Good day everyone. I hope to be around a little more and get to know some of you.

I am excited to see the shore excursions are up. It really help thrust one into the next level of planning.

Who is organizing the group events...ie the fish extender exchange. I have been getting ours done. I have some other ideas, but am hoping to get a rough number of participants.

Has anyone ever stayed at the Holiday Inn Express Barcelona City? I have found a very good rate there, and on a map it looks to be close to the port as well as the Los Rambles area.

I looked at this hotel, the pricing was great. I liked the modern decor. My only concern was being closer to the others that I am cruising with.

Guessing that you want to be closer... although it could be that you want some space...

We are hoping it is central enough that we can go and explore, find transportation, etc. We will avoid renting a car, we will, we will, we will...

I still need to take care of shipping a box... no one seems to know about that... Hopefully the HI will accept one for us... If not, how will I ever get all my FE gifts to Spain AND avoind excess luggage charges... I am not sure that there is enough Pixie Dust for that...

The HI express was close to the underground, but my boss said she stayed in the same area and it really wasn't walkable to the Las Rambles. She did like the area.

The list however could well be out of date as we have had some people jump ship. The website organiser Brooklyn has also been awol for a while, so things are a little bit up in the air.

We are organising a Secret Mickey exchange, which I have taken over since the original organiser has now jumped ship. The details of this are here:

For those of you who are still looking for accommodation, We've booked a new hotel that doesn't actually open until next month, so I figure it will be new and clean at the very least.

Well I think "Brooklyn" (Dis name) on here is organising it but she hasn't been on for a little while. Hopefully in the New Year we will see a bit more of her.

I do think that you may not be able to ship to the boat. Unlike shipping internally, shipping internationally you are going to have to go through customs with the box. This means you are likely to have to go and collect the box from somewhere rather than have it delivered to the boat.
