be best to go for wrapped just incase?

Hello all!

The last time I checked in was.....oh my, it's been MONTHS! Ha Ha, hey, I have a toddler, what else can I say?

So I do have a couple of questions, and as per my previously stated toddler distraction, I am looking for the cliff notes to bring me up to date. When last I logged in, I think someone else was running the website and then it was gone. I have added our information but want to make sure we are on the list for lanyards and the Fish exchange. I will be more than glad to help out the lanyard team if they need any. I have done them in the past for a couple of other cruised and know how much work they are.
I don't understand the questions regarding "25 fish extenders and kids"??

I am thrilled to be back on the Magic for another transatlantic cruise. I even see a few old friends....Hey Ann and Albert.....LUNCH is on us this time!

Thanks!!
Cynthia

Cynthia, good start is post 7 on page 1. I have a list of the activities we've come up with. Also Lanyards Eric & Jason are still keeping names so email them to confirm - check post 1. Also I know they were asking a few weeks back for more volunteers for the lanyard team so please contact them!

Anyway the FE is that we're thinking because of luggage restraints we kind of decided it was best to split into groups for the FE's. Sue is going to split us into groups of around 25 but as yet we still haven't decided whether this is 25 people or 25 FE's.

That would be an ideal solution .... I wish there was a "GOK's Guide to Cruising"
I am going to try hard NOT to overpack but I am not that hopeful.

My dog:laughing:
My dogs makes such an noise I am sure they would be too scared to take anything! ESP the dog. But if they took the beagle boy I suspect he would be back within the hour.

LOL I will be doing this! ACCESSORIES ARE MY FRIEND!

Hands up who loves GOK!!!! ME MEMEMEMEMEMEME

Anyway if we aren't careful well be back on to the clothes exchange idea.

Below (hopefully if you can see it ;)) is the candy swap tentative groupings.

I didn't have enough people for a "Candy Only" group so for the couple of people that indicated that was their preference, I've put you into one of the "Chocolate or Candy" groups - I hope this is ok but please let me know if you don't want to continue playing.

Could I ask everyone playing to please check that I have the correct number of players in your stateroom please?

Also if you still would like to play, I'm happy to keep taking names and numbers.

Nearer sailing time, I will include stateroom numbers also and updated groupings so please do not assume this set in concrete.

WOW .... this is brilliant. Thanks Paula :goodvibes:goodvibes Now all I have to go is work out what we will bring :thumbsup2

Last weeks question:

Looks like this weeks question was “fitting” for the week. All this talk about diets, candy/chocolate swaps:goodvibes. Hopefully even if I get as big as Spaceship Earth I will till fit into my clothes. Now back to our regularly scheduled post.

In Diameter which is bigger Spaceship Earth or the Aquarium area of Living Seas?

Answer: Living Seas Aquarium. Spaceship Earth will fit inside the aquarium with room to spare. You don’t appreciate the size of the Aquarium area until you do one of the backstage tours. Candida surprised me with a dive at Living Seas a couple years ago. It is one of the few tours you truly become part of the show. Interacting with guest sitting at Coral Reef Restaurant while you are diving is fun.:cool1:

So, the rankings are:
Ann (Bareacuda) 5
Stephanie (Steffy) 3
Sarah (Gismo1554) 4.5
Angie (Mrs Mork) 4
Sarah (Totallyangelic) 8
Thecooksluvdisney 2.5
Sue (Sukraft) 4
Amanda (Acourtwdw2) 1
TheDisneyGirl02 1
Heather (GOS) 4
Dolphingirl47 1
KellyJeanDVC 1

This weeks question:

From Pirates of the Caribbean.
What is the reason that a second bucket of water is thrown on Gibbs?

PM answers please.

Jon

This is great Paula. If you want to balance out you numbers you can add my DW. She won't go for the chocolate (I'll have that covered) but she will partake in some candy.

We are standing on the edge of another slippry slope. Who is going to start down this path again?

It won't be me because I just don't look good in evening gowns :lmao:

i'm sure someone has already mentioned this but October hours are now up for all of those spending a few days at WDW at the end of the cruise.

Now i just need to know those pesky MNSSHP hours and HHN hours and i can really get organised.

Actually no one had! I'm going to look now.

I'd guess MNSSHP is going to be on the nights that we have a 7pm close of Magic Kingdom

Sarah (TotallyAngelic) if you are still doing MK on the Saturday its open until 11pm! Best day to go looking at times

Seems MNSSHP hours don't come out for a few weeks, but looking around the web it seems the rumoured dates for October based on park hours are.

October: 1, 3, 7, 8, 11, 12, 14, 17, 19, 21, 22, 24, 26, 28, 29 & 31

Yes i know i won't make the 1st we'll all still be out a sea :)

But i'm certainly going to try to make one of the nights. I never go to WDW in October so i'm going to grab a chance to see the Halloween party this time.

SW

Oh my 7pm guess was good if these are right as hadn't noticed people were rumouring this anywhere honest.

The only one I think may not be right is the 7th as theyve got AM Extra Magic Hours so not sure if they would then be open late too but hey who knows right? I think we may not bother this year!

He is so annoying. Have you read the articles that say he is horrible when the cameras stop rolling?
I bought a dress last week that only cost a pound:goodvibes
