Sensing Pixie Dust I Am! A Star Wars Weekend PTR! New PTR Link pg. 77!

:rotfl: You'll be fine!!! :rotfl: I think I enjoyed reading them (just finished the second one) because you can really picture exactly where they are.....even if it is in IASW :rotfl2: Just kidding MeMom

Tracy

That's so true -- no matter where they are in the parks, you can see it so clearly in your mind. I love it!

Speaking of books that creep a person out, has anyone seen this book or read it? I am thinking of ordering it.

Just looked it up :thumbsup2 That looks like a good read....hey MeMom are you in on this one? ;) I requested that it be available on Kindle...who knows what they really do when you click that option....although I did that with the Kingdom Keepers and they became available :rolleyes1

After reading the second one I really want to check out the Tigers in AK :rotfl2:

Tracy

Picture me with my hands over my ears and my eyes shut as I sing
'It's a small happy not a bit scary world after all,
because I did not read the books....'

Someone has to be strong and sane for when all of you come running and screaming about dolls coming after you.
And then there's something about bats?
No, I don't want to know about it.

It's bad enough that some little clown on a commercial I have seen this week freaks me out. The family is trying to get rid of him by UPS or FedEx or mail or something, and he creeps up on them. :scared1:

I don't want the cute little surfer dude and dancing girls and drummer boys to be anything other than happy at all times. :goodvibes

Forever.

Amen.

Lego is also releasing Diagon Alley this month -- I think Connor might need that one, too. ;)

The ice is slowly melting during the day, but the nighttime lows are making everything freeze again. It feels like it's been around forever!

That stinks! Did you make it to school okay? Staff reported here today, but not the students. We are waiting to hear what tomorrow will be like.

Ohhh I need to add that to the Lego list! I cannot wait for Legoland to open in Florida in October. Betweent Legoland and the Fantasyland expansion, we're going to need a month for our 2012 trip :rotfl:

I hope it warms up soon and melts that ice!

I can't believe kids have been out of school all week! That is crazy! How was your commute to school today? I didn't bother to attempt to go out yesterday, but today's commute was easy. The roads were clean.

I also downloaded the Kingdom Keepers and Small World will never be the same. I might need to ask MeMom to have the Dis meet at another ride. I am also not sure about the pirates.

That's the very reason I won't read the Kingdom Keepers books! :scared1:
If you can't do Small World, you can join us on the Carrousel. Is that safe? ;)

I promise to be brave, and ride Small World, but I am keeping an eye on the dolls and not riding on the outside. I am about finished with book two and might to lured into downloading book 2.

Picture me with my hands over my ears and my eyes shut as I sing
'It's a small happy not a bit scary world after all,
because I did not read the books....'

:lmao: I had the best little fun reading this chatter about the Kingdom Keepers series...you ladies are so FUN...really I am not making fun of you.

IASW is my MOST favorite attraction...and I'm here to testify...I read all 3 books and have just about gone through every attraction described in the books and I can still live to write about it ;) hehehe those books are so good. I bought the series for my son for his b-day last yr (11) and he laughed at me when I said I don't know...how can we go on IASW after reading this :rotfl:

it's all good :goodvibes

so Jackie are you going crazy yet? I keep reading my Aunt's FB posts...no good I tell you :sad2:

Oh and MeMom I agree clowns...no thank you

I have no problems with clowns but that commercial freaks me out too!
:clown:

As for the KK books. I actually think about it more in Winnie the Pooh. The rain, rain, rain.

MeMom you should read them. Just skip ahead if it gets too scary. :rolleyes1

Now we're bringing in the fluffy little bear?
Is anything left unharmed in these evil books??? :scared1:
They better not mess with my boy, Eeyore!!!

I like books that start with Once upon a time and end with They lived happily ever after and were never ever afraid to ride any ride at Disney World. ::yes::

Well, Jackie, you and Anita have me curious...what IS in snow? Do I dare ask? :rotfl2:

Are your doggies liking the snow it still? Mine is no longer thrilled by it. When my dad picked me up from work last night, he said, "well, Caesar has gone into snow mode." I asked if he was finally enjoying it again, and my dad said, "oh, no. He went into a coma as soon as he saw it all." He could not get my little 27 pound dog past the front yard to do anything, he just kept on planting his feet and refusing to move!

