The tequilla was horrible.

Having grown up in southern California and basically just using tequila for effect:scared1:, I thought all of them were pretty much the same (except for the ones with the worms in the bottles!).

We did the tequila and margarita tasting on the Magic and discovered the wonderful variety. I agree that the rot gut like J.C. Gold (don't know if I can use the name here) is horrible. However, some of the better ones, like reposado, are actually quite nice for sipping. Too expensive for mixing, though; for mixes I stick with Patron Silver. And I always add a floater of Grand Marnier to my Margaritas!:woohoo:

Are you a member of the DVC Corinna? I am really going to have to start looking into this to see if it is worth it for us. I am hoping to go to the West Coast in 2012 .... it will be our 10th Wedding Anniversary and I would love to do the ABD Backstage Magic Tour.

Michele and I are DVC members. I'd be happy to share the pluses (lots) and minuses (some).

Back from a fun filled week with first DD and then her family as they are on spring break

We are staying at the Renaissance Marriott from Wed to Friday. We move to Le Meridien on Friday.

Shall we have a breakfast of dinner get together there also?

:surfweb:

We are just there for one night on Friday. It will probably depend on how the kids are doing. I'm sure not sure how we'll do with the flight. The longest one they've ever done is Hawaii. Plus, with the time change I don't want to commit to anything. We'll have to be a last minute decision. Sorry! If we didn't have the kids we'd be in for sure!!

have you tried vanilla and lemon?

The lemon ones are the best by far :goodvibes

This is so much fun, Jon!! :dance3:

I agree .... it's also making me think ! And is good preparation for any Disney Trivia quizzes on board :rotfl:

That would be great as I am really sure I understand it at all and I have always been wary of timeshare .... but so many people seem to rave about it so I thought I should investigate.

We understand perfectly as we have six GK's. Just give us a call even if it is last minute.

Were you in SF this past week? It was beautiful - yesterday was crazy warm in the city. Love the pics, now and then I forget to enjoy the city I live in.

I'm flying in on Wednesday afternoon. I won't really get to see the city because I have to drive to Monterey for a meeting on Thursday, then back to San Francisco Thursday night for a Friday morning flight out!

We too have always been very leary of timeshares. We won't even go to TS presentations......But....Like many DVC folks we will tell you that our ONLY regret is not buying sooner and not being able to afford even more points!! :thumbsup2 We just treated our DD and her DH to a week at BCV for their 10th anniversary and in Sept we will be gifting 5 nights to a dear friend's DGD for a wedding gift. We would NEVER be able to afford to gift those wonderful memories for them out of pocket. And there is still points left for us! :thumbsup2 We would be more than happy to share with you. Beware though, once you get us started talking about DVC you will have a hard time shutting us up!!

But then you will be in Monterey!!!! That is absolutely not a bad thing!!
