I know Disney take your luggage to the airport BUT will they take my luggage direct to one of their resorts?

I have booked some points from a DVC member if that makes any difference?

Bell services will take your luggage Mel. It doesn't matter if you are renting points or not

If you are meaning do DCL transport your luggage direct and you go on the bus to your resort then no. You have to collect your bags and take them with you. They go in the bottom of the bus you travel on. You get them when you reach your resort and can then leave them at Bell services yourself if your room isn't ready.

I asked this question myself for when we docked in LA this last January as we were taking the DCL bus to a DL hotel. It is such a shame!

We also handed in our passports and got them stamped, although not one from Castaway Cay ... will definitely have to see about getting that stamp!
So the European ports wouldn't let Disney get the passport stamped or they just don't generally stamp them?

I too am working on fitting into a purple dress .. no back up dress .. must. fit. will. fit.

I will check with DH why we didn't get them stamped in Europe, not sure if it was port protocol or whether it was DCL who didn't get them stamped.

The Castaway Cay stamp is the official name of the Island in the Abacos, Bahamas.

Perhaps we did then ..... I wonder if Brent will be joining us again ... he was so funny. It used to make us laugh that he said exactly the same things everytime he gave us that chat in the theatre.

I love Brent we have had him on a few of our cruises, I like Peter as well.

He was a bit repetative, but we all just laughed at his chats, we knew what was coming next by the second week

Just wanted to share the Senior Prom pictures and the 8th grade graduation dance pictures for my two GD's Aspen and Bailey.

What a beautiful picture Noel, the girls look gorgeous

Last year, the semi formal(I think) was the Prince and Princess menu and theme. Many ladies dolled themselves up and tiaras were a plenty. Will you be taking a tiara if we have that night?

Theme night was Villains as mentioned before. Again, if it is going to be held again, and I see no reason why not with the Villains show on the Magic. Are any of you going to dress up as a villain or do as was our Dis group theme, wear black and purple?

All adds to the fun!!

I haven't seen a purple dress that I like yet, so I am opting for one of my black numbers with my purple wrap

And for those wanting to create their own DISigns and not use a common DIS tshirt, here is what I had typed up earlier this morning and placed on our new thread:
Another option is to create a VistaPrint account for yourself and upload the raw images (found in this folder). With VistaPrint online, choose the shirt you want, go to Advanced Editing, and import your images to arrange however you like. There are also more images available on the DISboards Creative DISigns thread here. Just use the search feature if you are looking for a name, or click on any of the DISigners' "shared" files to look for graphics that have already been created. If you are sure one has not been created (such as a Mickey Head with your name on it) then post to the DISigner's thread according to their instructions. With these DISigns, you can make your own tshirts (AmyMickey.com has GREAT transfer paper with your inkjet printer) or make your own magnets. It can take the DISigners several weeks due to the backlog of requests, so just be patient and plan well in advance!

Well my champagne girls tiara is a plastic thing with fur on so I think it would look a more ugly sister rather than Princess really!!!!

There is a show one night, I think called Disney Villains(someone correct me if I'm wrong). After late dinner they have a Masquerade ball in the foyer where you can wear your masks. There has been time to make them during the day on other cruises. The villain characters are out and about. Some great photo opportunities with characters you don't see much.

We just have to wait and see if the Med cruises still have this.

They are very talented....they must have lots of patience also. I know I was quite frazzled yesterday just doing mine.

According to the rep I spoke with when calling, that is correct. Just call VistaPrint M-F, give them the ID #, and you can order from that alone. I just added two "front only" tshirts. Curt and I have always liked the "front pocket" image plus back, so that is why those were there.

ETA: If you guys make an order today (or soon) - will you please let us know if the ordering process went okay? Mandy it did not work 2 dif agents could not pull up tees with ur id # they said they need ur full name and acct number. i gave them mine but it didnt help. i wanted both front only ship and map in xl...boohoo what to do now?

I'm not sure what to do. Either go to Boardwalk first check in and dump luggage, that way the kids will know early on that we're not going home that night or just going straight to a park and check in later and pretend that we're on the way to the airport

If I do the latter can I show conf letter at the car park to get free parking
