Here is the latest re: linking dining reservation from my mom (AKA my TA). We need to give each other our names and reservation numbers so our TA’s can call DCL and request that the reservations be linked. Can you PM me your reservation number and name so I can have Mom pass it along to DCL?

Hey! Did you get my pm about Palo? Also, does your mom happen to know if we can put in a request for a specific dining rotation? Is this even a possibility?

I believe if you book another cruise while onboard that you get 10% off of it, plus an onboard credit for the future cruise (I think the amount may depend on the cost of the cruise.)

I have no clue about photopass. Sorry!

Here is the link to the magnets. It seems, after looking at it, that she will be out of town until about the first of July, but she says that she will "fill requests" once she is back. She did most of mine and I must say did a fabulous job! I also got a few just by posting a thread on the Creative DISigns forum (I think that's right). It's near the bottom of the main board. If you just post what you need/would like, there are fabulous DISers that will be more than happy to assist!

Another thing that I wasn't sure if you knew about or not, was that you can drop off a pillowcase at guest services to be autographed by the characters. I did this on my last cruise and it was great! Let me know if you need more info!

There is a thread on the cruise reports from a lady that just got off the Wonder in June. Her report is fact filled and has recent navigators, pictures etc... I also just read that pillowcases and pictures mattes are stilling being dropped off at guest services for signing. Now I just need to work on this fish extenders thing. don't know much about rebooking, but I do know that the deposit is cheaper now. We also just got back from Disney Hollywood studios and the "POP'. We use the photopass, but have never bought the cd. it's nice because you can bring you pictures up on your home computer and edit them with boarders and dates. We went to to Star Wars weekends. It was great!!! Now some originality ideas for fish extenders since we live in Florida???

Sorry for the delay in replying. Yes, I got the PM re: Palo. I’m not sure if we can request a specific rotation, but we can request to start in a specific restaurant. Som we could request to start in Tritons, if that works for you. I left a message for my mom, but I won’t have a chance to chat with her until tomorrow. Unfortunately, I’m working some unexpected extra hours this weekend due to “staffing issues” at work…..gotta love being a manager! I’ll post an update after we talk on Sunday.

Hi,

I can’t offer much help with the Photopass questions, sorry. Regarding booking on board, unless things have changed, deposits for 7-night cruises are $200/person for categories 4-12 ($100/person for 3 or 4 night sailings. I think you also get 10% off the prevailing rate when you book on board. If I remember correctly, you get a $200 shipboard credit when booking on board too. FYI: If you book onboard you can also change the dates of your reservation and/or transfer it to at to a TA without losing the parks. So, if you want to cruise in 2010 (for example), you could make a reservation for 12/09 then change it later.

That's perfect! That's really all I was hoping to find out..........if we could request that Triton's be on the first night. Other than that, it doesn't matter which nights AP or PC are on. I'm sorry that you're having to work. Never any fun.

Hi All,

My wife and I will be on this cruise for our 20th aniversary. It will be just us without the kids.

This will be our first cruise (DCL for my wife and any cruise for me). However, we are frequent WDW and specifically Fort Wilderness campers. So, this will be a bit different for us.

We honeymooned at WDW and we have a tradition of celebrating our aniversary at WDW on every 5th year. Putting a little twist on it this year by going on DCL.

I'll chat with mom tomorrow and see what she says. She didn't think it would be a problem to request Tritons as our first restaurant. I'll keep you posted!

Hi! I talked with my mom who linked us together successfully She made a note in my ressie that we'd like to start in Tritons. The CM that she spoke with said that your ressie indicates a preference to start in AP. If that's wrong, you might want to have your TA fix it.

Ok, it now seems that it's fixed. I let him know what your mom said (he had originally never requested any restaurant to start in, so maybe they had already assigned dining rotations), so he called while I was on the phone to see if he could request Triton's and said that it was taken care of. I hope so!

Hi, This will be our fourth DCL cruise, we have not been on the Wonder since 2004. It will be myself Patti, my husband Alex, and our son Caden he is six. Also, joining us for their first cruise is my friend Debbie, her husband Scott, and their daughter Abby who is seven. This was a risk taker for Debbie because she has heard, (not from these boards) that DCL is over-rated, and overpriced. I assured her that her cruise in one word will be "Magical". Now, I am little concerned about the threads on the food. Have you read them??? We have always enjoyed the food with exception to the eggs at topsiders!! I have tried on our previous cruises to hook up with Dis boarders. I hope this time it works. Have a magical day!!!

Noticed you guys are from Spring Hill, FL. We're like neighbors. We're from the St. Pete area. Hope to meet you on the cruise. We haven't been able to hook up with other Dis boarders before. Hoping this time will be different too. Excited about participating in the FE. Never done it before.

This is a first time getting to meet other folks on the disboards also. I have to start working on the fish extenders I am such a procrastinator. I do not believe there is and official count yet either of participants. We are going over to The Ron Jon Resort on the East Coast for a week starting friday. So excited. Maybe I can find some trinkets over there. There really isn't much in Spring hill, except Weeki Wachee and the mermaids. Anyway, looking forward to this trip, and some new friends.

My neighbors Ginny and Bob will be cruising with us now. They are a bit older, and have never been on a cruise. They work all the time still, and I thought it was time they added a "Little Wonder" to their overworked lives. I hope you all are as excited about this trip and we are. We have to get this thread going. For a good feeling go to the main cruise board and look at the thread " Horn Wars". it is great. Hope you all are well.
