Hi all! We are seriously considering switching from our currently booked October 25th 3 night on the Dream to this one.

Our only holdup is that having a Cabana on Castaway Cay is a must for us!

Could someone who is Silver Castaway or above check and see if there are any available? (Family Beach)

From what I can tell, they are all sold out. Cabanas 1-20, Family Beach, are showing as sold out. However, they are missing numbers 13 and 16, but these numbers are not showing as being available for booking either. I'm not sure what that means??

ETA: It looks like there isn't a #13. Still not sure about #16 availability then.

I'd suggest PMing the ring leader (mom2kyle, iirc). I sent her a PM yesterday or the day before requesting to be added, but haven't received a reply yet. A day or two before that, she said they were still taking enrolements in the FE. We were late to the party, too...we just booked the cruise Monday on FL Res Rates.

Cabana already snagged. Just need to know your room number. I can have the cool little cabana thing and the wrist bands delivered to you instead of our room. Since we don't know each other maybe giving me the cash or check while on board? If you want to send a check in advance that's fine as well. Up to you. Our last cruise in February I was able to reserve 5 cabanas and only used one. The rest I gave to fellow travelers on the Disney Boards and they sent me checks.

Completely up to you how you want to handle. Just let me know.

I am holding the res for Wendy/Grumpy until tomorrow as they are trying to figure out if they will be coming in September versus October. Of course Jolie is second in line and I will honor that as the second line due to interest shown today. I will also keep an eye out each day if anyone wants me to. Just let me know. I seem to have good luck getting the res for cabanas.

So excited for this cruise.

Has there been a final decision on the meet n greet? I mentioned in post 49 that we could meet at the vista cafe near the atrium. I know that outside on the deck was mentioned too but not sure if the heat would be comfortable.
Also, I see that we have new cruisers that have joined recently, welcome!
Has anyone rcvd a final count from mom2kyle on the FE exchange? I really need to go shopping this weekend for gifts for the FE exchange but need count and ages of everyone participating.

Btw, it felt great to state I am cruising "next month" finally.

Thanks so much Lena. I would like to know as well. We just booked our cruise yesterday (surprise for my hubby for out 14th anniversary.) We managed to just bring 2 kids with this time instead of the entire cohort, and would love to be part of the meet and greet. I asked about FE as well but did not hear back. I think we're too late. I vote for inside near the cafe, but am flexible if everyone wants on deck.
We can make it quick too so everyone can explore the ship.
My kids(boys) are 13 & 3 if anyone has kids around that age. Actually my 13 year old will be turning 14 that week so he will probably want to do vibe, not edge.

As it stands we have 5 cabins participating that I can see.
Cruisefanattic 87, lenaN4fun, mom+3 firls, schimj & my cabin. What is everyone's feeling on when to stop accepting more? Since it's a little group I had thought to wait until the 1 month mark which would be the 15th or 16th of this month. Totally open to suggestions.

As far as accepting more... I am fine with adding ppl as close to sailing as anyone else is comfortable with. We are going to order extras so if anyone joins too late I can add them to my list to give them some

Not a probmen at all. I agree on stopping at the one month mark. I am beyond excited for this cruise because since we were able to get a great Florida resident discount my mom and brother are now joining us. They even got the room next to us. Kind of weird how that happened. 40 days or 6 weeks left! Which ever sounds less.

Hey everyone! I just booked super last minute I'll have to send a PM - I'd LOVE LOVE to do the FE exchange if it's not too late! I'm taking my mom on a surprise cruise for her 60th I MEAN her second 30th birthday She thinks I'm taking her to Cocoa beach for a long weekend. It's her first time on a cruise, and I know she'd just love giving out gifts. I'll have to make a new FE, though.. the only one I have is Christmas themed because I've never not gone on a disney cruise in December, lol. So excited!!
