My bear, Dimples, and my roommate's bear Yampa come on our cruises too.
Dimples wonders if Winnie would like her to bring him a new red shirt?
The poor lady that was dropped in the sea when she was being evacuated didn't make it.....she died today. RIP.![]()
Happy Easter everyone! I was up until the wee hours reading through tip threads and Disney threads and excursion threads. We don't cruise for 4 and 1/2 months, so I need to start pacing myself a little better!
On this trip I'll be traveling with my 2 sons, 4 and 7. I originally had early dining but then I started to think about the time change (the ship time at sailing will be 6 hours ahead of our home time) and switched to late seating. In addition, it seems that Disney does the large table/mixed group seating. I've done that when cruising before I had kids, but with the kids I'm only used to having our own table.
So my question is - is anyone else with younger kids doing the late seating? One of the things I'm looking forward to on a Disney cruise is other kids at dinner. And if we are going to be at a large table it would be great if there were some other kids there so they could maybe entertain each other.
Happy Easter everyone.
Claire - that's a lovely gazebo and your dogs are gorgeous. They look full of energy
I thought the same as Karen...your garden is huge!![]()
Unfortunately I am on a healthy eating programme all the time nowadays, pre cruise or otherwise. But I hope you all enjoy your chocolate binges!!! I am with you in spirit.
I would love a slice of Simnel Cake too, with the extra layer of marzipan in the middle preferably.![]()

Mine has been quiet and chocolate free![]()
Hi There
Generally dining tables are between 4 and 10 I believe, and Disney does aim to sit similar groups together, families with families, couples with couples,
Most people with children do tend to do the early sitting, on last years WBTA I think there were almost no children on the late dining, certainly non I can remember in the DIS crowd.
As for the time difference you really don't notice it, as it's done an hour at a time over several nights it just kind of creeps up on you.

Here's the photo of the Gazebo we put together earlier.....it looks so lovely that i'm rather annoyed we left it sitting in a box for so long.
And whilst i'm in Photobucket here are a couple of photos of my doggies playing on their favourite toy, an old rope tied to a tree with a hoop tied on the bottom.![]()
the gazebo looks lovely and you've got gorgeous dogs - however i've gotta admit that the first thing that went through my head when i saw that photo was "claire's got a HUGE garden!".
cerby would love a garden that big![]()
I am being very good - DD2 is sitting next to me eating her egg and I am not having any!
Thank you everyone for the kind birthday wishes. I had a lovely day looking forward to chilling out on Easter Monday
Hope you've all had a lovely Easter break![]()
I hope everyone had a great Easter.
Mine has been quiet and chocolate free![]()
We spent time on a plane today, so it was pretzels and avocados /bananas I threw into my carryon. No chocolate![]()
Quiet and chocolate free too for me and DH. DS and DD have chocolate, but I'm asking them to keep it away from me. Determined to loose a few more pounds before the cruiseI think I will have to visit the gym each day though while on board to make sure I don't regain it over the 14 days

I should have thought to do this before I changed my cruise, but better late than never...maybe? Sorry, just didn't think, duh!
So, some of you know I was booked on this cruise and fell pregnant, so we've changed to Hawaii in April 2012. So I released my room for the TA, It was room 7506 in case any one wants to ring DCL and try to get it.![]()
