DH's appendicitis-pain scare seems to have resolved into a muscle pull; he has been working out extra hard in anticipation of the excesses of the cruise and I think it caught up. Thank you for all the pixie dust!

So thankful it was a false alarm too! I know that must have been very scary

Krisann do you want to be added to the CG waitlist? I only have one other person on there currently and lots that haven't confirmed they still want to go, if they don't confirm by the weekend then I will have to drop them off the list as I need to send it to DCL.

Our facebook page is going crazy today, I had 167 email notifications within an hour. Can someone tell me how to switch it off, it's driving DH crazy!

yes there was rather a lot could hardly keep up but oh so funny..... Hazel so looking forward to your star turn, and I didn't tell DH what you could do with a drink !!


YAY YAY PACKED PACKED.... EXCITED.... and only 20 dresses not 21, lol just couldn't get rid of any more, once DH is packed I may even sneak that one in his case
I will be able to stop stressing about it now, so tomorrow I will start to pack DD case for new york where she joins us.... just in case I have to go shopping !!!

Karen, last year we gave out a prize for the best FE. Just a thought...

All the numbers I have are on the spreadsheet I sent. Nothing new on the FE list as everyone is in the same boat (so to speak) with the GTY rooms.

Does DCL really think that many people will book at the last minute??

Believe it not, I do know one person who is scrambling to see if she can go on this cruise!

As far as the Renaissance, just email them your flight information and tell them you expect to be picked up!! Tell them you expect an answer within 24 hours. If you don't get a response, call the 800 number for Marriott and get them to get you a confirming email or definite instructions on how to contact them to get the shuttle.

I think that it is important as a women traveling alone that you have as much security as possible. I guess I am a bit assertive.

Another storm headed our way? Ohhh my aching nerves. We still can't get around after Sunday's storm. It took me 2 1/2 hours of changing directions from flooded roads yesterday morning and over 2 hours to try and find my way home. Too bad I don't drink, I'm seriously considering taking it up. Then again, I threaten to start drinking every Thursday at work. The girls just laugh at me anymore. But I digress, I discovered roads I did not know existed. We switched our flight to fly out on the 8th. If we can't fly out I may pass out from stress. Horrible way to start a vacation you waited 3 years to take.

I know we can't do anything about the weather, but I can't tell you how many February's I sat on pins and needles waiting to see if my flight would leave on time, or at all, to go see my parent's, former snow birds, and Mickey. I guess that is what I get for traveling in Feb, but I NEED my winter breaks for sanity's sake. It is the only thing that gets me though winter. Did I ever mention how much I HATE !!!!!!!! winter? We will fly out on time, we will fly out on time, we will fly out on time. Positive thinking, must think positivly.

I took your advise Noel. I emailed the hotel and gave them my flight info and asked for a confirmation with 24 hours. In a nice polite way. Baby steps.

Glad to see the GTY's are finally being issued!!!! I have made a request on the facebook page that everyone post their DIs user name & cabin number so we have them all in one place.

I also recommend everyone else that can log into their account on DCL's page that we all double check our cabin number's just incase some of us have been moved/pixie dusted......it would be great if we could get all this information & changes together asap so everyone can get on with their various exchange gifts, Noel's navigator, tastings etc....

No pixie dust for us ... we are still in cat 11B .... the room we booked 6003 .. which incidentally I am perfectly happy with
