Sept 18 2010 WB TransAtlantic Pirates/Capt Jacks Re-Repoing Repossession Cruise Pt.2

Belated Happy New Year! We have spent the past few days babysitting, first our 6yo DGD, and, for the last 3 days, our 7mo DGD. Wow, do they keep you busy! Sometimes I wonder how I managed w/a 5 yo and a pair of twins, but, ahem, I'm not exactly 26 anymore (mmm hmmm, not even close ). Tomorrow I'm hoping the Christmas stuff will come down.

Well I posted way back in the first thread before our first cruise. We did our Western a few weeks ago and really liked it! DH booked the St Croix trip for us, without me knowing, onboard. I was not really thrilled with it, kicked around doing the Dec 5th Western next Dec and tonight we sat and had a heart to heart and with the economy and all, DH doesnt want to risk time off work and said if I have my heart set on this cruise to go ahead and switch in the morning for just me and the girls.

So......

Tomorrow morning it will be official! I am doing the WB TA with you all!! Me, Lucinda (42 @ cruise) DD Katie (6@ cruise) and DD Carrie (4@cruise)! I sure hope I can do this with my girls by myself, the whole idea is kinda scary but exciting nonetheless! Will be our second cruise, first time in Europe!

LOL Kathy!! I thought I had seen you before Actually I have seen you over on cruisecritic too. Well, thank you so much for the warm welcome!!! I feel like tennis ball they way we have been bouncing from thread/cruise to thread/cruise but this is the cruise I really wanted since it was released. I have a feeling this is going to be an awesome cruise! ( as long as I do not have to many fruity drinks and forget I brought the girls! )

Yes I remembered seeing your name on CC and Dis both. I just thought it was so funny that you posted on the 09, I responded, then 2 minutes later you popped up on the same cruise we are on. I guess we were just meant to meet

Ohhhh, the stalking has begun Kathy!! LOL

I am an insomniac, so you will see a lot of late night posting from me!

I sure hope we do okay, I will be honest, 8-9 hours on a plane with luggage to deal with and my girls sounds a bit much, but, they will be older, Carrie out of diapers and honestly Katie is a dream to go anywhere with! Carrie...well lets just say she is a bit of a hardhead!! I may have to adopt them out onboard! LOL

Great to see you're going to come with us, KATIESMOMMY! You have one big family here who I know will help if we can, so I'm sure traveling with the girls won't be so bad! It's even likely one of us could have the same flight over the pond. You never know...maybe by then, DH will change his mind anyways.

Just think , This time next year we will all be saying only 9 months to go and after all this time some of us will still be in a panic that we didnt get everything done ..

that will be me! Last cruise I was so last minute and it was so stressful! I was still finishing off my fish extender gifts on the cruise. This time I am determined to be more organised. Are we doing a fish extender exchange on this cruise - I may need to start now!

Glad you are 'official' Katiesmommy. I'm a Hoosier too...from the other side of the state (Hobart).

Well, I'm in nearly full planning mode for my cruise this September. I've decided to do the week prior at WDW with some of my cruise-mates from the Panama Cruise. My friend will be booking our DVC stay in another month. I think he'll be choosing VWL, but I'll be happy with wherever we end up (tag alongs can't be picky!). I haven't done a full week at WDW in many visits, so it will be nice to have the leisure time. It will also be necessary, as this desert dweller won't be able to make it though the humidity without LOTS of rest stops (and a swim/nap each afternoon)!!

Glad everyone survived the holidays.

I am on the west coast, so for people across the country I appear to be a late night poster too. I lurk twice a day but dont always post.
The girls will probably sleep a lot of the flight since over seas flights are red eye flights 99% of the time.
