Hello again!
It has been a long time since I posted so I decided you may forget me if I didn't add a post soon!! LOL

We have a Wii and love Wii sports and Wii Fit. I am bound and determine to pass the swimming bubble balance game but alas I hold all the top 10 spots and have not completed the course.... My DH just laughs because I am proud to hold all 10 spots when I am competing against my 7 and 10 year old instead of people my own age. He is sure I would not rank against an actual fit person!!!! I didn't have the heart to reply with the obvious jab that his Mii person is fat. The Wii Fit calculates your height and weight and sizes up your Mii accordingly and his little Mii is round (and he thinks he is fit so that made it all the funnier).
Also, the rest of the family loves Mario Kart on the Wii - I can not get my car to stay where I want it...

Glad Im not the only one with this issue lol!

We also have Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, Ratatouille, Bully (came with the consol) and a Sonic game. DH tried the Harry Potter game today and that looks like a lot of fun.

I'm loving the fact I got on my wii fit the other day and it said I put on 6 lbs! (not something to love but read on). It then said well done and that I only have another 8lbs to put on to reach my weight loss target! I think I might have done something wrong when I set my target up lol! Honestly I do want to loose weight

We opted for a fantastic night in with my parents! Mum cooked a big roast and we spent most of the night playing on the wii till 3am! Got home around 4 this afternoon

I can now say that next month I will be living in Germany and next year I will taking a fantstic cruise and meeting many new peopl finally in real life as well as hooking back up with some old friends. Next year does sound so much nicer

What other Wii games do you guys like?

The Wii is brand new to us, and we very much like the baseball and bowling.

But we rented a few games and either didn't get them or they didn't hold our interest. So we are looking for other really addictive games. Your recommendations are most welcome.

We got the Disney "Think Fast" Wii trivia game for Christmas. We played with my grandkids -- I thought I knew Disney, but my 9-year old granddaughter whipped us!

Joanne, I got our Wii at Toys R Us in Central Park a few months ago. Look for the Sunday ad, then be there when the store opens. I was able to get Wii, but they had already sold out of Wii Fit right after they opened. My daughter found it at Target in Cosner's Corner in early November and got it for me for a birthday gift.

I guess you just have to be in the right place at the right time....

Best Buy. They told us they get merchandise shipped in every night. They don't know what is coming, so recommended we come in each morning when they open. Day 2 I got lucky.

Marilyn, wow, thanks so much! And you're not kidding about the right place and right time. Last January when one of my DDs was expecting, I was in Target and they had Graco strollers w/the infant carseat for 75% off, so instead of paying $170, I paid ~$43! Now I'll be keeping an eye out for a Wii since my DH has agreed that it would be good for us all.

March 14th 2009 Disneyland DIS meet

Okay we have our hotel booked and our flights booked .. we will get there the morning of Thursday the 12th and be staying till the night of the 15th ...we are booked at DLH ... We will be at Disneyland all day on Saturday except for the Official DIS meet / dinner at Rain Forest Cafe which will be at 5 pm .. I will need a head count to call in to Rain Forest Cafe , so if you already know you will be there for sure Please PM me , if you are still iffy just make sure I know no later then February 1st so I can make our reservation .. After dinner we will also make our way to Pirates of the Caribbean for our Traditional sailing before the sailing ... this will be our third March DIS Meet and they get bigger every year .. And you dont wanna miss the Pirates of the Caribbean ride afterwards as it will be something to remember as it has been the last couple of meets ( I am sure a couple people will chime in that have experienced a sailing with the Captain before in the past )

So , we be keeping a weathered eye out for ya !!!!!!

Thats is all , now you Scurvy dogs and Wonderful wenches can now be getting back to whatever Ye duties may be !!!

I know it is a long ways away but I am always looking for a good deal. I just got an email from Staples with their sale items starting on Sunday and included were magnetic dry erase boards for $1. They are usally $6.99. It is nice that these are magnetic and dry erase. I know you can also get dry erase boards at the dollar store but these seem to be better quality.

There are also a 4 pack of dry erase markers, 4 pack of sharpies, packages of highlighters and other items for $1.

Anyway, just thought I would share these items. I love to find a good deal even if it is for almost 2 years away!!!

I am sure things will be back to normal soon , at east they are starting to get that way here ..... Almost all the decorations are down and put away , we should be able to get everything done tomorrow ..
