Sue, What about ....pack it (in a garment bag- you can get them cheap at a used store) and have it steamed when you get there. I think it is cheap and I know it is cheaper than buying a gown garment bag with shipping

I have 2 girls (7 and 9) who are perfect angels. I am so proud of them…wait, they are about ready to kill each other…

I’m back now.


My husband works for a company making potions and lotions, which affords me the time to stay home with the rugrats…I mean perfect angels. And I have plenty of Wild Fig lotion and candles in every scent.



I used to work with our youth in the public schools, but decided to quit my job teaching to stay home and change diapers and scrub toilets…. ok, I don’t really scrub them, I kind of suck at house work and the kids have been out of diapers for some time. But, really don’t want a J…O…B.



I am SOOOOOO looking forward to the cruise!

DH and I went to Children's Hospital tonight to hear a speaker talk about "Tears, Tempers and Tantrums...How to have the best baby/toddler on the block". It was really good! I could not believe how many people were there for a Friday night! DH was sure he would be bored out of his mind(sound familiar...kind of thinking it is a common thought for him!)...but when it was over, he said that he was really impressed with the speaker and not bored at all. DM was sitting so we went to Thurman Cafe to grab a bit to eat afterwards.

I guess I do find time to read...I spend hours reading all these posts!

Another week down the tubes.
Should be a busy weekend here. Have not started packing yet. Need to get some kind of seasick meds., green yarn and a list of other things.
Soccer starts in the am. Bradys game @ 10, Abby's @ 11:30. Mow the lawn, clean up the house, blah,blah,blah, yaddah,yaddah.

Jenny-car troubles are crappy, but thank God for family.
Jen-30 books, what are you thinking? It would take me 30 years to read thirty books.

GOOOOD MORNING! I guess the good Lord decided I must get up early this morning. No sleeping in for me! One of my neighbors must have come home after a little to much of that silver/gold rum or whatever it is you guys are talking about. Anyways, the horn on the car decided to "stick" on at 5am. By the time I called the police and watched what was going on (hmmm, what do they say about curiosity and cats ), I was too awake. Oh well, lots to do before I go. My car needs it's 60K service (which is the BIG one), so I'm doing that at 8:30am. And since I'm already up and out I figured I needed to go shopping some more! After all, I'm sure there's SOMETHING I forgot! Feel free to help me out on what it might be!

Reminded me of a surprise when I first moved to Florida. I was at the office talking to one of my co-workers, looked down and saw.....a scorpion! I didn't even KNOW Florida had scorpions! Turns out that's the only one I've ever seen. Must have arrived in a box from somewhere.

Talked to my DB for almost TWO hours last night. He's really getting excited about the cruise. He gave a big thumbs up to the cabin tour so we're all set for the Cat4 now. DNephew (Tyler) is getting really excited too. They're all going shopping this weekend to get even more clothes. Told them to wait until Florida for shorts. Califiornia weight shorts are just TOO thick for Florida. They'll hit Target when they get out here. Hmmm, maybe I should go to Target, too! There just might be something there I need.

And I'm really mad at Brad for beating me to the countdown. I was so excited that I'd be first (since it's so early). Oh well, I'll do the countdown for Jenny, Donna (ragdoll) and me!

Jenny, Due to Missy and Mary misbehaving.... I forgot to tell you I'm really sorry about your car. You have a wonderful Sister who loves you very much You know she's going to make a GREAT Mom when your little neice arrives..
I know I was out of town last week and the truck wouldn't start..(only the battery though) Thank goodness!!! Then got informed last night we have to put some tires on DD car before we leave. DH doesn't want it on the road for the trip without some new ones. Why does it always happen...right when your going on a vacation things from every corner come at you (not talking about spiders or gekos) $$$$$$$$ more $$$$$.
My DMom is coming over this morning because she is on vacation now cleaning out her house, giving things away and she's bring a wall unit over that can't wait till I get back from the trip....no, has to be this morning at oh dark early. So we are rearraning furniture this morning to make yet another piece fit Doesn't she realize that has nothing to do with my vacation and to me it can wait???? oh well got to love those MOM's

with my formal -- put it in one of those plastic drycleaner or dept store hanging bags and put it inside our garment bag. I thought I might have to press it, but I didn't. BTW, we put each itme in the garment bag in its own separate plastic hanging bag. It really helped with wrinkes, etc. We didn't have to iron anything!

I think the little one and I will go to my friends pool today -- wear her out so I can make packing piles while she sleeps.
