Has anyone here sold there textbooks on line? If so, what site did you use, and did anyone buy them?

Our school buyback is a joke: $7 for a never used $60 book:headache: $2 for a barely used $100 book.

I've used eBay and Amazon to sell books....I've actually had better luck with eBay for getting higher prices for them, but Amazon is extremely simple to use...The only thing you may want to check is whether they are instructor-customized books, where they may have dropped a couple chapters or sections....Alot of times the best place to sell those is Facebook marketplace because they're designed for a specific school.

I used bookbyte, cash4books.net, and blue rectangle. The best thing is to do a search on book buy back and try different sites there to figure out which one will be the best deal.

I have used ebay and half.com. Half.com does not take as much out of what you get from the sale as an ebay auction, but it takes a little longer to get your $$$.

I have used ebay, ecampus and amazon. I also suggest doing a search first for the best deal.

I just started using half.com because my campus buyback program is also a joke, and my friends recommended it. I put 5 books up for sale on Sunday, sold one on Monday, and one on Tuesday.... I sold one for MORE than I bought it for, and the other for the same as I bought it for. It does take a little longer to get the money, but if you don't need it within 2 weeks it's a pretty good deal.

I hear half.com is a great place to sell books. I haven't sold books there, but that's where I bought most of mine and it worked well for that. Selling back books at our school is awful too. A friend of mine got $1.50 back for a book that wasn't exactly cheap. It's ridiculous sometimes, really.

half.com is great. I buy and sell my books there, and I always at least come close to breaking even.

half.com would probably give you the best deal, but something like ecampus.com is really quick and easy. I've used both before, and they've both worked out great.
