What is the worst start to someone moving onto your street you ever had?

Having your cat trapped and taken to the pound. Our neighbor did that to two other neighbors, then built a wall in our driveway to keep us from using our driveway. Lawsuit, mitigation (that he then refused to do his part of) and in the process 2 of our cats dissappeared. Coincidence? Not a chance in hell.

LSS, I would gladly trade you for the neighbor with the cat poo.

Well I deleted my neighborhood photos.. this is the morning but gives you an idea of what every lot looks like in the neighborhood .....to make good neighbors and civility... that dream is over

It started 20 years ago as a retired community for winter visitors and year round in Yuma wilderness... but the concept of owning a winter home is disappearing and owners can no longer sell to the next winter visitor.. property sits and eventually sells...to a family.. which in this case rehab mustang for racing... the street and yard is a junk yard and full of noise... which means the folks next door to them for 20 years... cannot sell their home until the next family makes an offer...7 years ago no families... now we have 3 and none clean their yard of weed debris

A couple years ago, our good neighbor (no kidding she was absolutely great) ended up selling her house and moving. The house ended up being purchased by some guy in like Arizona sight unseen as an investment. As a result, we have a rental house next door to us.

That first batch of renters was a mistake. He rented to two young single men (and one had a large dog) to share. Yep, they were about as irresponsible as you would imagine. I just called them Beavis and Butt-Head

The dog chewed up some wires on the air conditioner unit , TWICE in one week when they first moved in.

It kind of went downhill from there... the dog ended up chewing through an outbuilding door, he tore up the house, he would bark all night if they put him outside, he also dug under the fence and would get out and roam the neighborhood. The one roommate (Butt-Head) ended up (the one who owned the dog), ended up moving out and shacking up with some girl, leaving the dog and the other roommate (Beavis) and the dog alone together. People in the neighborhood were complaining to Beavis about the dog and all the noise. He was like always "this is not my dog".

After a lot of complaints, the dog "mysteriously disappeared" It seems that Beavis accidentally left the gate open one day, and the dog got out and wandered off. (yes, the dog couldn't be kept in the fence anyway, but leaving the gate open caused him to wander off to never be seen again, but that is "the official story" according to Beavis).

Thankfully Beavis moved out at the end of the lease, the investor learned to not rent to two guys in their early 20's. The other neighbors have been fine.
