John has been working on a basic website for our cruise from which we can create DIS Navigators.

Before we add the content to the site, would people please click on the link below and give us some feedback.

The site is not discoverable on the net, you must have the link to access. We can make it a users only site if people want by asking people to submit their email addresses to access the site.

Having a website makes keeping track of the details much easier - Tigfanjeff made one for the PC cruise and it got used A LOT!

Upthread, people were talking about low capacity. In cruises with low capacity, does the cruise ship automatically upgrade people, or do you have to specifically ask?

(yes, I know I sound obsessed with an upgrade - I will ask at the port - but I just want to make this special, and with 4 people in a cabin, every extra foot counts!)

from what i've heard elsewhere, low capacity means less likely to get an upgrade - a free one anyway. if they don't need to move you (category isn't full), they usually won't.

i'll have to look @ the website when i get home - & off my phone!

W are planning on going to Maho ... just thought we could get a taxi there, as we probably won't want to stay there all day. I suppose we could all share taxis.

My DH and I have lived in St Martin 5 years ago (actually we have started dating there!! lol), we are more than happy to go back even for one day

Maho Beach (known also as "Kerosene Beach" because of the smell ) is a funny place to visit!
The "Sunset Beach" bar is ok, you have some shops (deluxe) and casinos not far away but I would recommend to spend maximum 2 hours there...more and you get bored

My DH and I, we will probably go to Grand Case and then to Pinel Island (French side) it's one of our favorite place in St Martin

I like the idea of having it as a users only site. Please let us know if we need to send a PM with our respective e-mail addresses.

One suggestion...and not being in the least tech savvy, I have no idea how feasible it is... but would it be possible to have a page with the roll call for main and late dining too? Or perhaps we could capture this information on the main roll call page along with cabin numbers?
