Segway tour "sold out" from May 22 - May 27

I called to book my Segway tour at Epcot and the CM said they were all booked for quite some time. I may be able to get in if someone cancels, but it looks like I won't be trying it this time.

Moral of the story.......

Don't be slow, book as soon as you know

i guess it is my own fault for waiting so long to book it. Oh well, adding the extra day to the trip will maybe make it up.

I tried calling to make reservations for the segway tour also and May 8th - May 13 was sold out. We're going to keep trying incase someones cancels, but it isn't looking good.

If its difficult to try to get, I may have to torture myself and try to book it LOL

as for how hard is it to get. it is only 1 per day and only 10 per group. Since now 2 of this are out of luck, I think it is kinda hard. Good luck getting your dates

mickeymule, thanks for the link! My husband is NYC police officer and has access and has ridden on the Segways. I don't think he would want to do this on his vacation although it sounds like a lot of fun! Thanks again!

I booked this for DH's birthday present when I first read about it on this site. He did the tour a few days ago and loved it! The instructors were great and he enjoyed the group. Guests in Future World made a big fuss when the group rode to and from the World Showcase, and it was probably a great advertising tool.
An unexpected bonus was that the group could see the painting/planting work being done in WS, and they could take some great pictures, since no one else was there.
It seems to be really catching on.

I'm not sure if it has a time limit booking date as i booked mine for mid-Oct when i first found out about it. The CM i booked it with said i was the first person she had booked for this tour and she wanted to know how i had gotten the info. so quickly. I told her the disboards of course.

We've got it booked for the morning of May 24th. I think one of the reasons that the week mentioned is sold out is that is DVC Member Homecoming and DVC members get a 15% discount on the tour. I'm looking forward to it!

Hey BWVPam,

The tour is $80 per person, but there is a 15% discount for DVC, AP, and DV card holders. To book the tour call 1-407-WDW-TOUR

I called about a couple of dates in July, not sure which one we are doing quite yet, and was informed the dates I was looking are more or less empty at the moment but it is only ten people per day so book early if you plan to go.

Is there a certain age in order to do this tour?

Yes there is, and I think it's 16 (but don't quote me). I remember thinking that the 17 y/o we were traveling with could go with DH, but her 10 y/o brother couldn't. There's also a weight restriction -- no more than 250 lbs ---- so watch those Mickey bars!

They were sold out for our May 12-19 trip, but we got ressie's for our June trip....June 12th.
