Saw the Pirates win on Friday night Going to see them again on Wednesday against the Braves... Checking out the rest of the tourist stuff like Kenywood, Heinz Museum etc
. We are staying with friends in Upper Saint Claire.
Having a great time.
The weather is better than the UK!
Pittsburgh a FAB city!!!

I was recently in Pittsburgh for work, and we ate at this awesome seafood place, I think it was called Monterey Bay...it had wonderful food and amazing views of the rivers and downtown...definently worth a visit!

We just got back from seeing POTC4. It was pretty good. Not my favorite - I kind of miss Will and Elizabeth - but Johnny Depp could read the phone book to me, as long as he's dressed as Captain Jack!

Not telling any more about it, though. You'll have to wait and see it for yourselves.

I loved Pirates 4, particularly the London scenes. I echo your sentiments re Johnny Depp ...... I think I still preferred the direction of Gore Verbinski though and I missed some of the minor characters like Pintel, Ragetti etc

Have you seen the crew perform 'if I were not upon the sea'? Well Brent was the ballerina and that picture with the lipstick was taken after the show

I get it .... we saw Brent do this too on the WBTA last year and it was hysterical

Just wanted to share the Senior Prom pictures and the 8th grade graduation dance pictures for my two GD's Aspen and Bailey.

I am sorry that it has taken awhile to get back to this thought. I am on the concierge level and on two separate occasions I have contacted the DCL concierge staff to see if I could help get the tea organized. The final response is that they can't reserve any more space for me than the size of my cabin while still precruise. If we would pick an official date then several cabins would need to reserve tables to get enough space. Each table accomodates up to 4 people. As you were told, the other suggestion from DCL was to wait until on the ship and then see if there was an opportunity to get this organized.

After contacting DCL several times, I have PM'd everyone who is taking part in the High Tea & we are going to try & individually book then once onboard I will go to Palo and arrange for them to seat us together.

Thanks Mandy...I'm just wondering whether I will be having to pay duty on them if they are delivered from the USA.

I did look on the site and they say some things are shipped from the USA and some are from Europe...didn't say what though.

Can you let me know what happens Michelle. I wasn't going to order from them as I tink you will get charged customs fee's.

We did that on last year's WBTA, handed the passports into guest services, as Stevie wanted to get our passports stamped in every port. Unfortunately the European ports wouldn't entertain it, but as soon as we got to the caribbean we got stamps from St Maarten, Tortola and Castaway Cay

I had heard it but not tried it so that is good to know, I will definately be doing that.

i'm wondering if this is just me or not? i found that skit mildly amusing, but just dont see it as hilariously funny as a lot of people seem to.

They did reply to my emails, just not willing/able to book it.

Therefore the only way we can do it is by hoping everyone who wants to go can book the same date online individually then when on the ship I can get Palo to seat us together.

I must say I am disappointed with DCL's customer service this year, it's not up to their usual standards.

I got one for boarding day and one for Pirate Night. I used Mandy's blank Pirate Night photo and tried to get as close to her design as possible.

I know Disney take your luggage to the airport BUT will they take my luggage direct to one of their resorts?

I have booked some points from a DVC member if that makes any difference?
