What I am doing is allowing people to contribute via my PayPal account. I will figure out a way to acknowledge them both here on the DIS and perhaps if there is enough room, I can do something on the graphic.

We are thinking of booking this cruise. Is anyone going from Central florida, Tampa or Orlando area. If so what kinda of deals on flights have you found. thanks Cindy

Not from that area either, but we found one-way flights from Kansas City using 1800flyeurope.com for $480/adult and $390/child when the flights first came out. They've gone up since then. We're on American. Same flights on aa.com are $1600.

I just checked there and from Miami via Philadelphia to Barcelona is around $535. A little bit higher, but still less than $600 out of Orlando. Rates aren't too bad if you use consolidators. You sit toward the back of the plane and save around $1000 per ticket. Seems like a nice trade-off to me. I've flown on consolidator tickets in the past and the feeling of knowing you probably got the best price on the flight is satisfying, too.

This is my old dog Zoe, when she was undergoing treatment for kidney failure.


She had to have IV fluids to try to kickstart her kidneys again. When they first put her in the kennel at the vets, she didn't have the cone on. They told me later that she had the IV out of her leg in under 5 minutes, hence the cone. I had to continue the IV at home. It was obvious how much she hated the cone, so I told her I'd take it off, but if she messed with the IV, it was going back on and she would have to sleep in a crate (which she hadn't done for years). When I took her back to the vets the following day, they asked how I got her to leave the IV alone and I said, "I told her she'd have to wear the cone if she didn't." They couldn't believe that, but that's the way Zoe was - for me. Alas, the treatments didn't work, and we lost her two weeks later. But she was truly an amazing dog - scary smart! Best. Dog. EVER.

This is her during better days.

Awww Zoe looks so cute. Bless her, it sounds like she was one smart cookie.

Wow! Just back from a crazy dash to the vets.

I was sitting here posting on the dis with my cup of tea an hour or so again and Stamy's head just started pouring with blood and we couldn't get it to stop. It seems to be ok at the moment though, the vet thinks it was a pool of blood under the skin from where the lump was removed. Gave me a fright though! Meanwhile my house looks like something out of a horror movie.....guess I better go clean up!

That photo of Minnie made me LOL, my two always sleep half on their bed & half on the floor.

I found this pic of Stamy too, so sad. This was from last May, he had a malignant tumour removed and they had to take most of his inner ear away, he was in so much pain. It broke my heart.

That is so funny, we have ours covered by blankets too. When I'm washing the blankets, mine still go on the sofa's they don't care! They know that they are theirs. Their bed is right next to the sofa's too.

My two little horrors go everywhere because of their size, cheeky little monkeys. They just give you that, I love my Mum look, and they get away with murder

Only place in our house that is a no-no is our bed, they are not allowed on there by Dad's decree (but I sneak them in when he's not there) funny how they know never to try it when he's around, but jump straight in when it's just me