It's bad enough that some little clown on a commercial I have seen this week freaks me out. The family is trying to get rid of him by UPS or FedEx or mail or something, and he creeps up on them. :scared1:

I'm terrified of clowns and my mom saw that commercial a couple of weeks ago. She told my dad that she didn't ever want me to see it. I saw it on my own last night and I was horrified. I very rarely watch TV and now I pretty much never want to watch it as long as there's a chance of seeing that commercial. :lmao:

Hey Jackie! So glad to see you have another PTR up and running! :goodvibes But geez...it is already so long. Thank goodness for your links!;)

If truth be told, I think I still have to read the end of your other TR too. Shame, I know! I got mighty behind on Dising over the holidays and I am still catching up.

As mentioned, I used your links, so I apologize if this has already been asked and answered, but are your kids (and you) out for the summer by end of May? Or is it a trip coinciding with the long weekend?

As much as I am a devotee and lover of CBR, I think you made a good call with CSR, especially since you will have a car! CBR worked for me and DD4 at the time, but I would not want to sleep 2 larger people to a double bed. That alone gives CSR the edge. Add in the nicest and most recently refurbished rooms and what is not to love? I can't wait to hear your impressions of it.

Loved reading about your snow-in day. And I have to tell you....with your hair down I seriously thought that picture of you was Chelsea!!! You look like a teenager. With no makeup to boot! Charles better hang onto you girl!

Looking forward to sharing all the pre-trip excitement with you!:goodvibes

Okay I have missed the whole Kingdom Keeper saga -- I have the first book, we started to read it, but Griffin didn't seem to get into it. I am thinking next year... he is totally enthralled by HP and so I know he will like it when he is ready. HOWEVER I had no idea it (they) can make MK scary??!! I am with you MeMom, who wants to read a book if you have to second guess all the little people in Its a Small World? Should I be concerned when I go past the Aztec pyramid or the hot air balloons which swing overhead??!! ;) Do they come to life??!! What is it??!! :rotfl:

No wait. Don't tell me! I'd rather remain blissfully unawares!

Well....you might second guess more than just the little people. Just sayin'

I am glad it was Splash we got stuck on, not ITSW, Splash is untouched in the books so far. Though honestly, I wish I'd read them before our trip as I'd have looked at OMD in a new light!

Peter and the Starcatchers is far better writing but when they get a bit older, the darkness of KK is kind of cool too. Not remotely as dark as the later HP books though.

It's been awhile since I read the 1st one, but it seems like I remember something about Spash in it - they were looking for a clue & got knocked out of the boat and were about to get thrown down the big drop - am I crazy??

No Splash is involved, but they are able to get in a boat just in time.

I think we just torturing those who have not read the books. :rotfl2::rotfl2:

Oh, yes, I credit Kingdom Keepers with our having done the Maharajah Trek -- we hadn't done it before reading it.

You would really like the books MeMom. Jill read them, didn't she?

I am very excited about Legoland. I am hoping to coincide a visit there with Connor's 13th birthday. :thumbsup2

I hope it warms up soon and melts that ice!

It is melting ever so slowly.

I can't believe kids have been out of school all week! That is crazy! How was your commute to school today? I didn't bother to attempt to go out yesterday, but today's commute was easy. The roads were clean.

The roads I travel have been fine. I guess some of the back roads farther north in the county are still icy, and the schools didn't get their food deliveries which was another reason for no school on Friday. If we don't have food to feed them, we can't have kids.

I had the best little fun reading this chatter about the Kingdom Keepers series...you ladies are so FUN...really I am not making fun of you.

We are slowly thawing out. I am ready for next week to return to normal. My dad pointed out that in the last month, we have had only four instructional days with students. No wonder I miss my students. :rotfl:

I have no problems with clowns but that commercial freaks me out too!

As for the KK books. I actually think about it more in Winnie the Pooh. The rain, rain, rain.

MeMom you should read them. Just skip ahead if it gets too scary. :rolleyes1

I am so intrigued by this commercial now.

