My parents will also be staying at the MCO Hyatt the night prior due to inability to get an early morning flight on Saturday. I will let them know that they will not be the only ones. They were worried that the transfers would be all messed up.

We didn't get an upgrade. We didn't get our documents. I was getting worried. I know there are weeks to go but reading everyone else's news was making me anxious. We stalk the mailman, rush to the door when the UPS truck drives by, when the documents finally come, we'll probably give the delivery person a heart attack when we jump them for the envelope.

We'll be at BCV for the first time two days before our cruise. We (me,dh, dd 9, ds 5) can't wait.

Hi I am Rose, I will be traveling with my two sisters and my Aunt. We are staying at the Airport Hyatt Also, I am sure you will see us by the pool. We get in aroun 3pm on Friday.
I have read on other boards people wil be wearing Mickey paint chips or something like that to recognise eachother, anything like that here?

Haven't heard of that but if you want ot do something like that let me know and I will let my parents know. I am sure that they would like to meet a few people before getting on the ship. They too are planning on hitting the pool.

femmfaerie, I just read on another poast that your Aunt won this cruise off of TV! How nice. Iwas just wondering what she won it off of.

She won the cruise from UPN 20 - a station here in Denver. The prize was air and a cruise for 4 - our choice of the # of days and date. We are all every excited - well except for my Aunt who hates to fly... It is the first cruise for all of us!
I read about these Mickey paint things from Home depot, it sounded like a good idea so we can recognize eachother.
I will look for your parents at the pool - we should be pretty easyto spot, by baby sister will either be on cruches with either a leg brace or a cast - or she might be in a wheel chair.

I will tell them to look for you. I think it would be pretty easy to pick your group out with the crutches. Let's keep our fingers crossed that the cast is off anyway so at least they could enjoy the water. Only 4 more weeks

DH & I are arriving 7-ish Friday night and will be staying at the Hyatt. I read and article on travelrap.com, and wanted to mimic that experience for ease.

This is our first cruise, and yesterday as I was entering the date on something, I thought "1 month!!"

I haven't been this excited since I was a kid. I feel like this is going to be Fourth of July, Halloween and Christmas happening all at once for me, I am that excited!!!

I think I will wear a mickey t-shirt to spark conversation at the Hyatt by the pool since that is where everyone will be.

ARE THERE MANY COUPLES GOING WITHOUT KIDS?

Haven't got my docs yet, I did get my passport, and boy did I pay, ouch! I will be looking for them, now that a lot of people seem to be getting them.

We are traveling with a fairly large group, and there are several couples without kids among us. One couple getting married on Castaway Cay. (DH and I have one toddler ourselves.) We're all from Virginia ---- where-abouts are you? Most of our group is in NoVa, and we are in the Richmond area.

we are in the tidewater area, how amazing we are all in VA!

We are flying out of Norfolk friday afternoon on the 12th.

The group here is traveling through Dulles and National, some on Friday and some on Saturday. I flew out of Norfolk for the first time this past May, and I REALLY like that airport.

I just read a thread about other sailings having DIS meets. Are any being scheduled? Can someone who is in the castaway club and a DIS member maybe suggest a time and place to meet others from the board. I would love to meet other people on the ship.

Someone had siad they had a meet, got to meet a lot of people and then went their onw way. But if they saw one another, they waved or would talk. That sounds great. If I could take a group of friends on the trip with me I would, but I would really like to meet some once I get there!

Can someone experienced sugest something, pretty please!!!

We will be staying at the Hotel Royal Plaza the day before the cruise. We plan on spending time at Downtown Disney. Debating if we should get one day passes to go into the park the day before.


SKOI - I have a daughter who will be 7 in Oct. How old is your daughter?

I don't know our flight yet, but we booked through DCL, so we may well be on the same flight. I assumed we would get the flight info when we get the cruise docs. I'll post back when I know.

We also don't have any kids yet. My parents and my husbands sister and finacee are also coming on this cruise. My sister-in-law was so worried that we would be the only ones without kids. I will have to tell her how wrong she is.

Femmfaerie, I told my parents to look for you. My mom told me that she will be easy to spot....she said that she will look like a tourist (she said she alway wanted to wear a big straw hat with a tropical type dress and black sunglasses). She also stated that my step dad will also look like a tourist...He will have on khaki shorts, a hawiian shirt, a camera around his neck, and sunglasses with a pink string holding them around his neck. I hope she is kidding otherwise I will be hiding in my room!!!

If anyone want to meet let me know where. I don't really know where people typically meet but would love to meet people.
