Sept 1 2012 disney fantasy

Quick question and sorry for being off topic....but for the people who live in FL or have done different things here's a question.....what else fun is there to do besides all the parks and beaches in FL? We have travel there a lot growing up but want to know if I'm missing out on anything good?

Natural Springs are pretty here, hiking at national parks, bike riding, fishing, deep sea fishing, fresh water fishing..

My DH and I just booked this cruise and I decided to check out the cruise meets. My DD just moved to Whitefish Bay WI and I was there for 3 weeks in June. Very nice area. Going back up on 20 Aug and will be flying back here on the 30th of Aug to pack and go on cruise. Bad things happen in this world but good things happen also. We can't let the bad destroy the good. Is your happy place Disney? If so, I hope you have a wonderful time here. My DH and I both work at Disney as seasonal cast members and we love it.

Hi everyone. I'm new here. My family and I are long time cruisers but first time Disney cruisers.

I just recently learned about fish extenders and the fun of the whole program. Anyway, I know this is late notice but I was wondering I anyone might me interested in getting together a last minute FE group.

There is another FE group for this cruise but it is full due to such a wonderful response.

Is anyone out there interested? If so, please let me know. I am new to all of his but I am excited and hopeful that there may be a few families left out there who are interested.

Do you always stay at same place when you go to Disney or do you try new places?

Well this time pop cuz the rooms are only 67 bucks a night I have stayed all over though plus my mom has a Rci timeshare so we stay there when we go with her. We try to go with the best deals most of the time

Aw I'm so jealous of you guys lol yah my happylace is Disney and well any where in Florida lol I'd move down there if my whole family moved with me I live right on the border of il the southeast corner of the state called Kenosha. I've heard of whitefish bay a lot never have been there tho. What do you do at Disney??

Yes that is one you have to book early! We haven't tried it yet but I want to after they finish all the renovations in fantasy land so I can invite more extended family! : )

I work at Cirque in the concession stand. I have to do 150 hours a year but I always do more. My daughter use to live in Gurnee IL (before she moved to Whitefish Bay) and we use to drive up to Kenosha. Whitefish Bay is a neat town and I love the fact that I can walk to the stores and the bus system is fantastic. While I was there I took my DGS and DGD on the bus to the Museum and Zoo. First time I took a state-side city bus in almost 50 years. I did not miss having a car at all. Looks like the tropics are heating up with tropical systems. My DH said that the cruise right now had to change to the Eastern Caribbean. Let's keep our fingers crossed that the weather is good for our cruise.

Hi! We're late to the game, but have just booked two GTY rooms for myself, DH, DD(17), DD(15), DS(7) and my parents who will also be celebrating an anniversary on 9/4 (their 52nd).

Really glad to see that there are other teens on-board (my girls were worried). I've sent them the teen link and hope they will engage. My seven year old son gets along with all kids - older and younger; male or female. (Currently he's playing the aqua duct video over and over and over....)

I appreciate all the great advice. My parents and I have cruised before but this is our first Disney Cruise and none of the others have been on one and we are all very very excited!!

What a small world haha we go to Gurnee at least once a week lol to go to the Disney store lol. When we go up north it's to tomahawk in laws have a cabin probably why we don't venture to much else lol