When we were there this summer and watching Illuminations, Connor and I were trying to figure out the logistics of the scene on the barge. ;)

::yes::

:lmao::rotfl::rotfl2:

MeMom, you are cracking me up!

Well, Jackie, you and Anita have me curious...what IS in snow? Do I dare ask? :rotfl2:

According to one of Anita's students, it is 10% fish pee.

Our dogs are still enjoying it, although when the snow iced over earlier in the week, Nala got stranded at the back of the yard. She didn't like the way she crunched on the snow and then sunk down into it. It took her fifteen minutes to gingerly walk back to the door (with all four legs splayed out the whole time).

Welcome! Glad to have you here!

If truth be told, I think I still have to read the end of your other TR too. Shame, I know! I got mighty behind on Dising over the holidays and I am still catching up.

The holidays were crazy busy so no worries.

As mentioned, I used your links, so I apologize if this has already been asked and answered, but are your kids (and you) out for the summer by end of May? Or is it a trip coinciding with the long weekend?

Our last day is May 20 (we'll celebrate by seeing the new Pirates movie), but after missing a week of school, I am not sure what that will mean for make-up days.

We are excited to stay there -- we were spoiled driving to all the parks last year, so I have a feeling we will be doing the same thing this year.

Loved reading about your snow-in day. And I have to tell you....with your hair down I seriously thought that picture of you was Chelsea!!! You look like a teenager. With no makeup to boot! Charles better hang onto you girl!

:lmao: Thanks! :goodvibes

Looking forward to sharing all the pre-trip excitement with you!:goodvibes

Thank you! I always love having readers to share stuff with!

Okay I have missed the whole Kingdom Keeper saga -- I have the first book, we started to read it, but Griffin didn't seem to get into it. :lmao::rotfl::rotfl2:

My lips are sealed, but you must read them, HD! Lots of fun to be had in all of them. Just remember that Disney does publish them, so they aren't going to allow anything that really tarnishes the image. All good fun.

Well....you might second guess more than just the little people. Just sayin'

True, true! ;)

I am glad it was Splash we got stuck on, not ITSW, Splash is untouched in the books so far. Though honestly, I wish I'd read them before our trip as I'd have looked at OMD in a new light!

Oh, but Splash does figure into the first one -- don't you remember the rushing water? Connor and I were pointing out things in One Man's Dream when we walked through it.

Peter and the Starcatchers is far better writing but when they get a bit older, the darkness of KK is kind of cool too. Not remotely as dark as the later HP books though.

Yeah, I wouldn't classify the KK books as great literature, but they are lots of fun to read.

It's been awhile since I read the 1st one, but it seems like I remember something about Spash in it - they were looking for a clue & got knocked out of the boat and were about to get thrown down the big drop - am I crazy??

That does happen. :thumbsup2

Thank goodness, too -- I was worried for them. ;)

I think we just torturing those who have not read the books. :rotfl2::rotfl2:

Just maybe. ;)

YES! Now I don't know whether I want to read them or not!?!?!?

Oh, yes, read them! They are lots of fun! :thumbsup2

Glad your world is back to normal because the whole IASW Shining thing was freakin' me out a bit. :rotfl2:

That recipe looks great! Perfect kid food (and for those of us with a permanent sweet tooth)!

I noticed on Amazon that Kingdom Keepers IV come out on April 5th. This time the action involves Downtown Disney. All kidding aside they are fun books to read. I enjoy that I can picture ever place the action happens. It adds to the story. I am half way through book II and have book III ready when I finish. They have been fun reads, while snowed in.

I agree with everyone that has seen the Clown/doll commercial once was enough.

YES! Now I don't know whether I want to read them or not!?!?!?

What she said !!!! Yes, read them. I was able to get all 3 of them at the library.
I heard there was a 4th. Did it come out ?

I haven't seen this commercial -- I may have to youtube it. LOL!

I am so intrigued by this commercial now.

:lmao: Poor Megs! :goodvibes

USPS clown commercial

Megs DONT LOOK!!!!!

I guess if the area they are getting food from can't leave due to the same weather, you won't be able to get your deliveries. I hope at some point the can just excuse some days.
