seen on TV does it work

Smooth away did not work for me. You actually had to press really hard in circles and then your arm would hurt afterwards. :confused3

It worked for me :confused3. I like it... unless it's the summer when I have my fake-tan stuff on... then it rubs it off. I never used it on my arm pits.... but it works well for my legs!

I have the Magic Bullet and I will chime in that it is great! As a PP said, it will sometimes leave chunks of ice in your smoothies (or margaritas :rolleyes1) but I've used it quite a bit for pureed foods. Just last Sunday I made homemade applesauce and it pureed up beautifully. I've never thought to use it for scrambled eggs though.

I wouldn't mind trying the Ninja chopper thingy. I have a food chopper from the Martha Stewart collection at Macy's and man does that thing suck. I keep waiting for someone to have a Pampered Chef party so I can get that one (which kicks butt). But the Ninja chopper looks pretty nifty.

My DD8 is DYING for the Touch and Brush. Just about every weekend she tries to convince me that we NEED the Touch and Brush. It's truly hilarious. I thought about getting her one for Christmas but after hearing what people think about it, it's a no for us.

I didn't see this one posted yet...we love the Sham Wow! I use one to wipe down my shower every time I (or anyone else) use it. It helps keep it clean longer.

We took ours to the parks and used it to wipe down seats after it rained so we weren't sitting in a puddle. Got several comments from people who wished they had brought one, too!

Funny that I found this thread today. DH suggested getting a Grill Daddy brush for some friends of ours, but I have no idea if they really work. Has anyone here tried it and if so how did it work?

can the brownie pan be used for cakes too not a big brownie fan but like the thought of cut cake with powdered sugar topping

I haven't tried cakes yet, but don't see why not.

I recently made corn bread with the brownie pan and it worked GREAT!!!!
I love the Perfect Brownie Pan!!!!

My only suggestion, is to make sure you spray the whole thing with pam, otherwise I can see things sticking to it.

loving this thread! I can chime in on Bump-its, they were in a silly Yankee Swap I do with my friends, and we opened and tried them right away. If you have thin hair, FORGET IT. It may work well on thicker hair if you fool around with it for awhile, we lost interest.
Did you read the directions? From what I remember, the user needs to tease their hair at the crown to properly use the BumpIts. Please. Then what's the point of the device???

You think? I have one back-ordered from QVC, and I'm debating whether to wait for it or not (or to change my color choice and get it sent now).

For those who have a Publix, ours was clearancing the As Seen on Tv section. Most items were 25% off, but if that brownie pan is there at 50% off I think I'll be grabbing it. :)

My dad can't function without his Grill Daddy. He's on number 2. He has been known to grill Christmas dinner so it does get used year round.

I had my best tomatoes this summer from the Topsy Turvy. I really think it's about where you place it in the yard and the amount of sunlight the plant gets.

And another one that hasn't been seen yet, I swear by the Kinoki foot detox patches. They've worked wonders for me. I'm constantly recommending them.

Vonage (IMO) is the worst!

The 2 person company I worked for had vonage and they were impossible to work with and refused to release our number after we had issues with them. We decided to go back to our regular carrier (due to the constant issues with vonage) and we had to get temp numbers while we worked to get the business #'s back. I worked on it for 4 straight months before the company I worked for closed it's doors and it was NEVER resolved.

My boss and I do not swear but after this whenever we got frustrated we would shout "VONAGE". That is how much we despised the situation. LOL

I got the Ninja from QVC and love it! It makes the Margarita snow, with no ice chunks in it, just like they show on tv. Be careful, though. I did cut the daylights out of my finger on one of the blades. They are unbelievably sharp.:thumbsup2

Really? I remember seeing a news report about these foot detox pads and they said it was a total scam. The pads turn a darker color when they get wet (from your feet sweating, presumably). They showed it on the air when they took a dropper and wet the pads and then the pads turned the same color.

We bought a small sham wow towel (at the checkout at walmart; 2 to a pack) to take to Disney World this past summer (late July/early August when it rained a lot) and used them to wipe off rides, benches, bus seats, etc. when they were wet. It worked well, I kept the towels in my purse in a ziplock bag and we used them several times. They weren't as absorbent as they are advertised to be, but it worked for what we were looking. We don't use them at home, but they are washed and in our travel bag for the next trip though.

I know a lady who travels to Europe with her Sham Wow. She rinses out her things at night, rolls them up tight in a Sham Wow to get most of the moisture out, hangs them to dry, and wears those things the next day. She loves them for travel.

Oh that's a letdown. Can't say I'm surprised, though! :rolleyes1

Oh I could not live without my magic bullet! I used it to make all of DS's baby food and it was a huge life saver!
