I know Lynne has probably posted it, but I didn't find it on the first page so lazy me gave up looking - Do we have a link to a page for Mouse Club t-shirts for the Mouse Club dress up night?

We ordered ours from Zazzle a while back. They came out really nice.

I just ordered mine too! I got the ladies ringer t with the rings in red...hope it comes out as nice as it looks online!! :goodvibes

Yay for our cabin # still showing the same as when we went to bed last night. :lmao: I felt like I had to check when Curt left for work at 5:30 this morning... and again a few minutes ago, especially now that I've seen it change once.

I guess all things happen for a reason - we had downgraded from 5C (#6542) to 10Cgty to save about $1500 (since we could do that with interline rates)... and luck would have it that on Sunday my alternator on my car went out. Curt just got the call from the shop I drove it to in the nick of time... $1000 to fix that and replace a belt that we minus well replace anyway since it's part of the process. So... I am really glad we had changed our cabin since this car thing popped up. We both agree to not have car payments, and drive our cars until not economically feasible anymore... so this $1000 fix just counteracts the balcony on the cruise. Must say I am glad we had saved it via cruise money. :wizard: But taking off two weeks of July for vacation hits that checking account. :scared1:

We took the Hop On - Hop Off bus tour. It went by all the major places that we wanted to see and one of the them was Parc Guell. They give you a map and you know which stop to get off at. It's a little hike straight up a big hill but just take it easy. Parc Guell was beautiful! Great view of Barcelona and just wandering around was so nice. Definitely worth seeing. The buildings at the beginning of the park look like gingerbread houses....beautiful! :goodvibes

Do you think that would be the best option for us... knowing we have the 5 year old and 15 month old? I'm thinking if they get tired/fussy, we can just ride and sightsee while they nap. (?) We are staying by Placa Catalunya. And I'm assuming the two day pass since not much more in cost. I'd love to see Montesserat but don't think that is feasible this time.

:thumbsup2 Have a great trip....we start our morning with first flight at 6 am... will be long long day, however well worth it.

That's kinda why we broke our trip apart. Booking with AA miles, we could do a stopover at a North American gateway, so we're just flying to NYC the first day, spend a few days there, then do the 6.5 hour flight. May just be wishful thinking on easing into the jetlag... :confused3

Liz, we plan on ordering from Zazzle:

Mickey Mouse Club T-Shirts

I downloaded a pic, and will try to do the iron-ons from AmyMickey. I had bought several, and found some cheaper $2 shirts on sale, so I am anxious to see how they will turn out.

Reusable Hard Plastic BPA-free Tumbler

The Starbucks one above is used as an example (it is $15)

JCPenney has clear ones for $8 (on sale) currently. They are dishwasher safe, for cold beverage, includes the straw w/stop guard; the lid screws on (but is not guaranteed to be leakproof if tipped); oh yeah, it's 24 oz. Great for carrying a cold drink to Buena Vista or Walt Disney Theatre and not having your drink go watery so quickly (or keeping your water cool).

I love these cups! I prefer to drink from a straw and I love ICE COLD drinks so these work out perfect for me! I have two different ones and I carry them with me everywhere. Old Navy sometimes has them for $5. I think that's the cheapest I have found them without buying in bulk.

I don't see any problem. We actually rode around some when we got tired. The lower level is inside the bus and then they have an upper level that is open. On a nice day, it's really enjoyable so your 5 year old would probably like riding in the open air! There are earplugs you can plug in and as you go by certain sites, it will tell you about them. Kind of hard to understand sometimes but other times you can hear just fine. Now the buses can get crowded but you can always wait for the next one and hope it's less crowded. We really enjoyed using the bus.

We wanted to see Montesserat this time, but don't think it is going to work out. Our plane arrives around 10:30 am on Friday before the cruise and by the time we get checked into our hotel, don't think we will have much time to see Montesserat. We're right off Las Ramblas, so we are just going to take it easy and walk around (and of course, we'll be checking out El Corte Ingles!). One thing your 5 yr old might enjoy is the Magic Fountain Show (I think that is what is called). They have it on Friday night from 9:00 pm - 11:00 pm. We talked with a young married couple last year who thoroughly enjoyed it, so we decided we would do it this time. Suppose to be a beautiful lighted water fountain display.

Hope this helps!!! :)

just wanted to say a huge thank you to pat for the awesome job on the FE, not only is it easy to read, but i said i can't go over 49 cabins, and i've got 48 :thumbsup2 couldn't have worked that out any better!

What is Blandy's again? Can you remind us? Thanks!

Amanda

The Old Blandy Wine Lodge is in downtown Funchal and is where you can taste and take a tour of who Madeira wine is made.

Here is the Old Blandy Wine Lodge Link

If you decided you want to tour, please sign up for the 4:30 PM tour and let me know so I can note my spreadsheet.

Any other questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to PM me or post on the thread.

trying to figure a few things out:

candy swap - if we decide to join in, you give one piece per person in the room, right?

upgrades at the port - if we try for a port upgrade, we pay the price from the original category booked to the desired category dont we? ie: in theory if we booked an 11, but got a 9, if we wanted to pay to upgrade to a 7, we'd pay the 11 to 7 price, not the 9 to 11 price, right?
