Let me continue the anticipation by saying, maybe tomorrow will be the day for stateroom assignments!!!!!

Flubber!!!! This is awesome. As if I wasn't excited enough...I have ALWAYS wanted to play for a bit in the club. Now, if they would just let us try on a few princess costumes...

That's what I'm talking about!!!princess:princess:princess:

so far i've found that adults can:
make flubber
make foaming volcanoes
do the cars piston cup challenge
animation cells and invade the lab

sounds awesome for us big kids!

Last year on the EBTA they offered the Flubber a few different times - all at night. So keep an eye out. If someone misses the first one it doesn't mean they're out of luck completely.

We did have a great time and the crowds were no where near what we expected. Kids got to ride everything they wanted each day and some multiple times like Space Mt, Mt Everest, Test Track, Rockin Roller Coaster, etc. Most days were finished off going to the beach at Ft Wilderness and watching fireworks from Magic Kingdom. Gdaughter and I "dared" to ride the EPCOT People Mover 4 times. Ha!

Good to hear! We live in FL so we rarely stay on property and when we do its definitely not for such a long time, *sigh*.

Ft. Wilderness is such a fun place to stay.

Hi guys. Just called DCL, cancelled it..... Its too clear Im not even close to making it.

For the candy swap; both smootenloopers and just love eeyore have offered to step in. Thanks for that!. Think Its easiest if two of you decide who. As list with details like preference is on computer at home, I cant give it until Im home. However mainlist is on page 1 with the real important info.

For all; Enjoy this one a bit for me also. :)

Hi, I see it now that you canceled the cruise. I am so sorry to hear that. I know you look forward to it and now the operation was to late to recover in time. I am sorry that I don't get to meet you, because I was looking forward to that. I hope that you recover well and get a cruise soon.

Great to know about the Safeway thing.

We really live in Temecula but both work in SD so we claim it as our home since most people do not know where Temecula is. LOL USD is a great school.

I do! My middle DD Jennifer has friends who live there, plus we have done some wine tasting there.

USD is a great school and Samantha loved going there!

You are in no way being self centred Jacqueline. Goodness me, you have every reason to be sad and mad and for you to be able to come on here and vent that a little is a good thing for you.

We may not understand the medical issues Jacqueline, but who else could sympathize better about not being able to make the cruise, when each one of us has our hearts set on this vacation. So vent away :goodvibes

Auntlynne, that is the one!!! I love it so! :rotfl: I can't wait to use it on vacation. I worry about it's size though, it might be too small. ;)

I looked at buying that bag too, but was unsure as they don't show any interior pictures, would you mind taking some pictures when yours arrives? As for the size, DH and I have ones right now the exact same size, and I love it. We use it as a carryon and with the help of 'space saver bags' we use it as our only piece of luggage. (I don't like to check luggage) Of course if you travel with 12 pairs of shoes like some on this board it won't cut it :rolleyes1

Count Ed and I in on all of those, we would most especially love to paint the animation cells. Does it really take place during late dining?

I'll so be there! I love science! Thanks for the heads up:thumbsup2

Air Force. We stayed at KMC too and it was great. If after you can hop again and go back to Oahu you must try Bellows AFS. It's an on the beach military resort on the windward side. Much of Magnum PI was filmed there. http://bellowsafs.com/Default.asp. DW and I both are retired AF. I know you're looking forward to the hopping again. We went back to Hawaii in 1993 and took a cruise and saw more in 7 days than we did in 3 years. I didn't even know humpbacks migrated there until the cruise. We will all have to get together and share stories. We are so looking forward to the cruise. We did the EBTA last year and back to back med cruise and we're looking at a possible Med cruise to precede the WBTA back home. It's Barcelona, Sicily, Malta, Sardinia, Italy, Greece, Mallorca, and Croatia back to Barcelona on Sept 8; but not in that order.

Bellows is gorgeous, hope to be able to book a cabin there someday!

on the EBTA most of these things were well after late dining.

