A question to those of you who have experience with P20 once a day sun tan lotion. We too belong to the "burn at the sight of the sun brigade". I have read reviews that clothes are stained and completely ruined by the lotion. What is your personal experience please?

Thanks a lot,
Carole

Wow! Just back from a crazy dash to the vets.

I was sitting here posting on the dis with my cup of tea an hour or so again and Stamy's head just started pouring with blood and we couldn't get it to stop. It seems to be ok at the moment though, the vet thinks it was a pool of blood under the skin from where the lump was removed. Gave me a fright though! Meanwhile my house looks like something out of a horror movie.....guess I better go clean up!

wow that must have been a worry, hope he is alright now and continues getting better,

Yes, I would agree that clothes could get stained with P20. I only use it for sunbathing as it doesn't affect the swimwear. I got some of it on my white terry-towelling Mickey Mouse beach cover up last year's on the WBTA, but that washed out absolutely fine. I wouldn't like to get it on nice clothes though, I use a separate lotion if I am walking around in the sun exposed for any length of time.

I would still recommend P20 for sea days or beach days when you have lots of exposure to the sun and it is quite water resistant too.

Oh how cute is Minnie :lovestruc What a gorgeous girl, Stevie would love her to bits, he is daft about labradors, but I won the toss unfortunately and we got Yorkies :rotfl2: talk about one extreme to the other :lmao:

My two little horrors go everywhere because of their size, cheeky little monkeys. They just give you that, I love my Mum look, and they get away with murder :lmao:

Only place in our house that is a no-no is our bed, they are not allowed on there by Dad's decree (but I sneak them in when he's not there) funny how they know never to try it when he's around, but jump straight in when it's just me :rotfl2:

Thanks Mary :) Neil also loves Lab's, it was him who put his foot down and said he wanted a Lab...our first one was supposed to be his for his birthday, but ended up our eldest DD's favourite.

Ours come to bed with us, but are not allowed on the bed. We do have a super king bed but if all 3 got up there we'd have no room:laughing: Plus they are always shedding their coats!

LOL's sneaking them in when Stevie's not around...if he didn't know he sure is going to know now:rotfl2:

:rotfl:

That is so funny, we have ours covered by blankets too. When I'm washing the blankets, mine still go on the sofa's they don't care! They know that they are theirs. Their bed is right next to the sofa's too.

They are not allowed on the sofa's in the front room though, that is one place where they're not allowed.

I must admit ours go everywhere. Including our bed! Pretty much every night whilst we are in the lounge watching tv, about 7pm Stamy takes himself off upstairs & goes to sleep on our bed. :lmao:

They don't sleep in our room though. They have two crates (which we joined together to make a massive one) in the spare room, we got Stamy a crate when he was about 6 months old as he was a nightmare when we left him during the day, even if it was just for ten minutes, he would howl, scratch the doors and chew the door handles. Now he is fine in his cage, just goes to sleep. Bailey had one from day dot and loves it, if she see's us getting ready to go out she runs upstairs and gets in her bed.

Oh look at his wee face all squashed up from the big bandage :guilty: what a handsome boy, they always look so sad with the buckets on

I'm glad he's okay after the panic this morning, that must have been awful, I would have been hysterical

Thanks, i've just about recovered. ;) He doesn't seem too bad, has just been sleeping all morning which is a good thing. It has bled a little bit but not as bad as it was this morning.

We were lucky as we both have always wanted Boxers so there was only one choice for us.....I guess it's because they are as crazy as we are! ;)

wow that must have been a worry, hope he is alright now and continues getting better,

Thanks Susie.

Gee it's raining here, Thank God, finally something diffrent. For those of you who live other than in New York and New Jersey, that was sarcasm. It has been raining here probably since Saturday on and off. I feel like calling Noah and collecting animals two x two. Some sun would be lovely about now.

Aww poor thing...how cute does she look though :)

I know how you fele. My poor kitty had to wear a cone for 5 years. He had horrible skin allergies. He was allergic to grain. It took us 4 years to find that out. He has since passed, but it was the saddest 5 years of my life. I hope your dog only has to wear it a few days.

Noel, I will pay you for the pins when I get paid next week. I hope that is OK. I already sent you money for the lanyards are we are not participating in the FE gifts. Barely enough room for clothes and I have absolutley no creativity. Looking forward to the SM though.

LOL's your climate sounds the same as ours. I got caught this morning in a down pour whilst taking the dogs out:( At the moment it's very cloudy and rain looking promising again.
I would love some heat on my bones.

Ain't happenin' here! Thank heavens we live on high ground!

Happy Day, all!

Awww Zoe looks so cute. Bless her, it sounds like she was one smart cookie. :lovestruc

Pat, what a gorgeous dog, she sounds like she was a very switched on girl :lovestru

Thank you! Zoe was one in a million. Everyone was amazed at how connected she and I were. I had her before I met Dennis. She was the first pet he ever had, even though she considered him lower in the pack. Zoe's pecking order was: me, her, Dennis, and George. At least he out-ranked George. :rotfl:

OMG!! I would've had a heart attack! Glad he's doing better, poor baby.

:lmao: Mine live on the sofa too, we have two blankets on two of the sofa's and they both know they are only allowed on the blankets & not the part without. ;) What big softies we are.

The only time they go on their actual bed is when we are in the kitchen as we have one in there for them too.

Ours have the run of the house - and the furniture! It's actually part of my evil plan. The furniture is Dennis's and it's all old and ugly. I figure if the dogs help the process along a bit, he'll finally break down and agree to get new furniture. ;) :rotfl:

We've got a superking as well, so you wouldn't know they were in the bed anyway they are so little :lmao: They have their own bed in our bedroom next to my side of the bed, so they are quite happy there.

Just hope Stevie doesn't read this when he is catching up on the boards :rotfl2:

When we got married. I had left my yorkie at home because he was too old to uproot and move away, especially with me working full time so left him with my Mum, and Stevie had left a labrador at home.

As soon as we were married, we both felt there was a huge gap with no dogs to walk or greet you when you got home and it was awful :sad2:

I said I wanted a yorkie and Stevie said he wanted a lab, so we took a toss for it and I won (thank goodness ) we've just stuck with yorkies since then and now have number 3 & 4, Tod & Copper, who are brothers from the same litter. I don't blame him, but Stevie refuses to walk them on a lead and only does walks with them in the open countryside where we live :lmao:

I have to say they are crazy little guys and full of character. We don't keep them with long hair and give them haircuts like Westies, so they look a bit more butch than the long haired versions :thumbsup2

:rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2: You are wicked Pat :woohoo: Love the way your mind works :thumbsup2

Send some up here Susie..I'm freezing.

For once we have sunshine in Scotland and a nice bright day :woohoo::woohoo:
