Sept 11 3 day Wonder? Am I the only one?

Hard to believe it's 7/1/08!! My mom and I are going to work on my fish extender this week.

I just noticed that this cruise doesn’t have an official Dis thread, so I thought I’d start one. Are any Disers joining me on the Wonder from 9/11-9/14/08.

My DH and I will be on that same cruise. We will be boarding on our 3 wedding Anniversary. This is going to be out second honeymoon . I am really looking forward to it. Cant wait.

My husband's oldest sister and husband will be joining us as well. It will be their first trip on DCL. Our boys are very excited. They keep begging me to get going on the fish extender, and they have some great ideas for the little gifts.
We're going to the Georgia mountains next week. Looking forward to an excape from the Florida summer.

I didnt fall off the face of the earth, work has been crazy lately so I havent had time to check the board - but it looks like we are going strong.
My hubby thinks I am going fish extender crazy - but I am having a great time coming up with goodies. I tried to make a extender last night - I really didnt like how it turned out, so its back to the drawing board.
Questions - has anyone booked or done any of the Spa treatments?
I was thinking of booking something during our day at Nassau, but I wasnt sure what was good. We only plan on getting off the ship at Nassau for a short time.
Shoes?? are nice flip-flop sandals appropriate for dinners for us girls?
I dont want to pack 5 pairs of shoes
Since we have so many adults traveling without kids on this group, does anyone want to meet up for drinks/dancing one night during the trip?
My kids will be with us, but my oldest would stay with them for a little while if we want to do some dancing

Hi Lisa it is nice to meet you.. My husband is going to get me the all day pass for the rain forest for our anniversary it cost 15.oo dollars for the day. I think that is what he said it was not sure what day he is going to do that I will let you know.

Hi,

Drinks/dancing sounds good to me. I'm like you re: Nassau, I'm getting off the ship for a couple hours, but that's it. I've never done a spa treatment, so I can't help there...I'm thinking about getting a pass for the Rainforest room, though...

I always bring a pair of sandals as my dinner shoes....hope that helps!

I am going on the Sept. 11 Wonder! No kids, just DH55 and me53. (actually our "kid" is grown.) Will be 4th Disney cruise for us. Also coming are our best friends who are celebrating their 20th Anniversary. No kids for them either. Woo-hoo! We are all avid UGA fans and hope to watch the UGA/SC game on a TV aboard ship that Saturday. I heard there's a big screen up on top...hmmmmm.

Are you doing the ceremony on board or at a port?
We just booked the Nov 14-21, 2009 for our 10yr vow renewal.
I have read so many great ideas on this board for weddings and renewals.
Well I am stuck with my kids for this trip but I guess its a good thing I like them!!! But with all the great kids activities on board I am sure we can get some couple time too.

Meeting up sounds great. My DH & I have done several spa treatments. He has done the hot stones and loved it, but says if you can't handle very hot things you may not enjoy it. We also have the Well Being massage booked. Last time I just had them concentrate on my lower back, but I believe this is the one where you get a 25 min massage and 25 min mini facial. I had opted out of the facial because I had one done prior so she gave me a 50 min massage. It was very relaxing, just let them know how much pressure you like. I also have a facial booked at 1 pm the day of boarding. I don't know if the Wonder does it, but when we were on the Magic, we were able to use the Rain Forest at no extra charge the day of our spa treatment. Hope that helps

We are getting married on the ship when it is docked in Nassau. SO excited only two months away!!! This is the second marriage for both of us and our first cruise. So we decided to leave the kids and the whole family at home! I can't wait to go on the cruise.
