Segway Tour - Epcot

If you want to do this for your JUne trip I would call asap as they are already taking ressies. They will charge a credit card for the full amount of the tour at booking.

Made my ressies for the Segway Tour last week. We are going the end of May, and we could not get the day we wanted (full) so we are going the next day. They have 2 times you can pick from, I think it was 8:30 and 9:30.
I would call as soon as possible if I were you. They do require a CC.
:)

If I make my ADRs on Saturday (the 18th) by what date should I make ressies for the Segway? Should they be done at the same time or should a wait a month?

I've already booked my tour for August! They took a deposit by CC over the phone. Remember to request the correct tour because there is one Segway "training" type course that is one hour all indoor and one Segway tour that is 2 hours.......1/2 training and 1/2 outdoor around the World Showcase. Have fun! It looks like a blast!

Tinks,

Thank you. I will be making mine a ressies next Saturday. I am more excited about it than my DS 16!

Minimum age is 16 (with a parent/guardian) and 18 (without a parent).

One note: It's not just a deposit, it's the full price of the tour they charge to the CC. ($80 pp) I was able to make a ressie for three people for this tour in late June about 140 days out. I even had my choice of the two start times -- I was surpised! I chose the later time because my teens don't like to get up early if they don't have to, and also because for the second tour, the WS is open to the public for the last half hour of the tour, so hopefully my DD and I can find them to take pictures of DH and DSS!

My DD and I want to ake the tour is this July, but my job does not approve vacation time until 3 months before, would april be to late to book the tour or is the
tour tranferable or refundable???
Any suggestions would be helpful Thanks :badpc:

I just called this morning to reserve this for DH for May 15. SHe said they are taking reservations now for the rest of the year. I was able to get my first choice, so I wouldn't stress about it but would probably book it now.

ddc13 - you can cancel up to 48 hours in advance. I'd just go ahead and book it.

Also there is a 15% discount if you have AAA - every little bit helps!

Be sure to mention AAA if you have it. We paid $68 per person for the two hour Segway Tour last year. It was BIG FUN!!!

I made our ressies for next month ~ a month ago for myself, DS (16) and his friend (also 16) for the 3/28 8:30 am tour. I was really surprised that I was able to get our first choice since they only have 10 guests per tour. DS is soooo excited about finally being old enough to do this tour (and so am I  ) . 38 days till we touch-down in Orlando  !

So they are taking them for the rest of the year??? Or is it 180 like dining?

OK can someone please tell me what the Segway Tour is? Thanks.

The Segway Tour is a 2 hour training and use of the segway movers, which are the one-person "scooter" type vehicles you see used in Epcot and sometimes in DTD. A person stands up on the vehicle, so in that sense it resembles a scooter that kids ride, but it is motorized and it moves you from here to there fairly quickly. They seem like great and I am planning on making ressies (required) for myself, DM, and DS for our August trip.
