I have got to get to work on ours. That looks great.

I just checked the Disney Cruise Line website, looks like they have lots of staterooms still available in every category. Do people wait this close to a cruise to book?
Hmm, that does seem a little odd. I just checked and was surprised to see the prices have also stayed somewhat consistent from when we booked on opening day! I would have expected the prices to be a lot higher by now. That being said, I have a family member who just booked a Disney cruise a couple weeks out from the sail date, so it does happen. Although, frankly, I wouldn't mind being on a cruise that's at less than full capacity!

I like the way you think. It would be nice to curise with less people on a bigger ship.
I just want to find a lounge chair and lay in it.
My DD is really excited. She is the middle child and likes to have alone time with me.
Wonder how many people we have that are participating in the Fish Extender Exhange?
I would love to do a Meet sometime while on the ship. I think it would be fun to meet everyone.

I am glad that you stated you were doing the fish extender. My sister and I were thinking we might just be giving to each other..lol
Can we go ahead and get a count (including ages) of everyone participating in the FE?
I am not sure if everyone is ok posting their room #'s on here so we know where to find your FE's to drop off gifts. Thoughts:confused3?? We could also get room #'s at a meet and greet:grouphug:, maybe at 3:30 or 4:00? I know its late but I believe everyone has to be on board by then, right? Sail away party starts at 4:30 so we will probably want to be up on deck by then.:hourglass
As far as cruise, I did see there were rooms still available. Suprisingly, that is a 3 day weekend for our schools so I would have thought people would have taken advantage of that with the cruise.

If you PM mom2Kyle, I'm sure she can give the most recent FE count, with ages, name, and room information!

If the times are the same as our last cruise, everyone has to be onboard by 3:45pm. The life boat drill then begins at 4pm (and is slated until 4:30pm, although it is generally quicker than that, assuming everyone shows up on time). The Sail Away Party then starts at 4:45pm.

I believe we did that already, we just hadn't heard anything in so long we didn't know if it was still "a go".
I'll message her to make sure I have the most updated info.

You're correct, I forgot about the boat drill at 3:45-4:00. Hmm, what about 3:00pm? pixiedust:

I'm am good with 3 if everyone esle is.

Where do you all want to meet?
Although we probably won't meet up because we'll be busy exploring (yay!), I know our previous cruise met at 3pm at the Currents outdoor bar on Deck 13. It's out in the open, so it's for all ages. Mini-golf is on the other end of Deck 13, so that's an option, too!

How about the Vista Cafe seating area on Deck 4? It is inside overlooking the atrium and seems to have nice tables/chairs for socializing.

I know everyone will be eager to wander and explore the ship but I would really love to meet all of the DM's, DD's, DD's and DS's to start off this wonderful cruise so we can keep it very short & sweet.

Thoughts?

It's not unusual during the slow seasons to have empty staterooms. September is especially slow because everyone is starting school again and it's right after summertime which is when most everybody takes their vacations. That's exactly WHY I chose to get married on a cruise in September! The same staterooms are less expensive than in peak-season, and there will be less guests making everything less crowded! Soon they'll be offering discounted rates to Florida residents, military families, and cast members in attempt to fill as many rooms as they can.

Heck, I've got 21 rooms booked for this cruise with my wedding party! As much as I'd like to, I don't think I'll have time for a meet, unfortunately! With only a 3-night cruise and 45 guests to attend to, I think I'll be kept quite busy the entire cruise! Feel free to wave at me on the Nassau day- I'll be the one in white! :bride:

Hi All!
I have only gotten a little nibble on the FE exchange for our trip so I thought to post this here & hopefully more people will join in! So far we stand at 4 families.
What I need are:
-cabin #'s
-names of everyone in the cabin with ages
-character/color preferences of people in cabin (not a guarantee, but if someone is making something character specific it will be easier)
-any allergies to items that might be included (food, bath product, etc)
-anything else you think we would need to know.

Thanks! Annette

Life is crazy - We will be on this cruise with you all. This will be #16(DW), #15(me), #14 for DS8 and DD6. Hope to see you on board

I bet you are:hyper:. How are all the plans going?
Right now, we are trying to realistically plan for our expenses--gas, a hotel stay on the way down, tips while on the cruise, and WDW. After that, I will start packing pretty soon. That will make it feel more real! How about you?
