Lynne, fantastic recap, thank you so much. i really don't know how you do that!
I use a Mac and copy and paste what you guys write - it's really the bold, underline, and color that take any time. I read the DIS daily (or more often), so it doesn't take one big chunk of time. I do go back and skim through
to see if I've missed any tidbits. For me, it's quite fun, like being with friends.
...
I actually had 3 under 3 after a surprise final pregnancy. One of my embarrassing moments was when we had the 2 tiny ones and I was massively pregnant and had to go for blood tests. The nurse came to the Family Planning Clinic to do that. Walking into that building I felt a real candidate I can tell you.
...And thinking about the new thread, we could have Lynne do a placeholder for her weekly recap (?)![]()

Just for enjoyment reading......for all you fellow cruisers.....what would you say was your most enjoyable memory/activity you did on previous Disney cruises? Was there a little known joy you discovered on the trip that you could share with everyone? Like maybe a "sleeper" event that most people would bypass thinking it wasn't worth trying or a place on the ship that you think everyone should try at least once.
I'm just curious because I have found some of the most special/enjoyable things I have done in the past were based on what other people recommended that maybe wasn't in a tour book or talked about a lot.The little things in life can wind up being the most pleasureable!

You caught on quickly!!!
We enjoyed the tour of the ship. Not the general one they do on embarkation day, but ones they have on the Navigator occasionally. I can't remember what the tour is called though. We went on someone's recommendation and really found it interesting and enjoyable.
We also enjoyed the Galley Tour and Theatre Tour.

We have enjoyed the Chef Series of cooking classes (with wine, of course), and the Galley Tour. Haven't taken the Theater Tour - that sounds very interesting...

Can anyone suggest something for my DD Chanelle's 15th birthday? It's on the 13th which is a day at sea. What options are there??![]()
What was the Galley & Theatre Tour? So they have these tours listed in the Navigator? That sounds like fun!![]()

Do they have the Cooking classes on this cruise? I would love to do that. Do you have any more info?![]()
The ship tour is advertised, but for some reason they seem to have stopped advertising the Galley tour. Go straight to Guest Services and book one as they do book up quickly. I think the ship tour is called The Art of the Ship tour or something like that.
If you mention her birthday to your dining room servers a few days or even just the day before, they will bring a cake and sing Happy birthday to her. You can have gifts waiting in the Stateroom on embarkation day, like the birthday one which has banners, magnets and a cake etc, or other gifts that DCL do(for a cost) but they don't do them on other days throughout the cruise. She is too young to go to the Spa, or go to High Tea unfortunately. Really there aren't many special things you can book.
Perhaps you will be able to book a private sitting with Don Ducky Williams to have a picture drawn of her favourite character. I think again you have to go very soon to guest Services to book this as goodness they go quickly.
I sure hope so - would loveto do it again. (The food was delicious!) We took the Chef Series classes on the 7-day Caribbean cruise a few years ago. I don't think it was available on the 10-day Med cruise last summer (probably not enough at-sea days) - if it was, I didn't see it.
Maybe someone with more informationabout this Trans-Atlantic cruise will know........
