Self-Imposed Poll-hiatus ending.....

You guys are funny. But I think this is what Community Boards are for. Fun and just for play.

And I believe the expression is "wives tale" not "wisetale" :-)

Having said that, I for years would say "for all intensive purposes" until I learned otherwise.............

B: "People who think posting in chat rooms all day is actually "having a life", and how their DW,DS,DD,DMIL,DFIL,DGS,DGD,D....mock them"

C: "People that ought to give money back to their employers"

D: "People who wear bifocals because of the Dis Boards, and how their DW,DS,DD,DMIL,DFIL,DGS,DGD,D....mock them"

Tonight on Dateline....those mysterious codes and what they REALLY mean to you.

(you might be a geek if .........you speak in acronyms and other use of initials as your primary language :3dglasses - which, BTW I have done for YEARS :earboy2: )

OMG!!! I am in the yellow on my counter!!! What happened...did I catch a virus...oh great - I am going to be puking soon aren't I?

Spearenb, you are a dead man! (wait - you ARE a man? errrr :teeth: )

Woohoo!!

How about a poll on when you start packing for your trips? (because I will be up til midnight at least next Friday night packing for our little jaunt down)

How about polls for the best and worst threads of 2004? (How many people do you put in a studio, Are DVCers Trailer Trash...)

FYI - You've been talkong about ending your poll hiatus for a while, but you haven't done it yet. What's with keeping us all in suspense?

ahhh, ok.

When I first read it, I thought I saw 'da' instead of 'dead'... a slightly different interpretation I must say....

wise vs wives... ok. I will go with that.

How about a poll about if you have treated your family to a DVC vacation did it turn out bad or the number of bad memories that was generated from it...

still giddy from the puke fumes....

Hey lllovell - just noticed your counter. We'll be there at the same time. Maybe we'll bump into each other. We'll be the family wearing Eagles shirts cheering for Donovon McNabb as he parades down Main Street USA after winning the Super Bowl!

Did you hear on the news that they are NOT doing the "I'm going to Disneyland/World" commercial after the Super Bowl this year. :earseek:

:cool1: I can't wait! I am a number cruncher and Jan is the WORST for me. I have busted bootie this year to get done before April (we own/manage shopping centers and I have to do lots of balancing work for each tenant) and I am ALMOST done!! So close. Put a Disney trip in my sites and I am like that horse pulling the cart to get to the carrot. :earboy2:

Are you going to try to see the game? Or skip it? I am thinking Sunday will be dead in the parks.

da man

da man

da man

:worship: :teeth:

There is probably a poll on how people use their points in the archives here. I am having a nightmare trying to plan our first year's use. I am curious how others plan. All in one trip, several small ones, staying only Sun - Thurs nights, etc

WHAT?!?!? SKIP IT?!?!?

When your dad would weep if they won, when you have two brothers who would mock you forever if you skipped watching the game in favor of Mickey Mouse, when your daughters first words (almost) were GO EAGLES, when you bleed green, when you obsess at even hearing every word the announcers say during an Eagles game.....skipping the game is not an option.

Enjoy the empty parks!

lol

If the Steelers had made it, I would have had to leave hubby behind in the hotel bar to go to the parks. BUT....YOUR Eagles KILLED my Falcons this past weekend, so I am in the clear (although - my loyalities are more with da Mouse and college ball....FSU in a bowl game and all bets are off!)

*hoping for an empty MGM on Sunday* We are going to try to work our way through the shows that we have skipped in the past because of needing to wait too long to get inside. Lunch at the Sci-fi (a first). Maybe Fantasmic again (I am a sucker for the big nightly shows!). ::MinnieMo Just get me on property!!!

Hey, we'll be there too. I haven't decided if I'm eating at Liberty Tree Tavern Sunday as we planned (before realizing it was Superbowl Sunday) or leaving the family in MK Sunday afternoon to go watch the game at ESPN at BW. Maybe I should take a poll to help me decide.

Game doesn't start 'till 6:30, so you can still get in lots of park time if you get there early. I thought about ESPN also since we're staying at BWV, but I've heard that if you're not there by 11 am, forget it. Someone on these boards mentioned that the resorts each bring in a large screen tv to the lobby/common area, so I think BW lounge is where I'll be. Walk in and yell "RASH" and (if you don't get arrested) maybe we can share a beer :drinking1 - as long as your an Eagles fan!

*wondering if walking in and yeling RASH would clear the room or go unnoticed during Super Bowl Sunday*

Hubby is going to a conference on Monday, so it will just be the kidlets and I. Think we are going to MK.

MK Sat night as well....not that I mind since I have a now 3 and almost 5 year old boys. MK is still our favorite! :teeth: :wizard:

Hey, I like that. I'm an optometrist, [...] :)
I'm glad that you're a positive thinking, glass-half-full kind of person....

;)

*sliding to the "I get it" side*

It made me giggle (but then my family is punny among other traits ;) )

nothing worse than a pessimistic optometrist.

Yeah there is...... a proctologist with a grin.

A protologist walks into a bank. He reaches for a pen and pulls out a thermometer. He asks himself, "I wonder where I left my pen?"
