OK so I had worked out that multi-quote option and was all down with that then come back to work and find.... I don't have the button on the forum when in work to do it! ARG! Sorry all looks like you may have individual quotes when I'm in work (although I will try to group them like I did today so some are together just takes too long to do all). It's cause of our weird webscense thing we have here. It's the same way I can see some of the pictures posted while others don't show! Very weird

Anyway morning to everyone. Hope everyone's OK today! It's my first day back in work and guess what, I have no work to do! There's a surprise right? It's becoming a joke now!

No work isnt always a bad thing, at least you can surf the web!!

You asked someone else, but, we rode the new Toy Story Mania ride when we there 3 weeks ago, it was pretty awesome and the girls loved it!

Back from Disney World! The crowds were overwhelming, but I know how to do the parks, and we waited no longer than maybe 40 minutes, more like 30 for any ride, most were done with fast passes or at the right time, even Dumbo, and the waits were nothing! We went to Blizzard Beach twice and to the beach on Sunday, so we got to see the Wonder sail away at Jetty park. Very cool! We spent Christmas day in the hotel, a posh Marriott that we LOVED, just swimming, putt-putt golfing and snacking.

So I am tanned and satisfied back in Illinois, waiting for the next snow storm on Tuesday.

Disneycruisin', I met Michael at the vacation club. Nice guy! He'll be on our cruise, too! Yay!

Glad you're back and had a good trip:hug:
Hi Everyone! :wave2:

I'm new to these boards and can't wait to meet you all on this cruise. I've been lurking since I booked the cruise last October, but its so overwhelming trying to keep up with you all. You're a chatty bunch!

It'll be myself (35) and my two kids travelling DS14 and DD12 (at the time we sail). I can't believe my son will be in the teen club by then. Yikes!

Thanks to everyone for organizing everything. It looks like we have a great group!

Kelly

Welcome.:goodvibes WIll your 14 year old be in the stack or are they still doing the 11-14 year olds in the quest? I really have not kept up with that (figuring it could change a half dozen times by September 2010), but you may want to keep an eye on it so your son does not go in expecting one thing and find another (if that would bother him).

Sarah--I am glad you explained why you weren't multi quoting because I was actually wondering (only because I remember the conversations when you asked how to do it and then started doing so:rolleyes: )

Yeah unfortunately I'm limited mainly to this forum lol! We have lots of filters in place so sometimes get a little annoyed at this stupid net!

Still at least next week we should be getting some work. The whole month of March we have nothing to do!

Oh and I love Toy Story Mania! It was so much fun! Still have to find anyone that didn't like it so glad you enjoyed it too! It will be the only reason I visit Hollywood Studios from now on as really don't like that park (although the Tune In Lounge might also be a reason).

lol that's why I thought I better explain otherwise someone might think I'm a goldfish and my memory had gone!

My kids love DS, almost as much as MK! If they were older I could see us not doing the park very often. I rode RNR and thought I was going to have a heart attack! I am too old for the coasters anymore I think, I shook for 10 minutes afterwards lol

Funny, it is our least favourite park as well. We always go for Fantasmic though (that is Dave's favourite thing at WDW), and do enjoy the shows, animation class, etc--just not as magical as everywhere else. I could see us skipping it all together if Fantasmic were ever to close.
We enjoyed Toy Story Mania but didn't LOVE it the way everyone else seems to:confused3 We liked the interactive concept a lot, but didn't care so much for everything being basically a big computer screen (as opposed to the 3-D figures in Buzz Lightyear, etc.). If the ride were as cute as the queue area that would be something else;)

Hi Kelly! Welcome to the boards and to the cruise. I'm sure youll all have a great time. Where abouts are you guys from?

We're from South Eastern Wisconsin - near Lake Geneva. I checked out the cool Google map and saw some folks nearby in Illinois, but no one in Wisconsin yet.

Glad you're back and had a good trip:hug:

I was just on the Magic for a Double Dip cruise in September and I thought the Quest thing was for 11-13 and then the 14 year olds went to the Stack. He's pretty excited about going to the Stack. Me....not so much :worried: But, you're right - they change it up once in awhile, so I'll keep my eye on it.