Yet Another FE Request

Okay, so I know I said I was making all the men's gifts the same "manly" colors, but I'm getting a bit tired of working with the same "manly" colors. Actually, I'm having too much fun playing with other color combinations. So...

If your DH (or male traveling companion) has a preference, or if you are a male (talking to you, Will, Michael, Josh, rest of the guys) who signed up for the FE and you have a color preference (that you haven't yet told me about), please send me a PM and tell me what it is.

If you don't care, I'll try to come up with something not too "girly." I promise I won't give you hot pink (or any pink) unless you ask for it.

I'm dragging my crochet stuff everywhere with me, madly trying to finish these things. I've not yet succumbed to the temptation to crochet while sitting in traffic... Only because we really don't have "traffic" around here.

Wouldn't it be cheaper to buy rum in the Caribbean ???? I am sure it would be a lot less than £10 - £15 over there :confused3:confused3

I read someplace that any alcohol purchased in St Maarten, and some other caribbean islands is not allowed to be opened until you leave the ship. If purchased in Madeira, Barcelona, Gibraltar is allowed for onboard consumption. If anyone can verify...

attention all cruisers taking the airport to port minibus:

i'm about to send PMs out to all of you with details of how to pay, it looks like the bus will likely be picking up from terminal one. the ones of us that get in early will have plenty of time to walk to terminal one, but the people coming in latest fly into terminal one, so it makes more sense to have the pick up there to cut down on time.
also the company allows one hour waiting time from the scheduled pick up in case anyone is delayed

6 Weeks today and we'll be leaving on a jet plane to BCN

I noticed this morning that OVG's and VGT's rates are back for the transatlantic, so DCL is still trying to cut deals to fill the ship! No more military rates though (they supposedly limit those to 50 cabins per category for military rates). I've started checking the DCL site daily thanks to you guys! :rotfl: I can see how its very possible for people to still book this cruise and get a great deal! I have yet to book airfare till I know what city I am flying to (hope to know Monday), though I did book my return last night from Orlando to Houston on Southwest Airlines. :)

Is anyone from the UK flying Easyjet? Or am I better off getting a British Airways or other airlines flight if I do a 1 or 2 nt layover in London? I figure my one bag will be under 20 kg, and I'll keep my carry on to 12 kg. Easyjet prices are terrific but I don't know what their other hidden costs might be.
Can anyone enlighten me please? :)

By the way, I remember someone mentioning earlier about whether or not a shuttle group exists from Orlando to the airport. If so, I would like to join in on that group. Anyone know? :confused3

We are flying Easyjet from London Gatwick into Barcelona on the 10th. It was included in our Virgin package, but generally the price that Easyjet quote you include all taxes etc there shouldnt be any hidden charges, unless you go over baggage limit of course. Hand luggage with them isnt monitored by weight it is measured by the size of the carry on bag.
Hope that helps!

6 weeks today we will be completeing our last day at work!:banana:

Can anyone give me some info on driving from WDW to Miami please?

The obvious route is to take the turnpike but what about the coastal route? Does it take much longer? Can you see much along the way? Any other information/tips you can give me?

Thanks :)

Easyjet nabbed me on carry-on fees. I had one purse and one roller bag.
DD was in the same situation. They charged me 100 euros for 2 extra "pieces". They were very sticky on the dimensions as well. If it's a choice between BA & EJ...I was say fly BA if the prices are similar, and if you tend to pack more.

How many people do you need transport for from the port to MCO in Florida?
What time is your flight?

Thanks for the feedback. Do you know the dimensions for carry ons? I have a US sized carry on 21" which was over the 12 kg weight when I flew back from Barcelona on Brussels Airlines. I just took out a packing cube with books and papers to get it to the weight, and I held that in my hand (like that made sense, as then I was carrying something extra!:confused3)

My flight leaves at 11:55am. Party of one. :)

I have never flown Easyjet, but my friend who worked with me at SWA and now lives in London has said that they charge for everything, so check the fine print before booking. BA may be a better choice if you factor in all add on fees.:confused3
