Attention all Madeira tour members and potential tour members

I am still finalizing details with Daniel taxi on our East and West tours but the tours are NOT full.

Once I get all the information sorted out, I will update the post on page one. The link takes a few seconds to load as it is a large file.

Post on page One Link:

Noel a few questions about the west tour, does that still include Monte and taboggans. Do we have to eat in the restaurant on the tour?

Is it allowed to brag a little?

As some of you might remember I signed up for the wine and dine ½ marathon on October 1th. so I been training for a quite some time now.

I signed myself up for some women races to stay motivated, and have done 2 10 k's so fare (and a 5 k). I'm not a fast runner so both times I finished in 1.07.something, but today I did my third and finished in 59.57:cheer2::cheer2::cheer2: I'm so proved of myself:banana:

This will give me the opportunity to start in an early coral giving me more time to finish the half:cool1::cool1:.

Whoo hoo .. good for you :cheer2:

This is what happens with a fish pedicure :)

Farewell DIS lunch on the last sea day?????

Are people still interested in this? I heard it mentioned once a long time ago but nothing since?

If people want to do this, then let me know names & numbers and i'll keep a list & add it to my post on the first page. :thumbsup2

Count us (Pat & Dennis) in, too!

Oops, got to run to the second job. :sad2:

Is anyone considering this? I believe there has to be 4 people in the group to go. We are interested if anyone else is thinking about it.

Hi There,

We arrive in Barcelona on 9th and would also be interested in the Hard Rock meet.

Look forward to seeing you all in September

WElcome aboard Paul, Helen and Grace. We are Sarah and Tony from Wales and it is our second WBTA, 3rd Disney cruise in total. I will add you to the Hard Rock list :thumbsup2

Claire, just tell me what time, date and where and I will add.

Thanks Noel. Yes, the details might help! :lmao: Here is the info i'm going to post on the first page....

Come & join us for a farewell DIS lunch on the last sea day. Thursday 22nd Sept at 12.15pm, we are not sure which of the three rotational restaurants will be open on that day, should there be more than one open I have put them in order of preference - 1st Lumiere's, 2nd Parrot Cay or 3rd Animator's Palate.

Please make sure you check your Navigator that morning to see which restaurant is open for lunch as I won't be able to tell you in advance.

Please PM me if you'd like to join us and I will add you to the list, then once onboard notify the restaurant so they can seat us together at some large tables.

Count us (Pat & Dennis) in, too!

Oops, got to run to the second job. :sad2:

Added. :thumbsup2

They are more you watch the chefs cook, but I think they are very popular. I believe you get to taste the dishes too.

We did a few of these cooking demonstrations on the EBTA last year. They were fun and you got to observe the dish being made, then they gave out recipes to take home and a sample of the dish. It was fun!

Thanks for the info! The islands we have taken land vacations on have had those tree-lined beaches (like St John, Bequia, Kauai...), so we would always just lay under the shade of the seagrape trees.... ahhhh... but the times we have been on St Maarten for cruises, have not made it to Orient. I do remember a little Bacardi restaurant on the French side from our first visit there - loved that little place!

Yeah, using natures umbrellas is definitely nice. But there are lots and lots of beach clubs along Orient Beach where you can rent. We didn't visit Orient Beach our first time to St. Martin either, but we went last time and it was so beautiful, we kicked ourselves for not doing it the first time.

Just be careful with those beach umbrellas or you could end up with a video like this :rotfl::rotfl:

Thanks for the info on Petit Palace, I will have to look into that one :goodvibes

LOL! Luckily Orient Beach does not have planes flying overhead like Maho Beach does.

Not a chance on the planet am I going to let carp nibble on my feet. I looked it up on google and saw a demo.

Demo

OMG! That seriously creeps me out. eww eww eww!

Did you book them once you were onboard? If so was that at guest services?

We have one of these new fish spa places just opened on a popular shopping street in town. I walk past it every day almost and it is always busy with men as well as women. They have a couple of the tanks in the window at each end, so you sit in full view. YUK!

its an open thing, no need to book, times will be in the navigators. its something along the lines of "art of entertaining"

Cool, thanks. I'll keep an eye out for it. :thumbsup2

Are you doing the farewell lunch or was you just asking about which restaurant? Let me know if you want to be added to the list. :)