Either way, the boy will not be complaining to be spending 14 days on the Magic! :woohoo:

We must have crusied together! We were on the Magic's Double Dip in September also. DD is pretty sure they had 11-14 in quest (she was 11) but we may be confused. I do know they have been tweaking the ages and do not have it listed correctly on the website. I am kind of relieved that Marika (who will be 13 when the TA happens) will not be in the stack (she is also--at least now, who knows how she will feel by the sail date:confused3 ), but I also know they could change things up many times between now nad then.

Maybe the kids know each other. My son's name is Cory - he was 11 at the time too. I checked out one of our Navigators from the cruise and it broke down the ages: 3-4, 5-7, 8-10, 11-13, and Teens.

It'll work out fine either way. But 14 just seems so old to me! They grow up too fast!

They do grow too fast. Marika turned 12 last week and she is already a half inch taller than me! I told her to stop that:rotfl2:

I will ask her if she remembers a Cory. She really didn't spend much time in the Quest. She was not very interested in the activities they had so she may not. She just enjoyed doing a lot of family activities and reading or swimming and playing card games with her friend Abby (oh, and eating of course:lmao: you know if she quit eating so dang much maybe she WOULD quit growing). I am really hoping she enjoys the activities for her age more on the TA--but as long as she finds ways to enjoy the trip regardless I will be happy:upsidedow

Good morning everyone,
boy you guys have been chatty the last 2 days. I had 3 pages to read to catch up.
Welcome Kelly & Yodamouse, nice to meet you both.:goodvibes

If you ladies think the kids are growing up fast when they are all of a sudden teens, just wait until your grandkids hit the teens,:scared: then you really wonder where all the years went????
I just cant figure out how they all keep growing up and I dont look a day older than when they were born:lmao:

Hope all of you are off to a great start for the new year.

Kathy

I am an 'old" Mom, by the time I have grandkids I am sure we will be senile and wont remember they are our grandkids! lol They do grow up so fast...my babies are not babies anymore and I now I see all the newborns and go awwwwww but know at this point the kid making machine is just too obselete to try!

My oldest grandaughter graduated high school this last year:eek: Her brother is 2 years behind her.
I keep telling them I dont claim them as grandkids anymore because they are too old. Grandkids are suppose to be little kids.:lmao:
They think I'm a crazy grandma and their probably right;)

I do have 2 younger grandkids,so I just claim them.:rolleyes1 That way I dont sound so old:rotfl:

Now if my sons would just find the right girl and get married, then maybe I would have a baby for a grand child and then I could claim them.

The older you get the faster time goes by!!! So enjoy every minute, even the hard ones.:goodvibes

Welcome to KatiesMommy, YodaMouse and KellyJeanDVC!!!

Kellyjeandvc - We were also on the Sept. DD cruise!!! It was me, my Mom (who is too chicken to go on the TA), my oldest son and his future bride (TheDisneyGirl02). There are a number of us sailing on the WB TA.

BTW, Hadley, how in the WORLD do you find time to chit chat with us with all you have going on?! Don't get me wrong! I'm thrilled to see you, but I just don't know how you have free time! I'm so glad Dave didn't have to go in advance. That's got to be a huge help!

Kelly, I'm in McHenry County, just south of your border. I think we share weather. ugh. More snow tomorrow.

Old Moms unite! I was 41 when my last was born. I figure by the time my boys are teens, I'll be too senile to worry.

I love the Toy Story ride! I even asked Scott if we could get some arcade games for the WII.

The park we don't like is Animal kingdom, except for 3 rides...Everest, the safari, and the whirl (??? that little rollercoaster in Dino Land.)

Yes, you are very nearby.

At least some of the snow we got in December melted before more came along. I could barely reach the top of the piles at the end of my driveway - I was running out of places to put the white stuff!

I'm starting to realize that living in Wisconsin is optional and I can't imagine I have too many winters left in me!
